We remain locked into a black screen for a moment longer than usual before the scene suddenly pops to life, the arm of Shawn Steele pulling away from the camera lense to show the man himself standing, alone, in a darkened room, barely enough life to even see him standing just in front of the camera.

Shawn Steele: Where do I begin? Now that Kyle Morrison has finally gotten his head out of his ass long enough to say a few words, I’m not even sure which of his ridiculous to comment on first. So let’s just start from the beginning.

You want to make an impact? Well I hate to break it to you Morrison, but you didn’t make an impact. Why don’t you take a stroll around backstage at an XWF event. You’re just another one of those MMA rejects who strolls into the XWF and thinks that you’re going to run through the competition. News flash jacckass, this isn’t the Ultimate Fighting Championship and I’m not Travis Browne.

So you just keep right on repeating your brother’s mistakes. You remember what Andrew did, don’t you Kyle? He went and he trained with the best. It was going to make him bigger. Faster. Stronger. He was told that I wouldn’t know what hit me. But I knew full well what it was that hit me Morrison. It was a whiny little bitch. And you’re following in his footsteps.

You know before you step foot inside of that ring with me .. again .. on Monday night, why don’t you have a nice little sit down chat with your brother. How about you listen to what he has to say about the man you’re going to face on Monday night. Because let me tell you this one final time Morrison. Your MMA training isn’t going to help you.
