From the upstart, Smoke Man and Eli James confer on who to send in first. With a wicked grin, Eli points vaguely at the rest of their team, and Smoke man nods. Meanwhile, on the opposite end, Dean Moxley McGovern doesn't bother waiting for Hunter Payne to decide, and shoves Tri Bute into the ring with a smirk. Tri Bute sighs, and accepts his fate as Smoke Man orders Kimmy-K into the ring.

The bells rings, and Tri Bute rushes into Kimmy, leveling her with a series of straight punches to the face! Kimmy backs into the ropes, and Tri Bute whips her across the ring. On the return, Kimmy leaps into the air and plants Tri Bute into the mat with a crossbody into a pin!

Kick-out from Tri Bute! Kimmy drags the Trios champ into her friendly corner and tags in Smoke Man, who leaps over the top rope and extends his leg, slamming into Tri Bute with a leg drop! Smoke rises to his feet, dragging Tri Bute with him, only to toss the future man over with an arm drag, which develops into an arm bar!

Stuck in the center of the ring, Tri Bute tries desperately to wrech his arm free, but Smoke is not letting go! Seeing no other option, Smoke begins to inch himself toward the rope! His arm reaches...

...and manages to grab the bottom rope! Smoke is forced to release the hold. He goes to re-approach Tri Bute, only to be caught in Tri Bute's signature Two-handed Testicular Claw! After a moment of pure ball-torture, Tri Bute releases the grip, pokes Smoke Man in the eye, and tosses the team leader into the corner, where Tri Bute hesitantly tags in Juan Madison.

Madison steps between the ropes and does a little Mexican Hat Dance for Smoke, who sits up in the corner, quite confused. Shaking off the oddity, Smoke tackles at Madison, who sidesteps, dragging Smoke's legs, and Smoke Man lands chest-first onto the second rope! Juan Madison laughs aloud, and bounces off the ropes, eventually swinging himself around the top and middle rope in a tiger feint kick, right into Smoke Man's face!

Smoke flies backward into the ring, and Juan follows up by ascending the top rope, only to come plummeting down onto Smoke Man with a flying legdrop bulldog! Juan rolls Smoke over for a pin!

Broken up by Shawn Steele, who has entered the ring! Steele is quickly dealt with by Juan, who pulls a baggie of hot, hot, hot --- caliente pepper powder from his pocket -- and tosses it right into Steele's eyes! As he screams in agony, Juan tosses the man right over the top rope! Steele's head bounces off the hard floor below, essentially taking him right out of this match!

But with his back turned, Smoke has crawled right past Juan Madison and tagged in Eli James IV! Juan barely has time to even turn before Eli delivers a big boot to Madison's head! The hispanic man flies backward, bouncing off the mat! Eli waits patiently for Madison to get up, and runs in with a neckbreaker! He pins the fallen Madison!

Kick-out! Juan Madison fights off Eli James with a series of vicious punches to the head, and the holy man is forced to back off, as Madison leaps into his friendly corner, tagging in Dean Moxley McGovern!

Dean wastes no time, running in, sliding, and sending an uppercut to Eli's face! Eli falls back into the corner, and Dean continues his offensive, giving Eli an open-palm strike to the nose! A sickening CRACK is heard, and Eli stumbles out of the corner, now bearing a flow of crimson from his nostrils! But once he reaches the center of the ring, Eli's head snaps back, and his eyes lock crazily upon Dean! Eli begins to laugh, as though he's just heard the funniest joke of his life, and falls onto his hands and knees, crawling like the little girl from the Exorcist! Dean stumbles backward, unnerved from the fearful display! He can be seen clearly muttering "fuck that" as he tags in Hunter Payne with an open-palm slap across the face.

Hunter is clearly upset by the odd form of a tag, but decides there's no time to waste, as he leaps over the top rope into the ring, only to be floored by a big boot from Eli! Hunter is quickly back to his feet, and sidesteps a second big boot, before countering with a dropkick! As Eli climbs to his knees, Payne plants Eli back down with a Payneful DDT! The pin!

