Alexandra stood by the lake, it had quickly become one of her favorite places. She found solace there. She knew it was her place. A place she could go to collect her thoughts, considering where she was in her life.. the things she was seeing, the things she was going through. All of it was strange and different and for a moment there.. when she disappeared for three days, you had to ask yourself, did it matter to anyone? Most likely.. not. No one even noticed she was gone.

You smell of death...

That was all I needed to say. I knew where she went, I knew she saw them...and I knew my sudden appearance was something she didn't want.

"Yes. I've seen them. I was there for three days."

She stood there looking at Zak, keeping her eyes on him.

"You look different."

Blame Nova. I relapsed and he shocked the other body's heart into working. Didn't think it was possible to kickstart a heart that had been unbeating for three years.

Alexandra nodded and walked next to her, sitting on a bolder.

I wasn't what you needed. I failed you, them, Micah...myself. I only ask, out of everything in this world, that you forgive me for that.

"Vampires don't ask for forgiveness, normally. However, for that it is granted."

Alexandra looked at him as he moved to the boulder.

"To be honest with you. I'm not worthy of anyone. I wasn't what you needed if anything. I am simply me. A girl lost in time."

She looked out over the lake.

Simply a soul who is too advanced and yet still holds to times of old. I was the one who failed...All in due time will you find your mate, just keep your heart and soul open, he may be closer than you think.

I smiled softly as she sat next to me, realizing I wasn't a threat.

Micah moved out...she's in Vegas...said something along the lines of too much tension...she was crying so I didn't pay much attention.

"I suppose I need to give her a call later."

Alexandra looked at him.

"I don't have a clue in hell what is going on. I honestly thought Mystica would be the one. I felt it. I thought he did too."

Give it time. There are two souls there. I would offer to help but I know how you are. He's a fiery redhead too...he's just not a hot headed as you.

I stuck my tongue out and laughed as she punched my arm.

"I figure in his on time, he'll figure things out. If not.. well.. It was nice.. while it lasted. But I know, love was never easy, when it was real."

She rolled her eyes.

"I'm not that hot headed."

She coughed.

"Sorry for the.. well.. stabbing you. It wasn't my intent."

I shrugged, It's nothing. Hurt like hell but it's whatever and you are hot headed....hot headed and stubborn like everyone in your family.

I smiled and kissed her forehead, Things will work out.

My head cocked slightly.

She closed her eyes, flinching a bit when he kissed her forehead.

"Zak.."

She was still afraid of him, especially after their last few encounters, including one where he sliced her neck pretty well.

"If it doesn't, this time I wont have to only pick up my broken pieces, but Ashlynn and Thomas as well. They've grown quite fond of him. I just feel like I'm never doing good enough for them."

Ashlynn is strong, she can take care of herself and if she learned anything from me, she'll be fine. Jax will be too. He's young enough that it won't be long before he forgets. Hell, took him...what...a month to forget about me and he was my shadow for the first year.

I smiled, running a hand through my hair and looking over the water.

You always have Micah, she's a healthy distraction. With the twins...she'll need all the help she can get.

"You really think so little of him. He asks about you all the time. He doesn't quiet understand where the man he knew as daddy went."

Alexandra hears someone speaking to her and the look on her face changes. She looked a bit worried.

I wasn't there to take Jon's place...but I'm always a phone call away if you ever want a baby sitter.

I smiled but noticed the look, What's wrong?

"I know you weren't. Thomas is the one that calls you that. Not me. Jax remembers you too. You were there during his developmental stages."

She looked down.

"I just.. I feel like I'm being followed."

"You have been living a dull life. Let the fuck catch you and if you need help...scream. Either myself or Micah will be there in a heartbeat."

Not the best advice to give to her but hey, she needed to have fun.

"Thomas and Jax look like twins....blow me because I forgot my stepsons."

Alexandra flips him off.

"There, you've been blown."

She chuckles and pulls out her phone. Showing him a picture of Jax.



"Look at what my oldest son has taken up being. I'm starting to wonder if sending him to live with his father was the right idea."

Alexandra heard the voice calling to hear on the wind again. She shook her head, before covering her ears.

Radio taps on Alexandras shoulder.

Hey, Alexandra what in the maker are you doing?

Alexandra's head snapped around and she looked at Radio, her eyes flashing their bright firey color.

"I keep.. nevermind."

She stood quickly.

"Have you found Micah?"

She shook her head, trying to shake the voice from her head.

I found her...we talked for a bit but I'm not sure how much longer we will last.

Radio looks down and seems depressed.

I also finally got rid of...IT. so its not a complete loss.

Classic Radio smirk.

Alexandra looked at him confused.

"It?"

She had no clue what he was talking about.

"That's good that you all talked. Why wouldn't you all last?"

Alexandra looked over signaling that Zak was there too. She knew this could be a fight.

Nevermind about that. Its nice to see you. Zak however, not so much.

Radio examines Alexandras body closely.

You look beautiful tonight, Ally.

Alexandra looked at him shocked and confused for a moment. She smiles though and speaks softly.

"Thank you Mich...Radio."

She started to call him Michael but it just didn't seem right.

"You look wonderful yourself."

Radio smirks and clinches his fists together.

I feel better than ever. Almost like, im different person

Radio lowers his arms and looks at Alexandra and smiles.

Such beautiful hair.

Radio runs his right hand through Alexandras hair.

Alexandra looks at him confused thinking that he is crazy for blatantly flirting with her in front of Zak.

"Thank you."

She fought the urge to melt from him touching her hair. Its a weakness of hers.

"Such sweet words, but shouldnt they be spoken towards Micah?"

can't a guy just compliment on how beautiful a girl looks?

Radio still checking out Alexandra begins to look into her eyes and smiles.

Those eyes...I could just stare into the beauty of them all day and night.

Alexandra nodded in agreement with him.

"Sure. I mean.. I just don't want you getting into trouble with her."

She smiled, looking into his eyes.

Radio gets a big smile on his face and places the back of his right hand on her cheek.

She doesn't have to know. Its always been you that I love Alexandra. I know you have the same feelings.

Radio gets close to her and whispers into her ear

Radio looks into her eyes and begins to point his eyebrows downwards.

She pulls the top of his shirt down, revealing Micahs bite.

"I'm not the type to cheat. I am seeing Mystica. Until he says differently."

Youre going to be faithful to a guy who hangs out with someone you despise? We have so much more of a bond, Alexandra. You know this and I do too. This silly bite isn't going to hold me back from showing my true emotions.

"I haven't exactly been home. I was gone to London for three days and no one even noticed I was gone."

She looks down at the ground. She promised herself she wouldn't cry. She hears a growl coming from behind her. Zak still sat on the boulder.

My mate was with Ally's lover? I cocked my head slightly, catching Radio's new scent. His words of them not lasting filled my ears and I sighed, knowing this was Micah's fight.

If you leave my sister, know that you will never seen your children. Please tell me you are not so stupid that you really believe that Micah and Michael's essence runs through those little demons?

The demon looked away from Alexandra, What?

You've been in his body for so long that you slowly changed his genetic makeup. It explains the aura, the eye color...even the scent.
