Eli has kept quiet since he spoke to Eli following Wednesday Warfare. Elisha has had a very shocking few days that nobody knows how he would react with so much change happening so fast.
Eric Rex was use to change. He was use to the scene changing, friends constantly moving out of his life, and he just adapted to whatever environment he was placed in. It was one of Eric's many strengths that people saw in him. It would only take a few short minutes to take in his surroundings and figure out his next several moves. Almost like if you played chess and won often, then was introduced to a new board with new pieces that did a few different things and was able to win at that often. He was smart, patient, and was able to think ahead. Unfortunately, his weakness would almost always make his strengths almost non-existent. It was the downside of Eric Rex.
Eric had always thought his weakness wasn't really a weakness, but a stepping stone to allow him to use his strength. His blind spot in that was also a weakness. It made for a vicious circle and a stubborn mind, one that would trouble him a lot.
Early in his child hood, he was physically beat by his father. Dr. Baker has wondered if this is why Elisha's attachment to a mother-like figure in Lacey Rex after his dark transformation. His mother, after seeing all this physical and verbal abuse to her son, she killed her husband. Eric witnessed it and wasn't sure what to think. Several mixed emotions ran through his head. He was sad for losing a father, but happy he found a protector in the woman who brought him into this world. He was angry at his father for doing what he did, and his mother having to react the way she did.
After hearing the gunshots, their neighbors had no choice but to call 911 to report the gun noise. Eric, nor his mother, ran away. In fact, when the police arrived at the scene, there was his mother holding Eric tight in the corner rocking back and forth singing songs to Eric. It's sad to take away a boys parents, especially under this horrific environment that he was in. One police officer would take Eric from his mother's grip, without a fight, outside to talk to the young boy. The other officer would handcuff his mother. She just would stare at the body of the man she loved and married, lying in a pool of blood, with a little smirk on her face as if she's feeling 'freedom'. The officer had written this in the report and said it was quite disturbing.
Eric hugged his mother, and she whispered something in his ear nobody caught. It was a few words only Eric and his mother would know.
Eric was placed in the care of several foster homes through-out the years, adapting to new families. It was a bit tough, because every family had different rules, different standards, and lived different lives. Eric had to just jump in the mix and be whatever fit with them. He was really never allowed just to be himself. He had to conform to whatever environment he was in by force. Nobody could know who Eric might be had he lived a somewhat normal life. It's questions you cannot ask because there is no real time-machine. Eric was stuck in this life by unfortunate circumstances.
Eric never asked anyone about his parents, even his mother whom was alive somewhere behind bars. He never tried to locate her and get her out. Eric just took the cards he was dealt, and played the hand. He was a loner. He was the only shark in the ocean. He had to survive or be killed. This was just the beginning of a strange and dark Eric Rex forming in front of our eyes, yet without us catching any of it.
As soon as Eric turned 18 years old, he decided to join the Navy Seals. He looked at different areas to join in the armed forces such as: Rangers, Green Beret, and the Marines. He decided the Navy Seals was more his style of heavy training, strong heart, and learned what family was all about for the very first time. Some of the things taught he was well-adapted. Survive? He had it down to a science. Different environments? He had learned it already. Now, loyalty and family? That was the tougher part for Eric Rex. He learned, trained, and had made the cut to become a Seal. After several years of being a Seal, he was seen as unstable in a psychology test and had to be sent home. Deep down, Eric was still a loner who was willing to survive.
After going back home, Eric became a mercenary. He didn't work for the country, or an organization, he worked for himself. He was here to fight, survive, and get paid while doing so. As his mercenary business was beginning to build, he decided to work at a prison as a guard just for fun. He enjoyed seeing justice prevail, that and hoped each day someone would 'test' him so he could just release some frustration. He talked some smack and tried his best to make enemies among the inmates just to have some fun. He had several attacks during his time there, and loved every minute of it. Eric was at home, except he really wanted more money.
Eric's biggest weakness: money. He didn't like doing things for free, and thought anything he did should result in a nice pay check. As a result of this weakness, many times the XWF saw Eric Rex either no-show events or just lose on purpose because the pay wasn't good enough or wasn't even there. He didn't care about titles, being undefeated, becoming a top famous name.. he wanted to get paid, and paid well. So did his long-time best friend, Sal.
You remember Sal, don't you? The flashy suits, the light brown hair, the clean shaved face, the bright white teeth, and the green in his eye for money. "Hi. I'm Sal. Sal Valencia. Attorney at Law."Nobody knew where Sal disappeared to after this transformation of Eric Rex into the monster Elisha.
Eric had told Sal, in confidence, that he wanted to join The Black Circle not as a friend of John Madison and Luca Arzegotti, but as a teammate that'll get paid more money. Then came along his new partner, a rich one, Eli James IV. He decided to take Eli James' offer and enjoyed the money he gave to Eric and his team.

FLASHBACK TO LEAP OF FAITH PPV
"WHY??!!!! YOU SON-OF-A-BITCH! REVEN...
The lights quickly go to black and you hear Rex scream..
"NNOOOOO!!!! AAHHHH!
A fire quickly swallows up the cross and burns.. the lights come up and show no one on the cross.. only fire burning it. The lights go dim...