Kickout! Eli stays alive! But Payne is not messing around here, as he mounts Eli and delivers a series of jabs to the holy man's forehead! Payne dismounts, and raises his arms, begging the crowd for some energy, which they gladly provide in the form of a huge pop! Payne grins at some of the more pretty ladies in the front row before running toward Eli James.

James sidesteps Payne's charge, tossing him into the corner and following up with a clothesline in the corner! The crowd's cheers fade out as Eli regains control.

Payne drops to his knees and Eli wrenches him back up to his feet by his hair, before delivering a Belly To Belly Suplex! From there Eli starts stomping on Payne, while Payne in on the canvas. Gripping the rope to help add to the leverage, so that he can really stomp his boot good and deep into Payne's chest, stomach, ribs and sides! Hunter writhes in agony and waves his hands about to ward off this vicious stomping but to no avail.

Meanwhile, outside the ring Shawn Steele has risen to his feet, but seems to have stepped on a piece of chewing gum and is having trouble lifting his foot. He wiggles his foot back and forth and looks to be very frustrated. Finally, with all his strength he pulls up his leg, but the force is too much and he somehow manages to throw his leg up so high, he able to kick himself in the head and knock himself out. The gum that was on Steele's shoe, goes flying and lands in a fans mouth, who immediately starts gagging. Warfare staff moderately shuffle towards the fan in order to attempt to aid in the matter. Although, since none of them are trained in first aid, it's really not clear how they plan on assisting. Steele remains unconscious and unaware of the problem he caused as the cameraman decides filming all that was rather pointless and turns the camera back to Eli James destroying Hunter Payne and gasps when he realized, he missed the turn around. Hunter Payne is now back to his feet and is hitting Eli with a Gutwretch Slam into knee!

Hunter Payne then runs off to the ropes, climbs them and leaps into a Tope Amancio! Soaring through the air like a beautiful Hispanic man-bird before connecting with Eli. Eli surges with pain on the canvas upon contact and Hunter jumps up to his feet and then drops back down with a Double Axe Handle! Hunter Payne covers for the pin!

Kickout by Eli James!

Hunter lets out a frustrated grunt as he gets to his feet, instantly diving towards Eli. Eli slowly rises to his feet and appears to be pretty battle torn, but still manages to dodge out of the way of the Payne train!

Eli heads to his corner where Smoke Man is anxious to tag in but Hunter Payne tags in Juan Madison first, allowing Juan to leap over the ropes and dive toward Eli! Juan catches his foot and stops him from reaching Smoke Man's hand! Juan pulls Eli into a Mexican Leg Sweep and then does a standing flippy move right to the face of Eli James! OUCH! Juan rushes over and pushes Smoke Man and Kimmy off the apron.

Juan begins circling Eli James and preparing for something big but Hunter Payne tags himself back in! Juan and Hunter hit a double dropkick to Eli and Hunter pins him...

KICKOUT! Hunter pulls Eli up and gets ready to irish whip him but Eli plants his feet and then reverses it, sending Payne slamming into the turnbuckle. Eli takes that opportunity to nail Payne with a Russian Legsweep! Payne goes down and Eli stomps Payne in the face a couple times before rushing off to his corner and tagging in Kimmy K!

Kimmy K somersaults over the ropes and lands in the ring doing the splits perfectly. Then she jumps to her feet and smiles as she reaches into her pocket and tosses a handful of glitter in the air while she turns her attention to Hunter Payne, who was rising to his feet. Kimmy giggles and cartwheels over to Payne. Once Kimmy gets close enough, she hits Hunter with a Superkick and follows it up with a Monkey Flip!

