Alexus Jayden-Marie Sheckler.
No, this woman is not a porn star, or employed by any implied subgenre of adult entertainment. However, she was born to a woman who was adamant about becoming the pinnacle of male-dominated pop-culture. This woman was in fact, an athlete...and a superior one at that. Lexi's been in the professional wrestling industry since her debut in September of 2005. If you haven't heard the name, chances are your clock stopped working under that rock from which you've constructed a home. But...don't be alarmed - there's room for both you, her, and her ego in the room. She's the American dream. Long blonde hair, blue eyes, fabulous stature...built...strong... she's the woman you would love to take home to your mother. Smart, educated, well-spoken, and she's extremely independent in all the right ways.

She's had her fair share of golden opportunities. For a while during her career, she made it a point to address that she wasn't competing for championships. She's pure, in the sense that she believes in rules and governing two people in a clean match-up. She doesn't believe in cheating and she believes that winning and losing are just states of mind. The physical win is in your heart after every match you have and the physical loss is no one's fault but your own. If you were to ask her what her definition of a true athlete was, this would be it. That's her professional philosophy. Eventually, coming to the twenty-eighth year of her life and the eighth year of wrestling professionally, she decided that chasing the championships was a must if she wanted anything to show for her career in this materialistic universe.

Many a time she's been back and forth between wrestling and losing her passion for the sport itself; yet she always comes back. She used to be a professional skateboarder and in her teenaged years was signed to America's Element team. She was so young that her knee couldn't handle most of the tricks she tried to perform and thus an impromptu injury resulting in emergency surgery hindered the rest of her career and put a halt to her continuation on the tour. She needed something to compare to that drive, that passion, and that's when she found professional wrestling. She wasn't your typical girl - although her features match that of a model's, she resented the idea of the "perfect" woman, and detested the skin-and-bone prototype that the media presented as sexy and idealistic. Subconsciously, it probably had something to do with the fact that she was never small and never short and petite. At a towering five foot eleven inches, Lexi surpasses the average height of a female. And, at a broadening one hundred and fourty-seven pounds, she also surpasses the average weight of a female. Though you could never technically say she was overweight according to regular BMI standards, she was still what some may consider an "amazon".
There's so much to say about this woman...but just not enough time. Even JK Rowling couldn't possibly write a book capturing every event in her life accurately enough to grasp the concept of Lexi Sheckler. If you gave a paint brush to Van Gogh and told him to paint the perfect picture of what he believed she portrayed...Well...

He would probably just cut his other ear off. It would be a lot easier.

The camera's are following the blonde bombshell as we speak; her hair is curled, dangling by her lower back. The streaks, black and red in colour, are noticeable as she moves. Her hips swayed side to side and they looked immaculate in her denim shorts. Underneath were a pair of patterned leggings, and black heels on her feet. She wore a red leather jacket, a black corsetted tank top underneath. She seemed to be engaged in a conversation on her cell phone, occasionally looking over her shoulder at the cameras following her, keeping track of their distance. Hanging up, she sighed in frustration before whipping around and staring at the camera.

"Are you Lexi?"

For a moment, she seemed unsure. Slightly frustrated. Overwhelmed. Then like a slap in the face she realized her surroundings and smiled sweetly.

"I am."

"You're even hotter in person!"

Her mouth went agape and she giggled nervously... She wasn't exactly used to being hit on or complimented often...

"Oh, um. Thank you, I guess. That's very nice of you."

"I'm Steve, by the way."

The little voice of popular XWF personality Steve Sayors popped out from behind the camera lens and took place next to Lexi. Unsure of regular social convention among the locker room, Lexi hesitantly stuck out her hand. Steve took it and softly kissed the top of her hand. Again, she raised an eyebrow....he clears his throat and resumes a professional distance from her.

"A lot of beautiful women pass through these halls but none who look as good in denim shorts as you do!"

"You are a very forward young man, yes?"

"Yes. Will you go out with me?"

"No."

She smiled and blushed slightly.

"I have a boyfriend."

"Oh god please don't tell him, would he kill me? Is he big? What does he look like?"

"He kind of looks like Brad Pitt... but from Fight Club. Just that movie."

"So he'd definitely fight me if he knew I was hitting on his girlfriend?"

"Uh...maybe, I don't know."

Her voice was higher pitched and slightly childish; it seemed forced and shy. She twirled a piece of her curled hair and with her free hand, clutched the sides of her red leather jacket together, clearly uncomfortable and a little bit weirded out by Steve's cocky advances.

"Are you the mother of John Black's baby?"

Her smile quickly faded and she looked at the man operating the camera as if to ask if he had any idea what Steve was referring to.

"Okay, going to go with no on that. Are you familiar with John Black?"

She shook her head.

"Do you have any idea what's going on tomorrow night at all?"

"Of course, silly! I have a match. My first match here in XWF. John Black must be my opponent. That's unfortunate that he has some paternal troubles, I hope he figures that out before he's paying child support. And hopefully he doesn't let it get him down tomorrow, I just want everyone to be happy. We're going to put on a hell of a show tomorrow night, and I want John to be in good condition mentally, physically and emotionally so there won't be any unfair advantages."

Steve smiles and turns to the camera man, pointing at Lexi with ultimate happiness in his voice.

"God, she's so nice! So polite."

Lexi blushes and shrugs her shoulders innocently.

"I just know how hard it is to fight your battles when you're going through emotional trauma. Every time Matt and I fight, the last thing on my mind is being mean and beating anyone else up. I would just feel so bad."

"Awww sweetheart I want to take you home to my mother."

"She's probably a nice lady."

"She's the devil - moving along, though, if you and...Matt, did you say his name was? If you guys fight, you always know who you can call if you need to talk...about it...or kiss...or something."

He slips her a piece of paper with his phone number on it. She looks down at it quizzically, looking back up at Steve with a girlishly cute smile. The moment he looks away she turns and chucks it away on the ground.

"John Black mentioned that he was going to make you eat your own tampon if he lost to you tomorrow. You've got to have a thought or two about that. And I want to hear it."

"...That's..."

She squirmed uncomfortably on the spot.

"That's mean!"

She fanned herself trying to rid the tears from her eyes. Steve put an arm around her for consolation.

"I can't believe somebody would actually say something like that and mean it, you know? I came here all the way from California to perform my art, and then there's people like John who say hurtful things and expect to be given good opportunities. I hope he isn't somebody important to this company, because that would be really disgraceful and it would definitely be a contributing factor to me resigning from this company. And that would be a shame, because I've only just begun."

"Oh no no no sweetheart he's a nobody, please don't resign."

"I just want him to see me as an equal opponent. And actually, I was hoping to get some air time tonight so I could maybe motivate him! I want to see him bring his best action to the ring tomorrow night because I am just thrilled to be competing here and ... I'm not trying to be overconfident, but I've travelled to a lot of other companies and I think XWF should provide me with some of their best talent to welcome me here. And if they're giving me John Black, I want a good fight! I want him to be able to set the bar to show me what else is hiding behind those curtains, you know?"

"You should have just said that in the first place! I could definitely take you behind the curtains..."

"Would you? Would you really? You would take me for a tour and maybe introduce me to people so I could make a few new friends?"

"Oh...yes. That."

"That would be really nice, Steve. Shall we go? I think I need a glass of wine to help me rejuvenate from all that hatred talk from John Black..."

Steve stuck out his arm and Lexi latched on, letting Steve guide her through the arena. At the very last moment she turned back towards the camera, winking...the scene cut out shortly after.