Nobody is outside at The Village. It's after midnight. There's a few lights flickering from torches among the dirt road that goes through the small non-electrical town. An old rusted truck is driving down the dirt with three people wearing all black sitting in the back with another person to be unconscious. The three men in the back carry the unconscious person to a barn surrounded by darkness and a few torches lit up to bring some light. They take him inside the barn and the truck drives off.
Several hours later, the truck comes back with Eli James IV in the passenger side. The one driving the truck is none other than, Sal Valencia. Instead of wearing his usual sharp dressed suits, he's wearing an orange jail-like jumpsuit. His face is dirty and unshaven for a few weeks. Sal remains in the truck, while Eli gets out and goes inside the barn.

Elisha is sitting deep inside his cave, curled up like a frightened little boy, behind a big rock. He has his doll, Lacey, squeezed tight close to his chest.
"OBEY. OBEY. O-O-OBEY.
Back in the cabin, near Elisha's cave, is Dr. Baker still reading over the notebook Elisha had written in. Dr. Baker continues typing out his thoughts on his interpretation.
Unfortunately, Mr. James, I must take a few moments to speak to the man you sacrificed, Mr. Eric Rex. It's the only way to bring closure to this strange turn within Elisha and to set the monster free.
His writings continue to plague my mind a bit. He has a lot of drawings that's hard to make out, especially not knowing his whole life or where he's been. I can only make educated guesses, but it wouldn't give me an accurate root cause for his strange turmoil. I'm going to have to go talk to him this evening, and I shall get back with you soon.
It's Monday Night, which means Eli may be at Madness attending to his Black Circle teammates. Dr. Baker leaves the cabin late in the evening to go check on Elisha in his cave. As he approaches the entrance of the cave, he can hear growling noises echoing from the distance. Not a growling noise from a human's mouth, or that of an animal, but noises that would come from a stomach of hunger. Dr. Baker uses his flashlight to go through the dark cave to find Elisha.
He finds him in that cradle position with his doll.
Elisha. It's Dr. Oliver Baker. How are you doing today?
Elisha makes mumble noises.
Is that your stomach growling? Are you hungry?
FastfastfastfastFASTING! F-F-Fasting.
You can eat, Elisha. Eli only told you to fast for-
Fastfastfastfast.
Alright. Glad you're taking his sayings to heart. How's your doll, Lacey?
Elisha goes back to mumbling.
Does Eric want to talk?
It gets completely quiet. Not a sound is heard, no movement from Elisha, and no noises from his mouth.
May I speak with Eric?
N-N-Not here. E-E-Eric g-g-gone.
What happened to him, Elisha?
ERIC NOT HERE! G-G-G-GONE! NotherenotherenothereEricnotherenothere. Nononononono.
Oh.. Elisha. I believe he is. I want to know why you're hiding Eric Rex from me? Hmm?
Elisha lets Lacey, the doll, go from his grasp. He turns to see Dr. Baker with his flashlight and serious look.
Doctor Baker. Don't awake two monsters you can't control.
For the first time, Elisha speaks without a stutter or a repeat of words. Dr. Baker is taken back by this and isn't sure what to think. Elisha sits up, his back against the cave and his face looking down at the ground.
I know evil very well, Dr. Baker. I taste it everyday in my mouth, and feel is crawling underneath my skin. Don't try to fix what's before you. I'm a tormented soul bound by sacrifice and obedience.
Elisha starts shaking a bit and begins to mumble again. Elisha reaches for his doll and holds it close once again and rocks back and forth.
Elisha, you have a match in a few days. Are you sure you'll be ok to fight?
Elisha turns the doll towards Dr. Baker
He'll be ready, Dr. Baker. He's been ready. He's hungry for blood. He's fasting until he fights Tony. He's starving. His stomach won't stop growling. His dreams are nothing but about the taste of flesh being ripped by his teeth. He's ready. But Doctor, are you ready? To be obsessed and confused at the same time by him? You're digging away deep into the depth of his soul. Are you sure you want to go there? Nobody does.
You know, Doctor Baker, who are you? Why were you sitting in the cabin when my physical appearance had gone away? Why did you give Elisha the doll of me, instead of the actual me? You should start talking, and maybe my son will too.
Elisha hands Lacey to Dr. Baker for a moment, then turns away and goes behind another set of rocks. He reaches and picks up a match. He strikes it against the crave and with the other arm, reaches for something else. It's a Tony Santos action-figure. Elisha sits back where he was and holds the match to the Tony Santos figure and watches it burn.
Burn. Burn. Burn. Burnburnburnburn. T-Tony. Do you f-f-f-fear the monster in t-t-t-the woods? Y-Y-Y-Your flesh will f-f-feel p-pain. Painpainpainpain. Like this T-T-Tony is feeling r-r-right now. His f-f-f-f-flesh melts. Away T-Tony g-g-g-goes. You'll l-l-lie in the c-c-c-c-casket. Your flesh dripping with b-b-blood. Bloodbloodblood. Feast time.