Payne hits the canvas and Kimmy greets his face with a Fist Drop before back flipping to the ropes, climbing them and perching on the top turnbuckle. Kimmy smiles widely as she gazes out at the arena and tosses another handful of glitter. From there Kimmy leaps into the air, shooting like a blazing firecracker and executing an amazing Hurricarana! Kimmy hits Payne with spot on and precise accuracy and covers for the pin.

Kickout by Hunter Payne!

On the outside of the ring Shawn Steele stirs and sits up. He rises to his feet and shakes his head as he smacks himself in the face. The fan who was choking earlier sees this and shouts to Shawn. Thankfully, the fan didn't choke to death, but that was no thanks to the Warfare staff, who kept trying to hand the poor man a band-aid rather than attempt to dislodge what he was choking on. Eventually the man just slammed himself over the fan rail and the culprit for the whole ordeal - a piece of gum, flew out and landed on a rat scurrying along. Now the fan was fine, but he still felt like telling Shawn Steele a piece of his mind about the ordeal even if Shawn had no actual power over what happened. The fan was still pissed. Shawn hears his name being called and turns to the source in time to get hit with a cup full of the fan's soda. The bubbles sizzle in Shawn's eyes and he screams. What the fuck do they put in the soda they sell here? Shawn stumbles and smacks into a pole holding a light fixture up and the light drops onto Steele, electrocuting him instantly. Shawn Steele falls to the floor motionless....but still breathing. Boy oh boy, it is not Shawn Steele's day thinks the camera man who turns the camera back in time to see Hunter Payne hit Kimmy K with a Clothesline, that almost takes her head clean off!

Hunter follows that up with a Leg Drop! From there Hunter Payne gets back to his feet and pulls Kimmy along with him by her hair. Hunter slaps Kimmy hard across the face and Kimmy spits in Hunter's eye! Hunter looks pissed and doubles up his fist. He rears back and Kimmy catches him with a Low Blow, before he can deliver the punch. Hunter falls to his knees and Kimmy gets Hunter with a Spin Kick that levels Payne to the canvas. Kimmy covers for the pin.

...Splat! Dean tosses a water balloon at Kimmy and breaks up the pin. Kimmy screeches as she rolls off of Payne, looking upset she's been hit with a balloon that was hopefully full of just water! Where Dean got the water balloon is uncertain but the cameras do see a young boy running away from the ring, so chances are it came from him. Kimmy K fumes and Hunter Payne gets to his feet. Hunter turns away from Kimmy and runs to his corner, tagging in Dean Moxley McGovern!

Moxley winks and gives a thumbs up to Payne, who smiles and slaps Moxley on the ass as Moxley turns around and charges for Kimmy K. However Kimmy K tosses a handful of glitter in Dean's eyes and he is blinded by the painful sparkles! Kimmy then hits Dean with a Roundhouse Kick to the jaw, followed by a Leg Sweep. McGovern crashes to the canvas and Kimmy takes off towards the ropes again. Climbing them and mounting the top rope in seconds. Kimmy attempts a Moonsault but before she makes impact, Dean rolls out of the way! Kimmy slams into the canvas, her move a bust!

While that happens Dean frantically rubs at his eyes, trying to remove the glitter as Kimmy lays on the canvas. Both not in any position to fight, but both not injured enough to be considered incapable to continue. The fans roar in anticipation of what will happen next as a rat with a piece of gum stuck to its back pisses on an unconscious Shawn Steele's hand!

... Wait a minute! Shawn slaps the rat away!

Some life surges through his body and the fans are shocked to see Shawn Steele get back up and somehow make his way to the ring apron. He climbs up and asks for the tag!!!

Kimmy is reluctant but before she knows it, Shawn reaches forward and taps her shoulder to tag himself in!

Shawn Steele pulls Dean McGovern to his feet and gets ready to finish him off, when... DEAN WITH A LOW BLOW!

SMOKE MAN WITH THE SAVE! Smoke Man broke up the pin with a Suicide Dive out of nowhere and quickly gets to his feet, helping Steele up and dusting him off. Steele brushes Smoke Man's hands away and gives him a weird look. Both men are caught up in this rather awkward interaction as Moxley pops in with a sliding, kneeling groin punch to Steele followed by an upward palm strike to nose, this causes Shawn to go stumbling backwards. As this occurs a swift Roundhouse Kick to Steele's head while he's in this condition, sends Steele flying out of the ring. Steele impacts the floor hard! With an angry scowl, Steele punches the ground before he climbs to his feet. Tonight really hasn't been Shawn's night!

Shawn Steele: "Fuck it!"

Shawn Steele throws his hands in the air and turns around. He flicks off the cameras and then he begins to walk away from the ring. Where the fuck is Shawn Steele going? Is he leaving the fight? Is he so upset that he decided to fuck over his whole team and just leave? What an asshole!!!

The ref sees this and begins to count for Shawn Steele as Steele continues walking away from the ring.

Meanwhile, Dean and Smoke Man have started trading blows. Dean catching Smoke Man with some chops to the chest, an Elbow Smash and a few knees to Smoke Man's ribs. Smoke man firing back with a few punches and a Side Kick. Both too caught up with each other and neither paying attention to Steele, as the ref counts.

Dean stumbles back and Smoke Man grabs Dean by the throat, delivering an epic... Chokeslam! Holy Shit!

Dean slams to the ring and Smoke Man rushes to the ropes, ascending them in lightning quick speed and instantly launching from the top rope!

Smoke Man hits Dean with the... Big Elbow Drop! As this happens Shawn Steele has made it to the top of the ramp and gives one final look back before flicking the arena off. From there Shawn Steele walks through the entrance and disappears from sight.

...but Smoke Man has Dean Moxley McGovern pinned and the ref sees this right as he makes the ten count. Acting out of instinct, the ref drops down and counts...?

The ref gets up and is about to signal for the bell but freezes, realizing he just fucked this entire match up like an idiot!

Not knowing whether to count the TEN count or the pinfall, the referee just rips his official XWF referee shirt off and throws it into the face of a fat black fan.

REF: Screw this! They'll prolly decapitate my ass for this one. I quit!

The ref steals a little boy's hot dog and takes an angry bite out of it before making his way through the fans and vanishing.





Well... what the fuck. What now?




Shane appears at the top of the ramp with a mic in hand. He seems like he wasn't expecting to be out here, rubbing his eyes like he's either very tired or very stoned.

: It looks like we have some confusion on what's happening here! Did Shawn Steele get counted out and cost his entire team the chance to advance? Did Dean McGovern get pinned? I think it's pretty obvious BOTH of those things happened... but since this is not an elimination match, I am recognizing both actions as a DRAW!

The fans let out a mixed reaction.

: Everyone involved in the match advances to round two!

The fans erupt!

: Except for Shawn Steele, since it looked like he was willingly walking out on his team!

The fans cheer even louder.

: So in order to keep an even number of participants moving into round two, I'm going to need to HAND PICK somebody to take Shawn's spot!

A hush falls over the crowd.

: ...Aaaaaaaand who better to take that spot than the most recent Superstar of the Month? That's right! The September Star of the Month will be moving into the second round of the Lethal Lottery!

The fans cheer as Juan Madison does a super flippy move off the top rope and belly flops into the crowd. He begins crowd surfing while Dean starts playing paddycake with some boys in the front row. Smoke Man, Kimmy and Eli quickly distance themselves from the unusual acrivity as Tri Bute is now seen rolling into a fan.

What a Lethal Week it's been! Now we move into Round Two in which TWENTY FOUR names will be drawn into completely random teams of TWO! Who will be paired up for this next round? Who will face one another?

OOC: I went ape when I pinned Dean, but then the confusion made me worried. Happy I got through either way. Great week of battle, I guess in the end it was that damn close - even without Shawn there!
