It's an ordinary Saturday evening without much going on from the weather. The cabin in the middle of the woods near Elisha's cave, where Lacey Rex was staying, has a light on inside. Doctor Oliver Baker is sitting on a dark red couch in the living room. A low light lamp is on an end table by the left side of the couch, giving Dr. Baker a little light by him. He's smoking a pipe with McClelland 3 Cherry Tobacco. He's beginning to read the diary he picked up earlier in the day from Elisha's cave.
To keep Elisha's mind moving, while Dr. Baker picked his journal pad up, he left another one for him to continue. It's not known yet where the Doctor came from, if Eli had brought him in for Elisha on this special occasion, or if he's a part of the Congregation. He had yet to be known outside Elisha and Eli.
He's an elder man. Probably in his 60's or so. Grey-white hair and mostly bald. He had a trimmed white goatee and some stubble around his face. He takes his glasses off his face for a moment and wipes away some sweat from his forehead, and lifts his head up to look at the clock far in the corner. By this small observation, he only uses his glasses to read up close.
Dr. Baker's attention goes back to Elisha's notebook. His facial expressions show a person who is struggling with what he's reading and may not have all the answers one would like to have, especially in his profession. Much of what's on the notebook paper is a bunch of scribble, like what a young child would write with crayons for a birthday card. As Dr. Baker stares at each page for a long period of time, he's able to make out most of the words or understand the thought Elisha is trying to get across.
Dr. Baker places his laptop on his legs, while the notepad sits beside him on the couch armrest. He starts to type out what Elisha's words are and the message he''s trying to convey.
To Eli James IV. This is Dr. Oliver Baker. Elisha's words do not make a complete sentence, or thought sometimes. Therefore, after reading all his writings in this notebook, I will give my interpretation as to what I believe my client, Elisha, is saying. His actual writings will be marked in red. After reading, I urge you to contact me with your final thoughts.
Page One
ERIC. Underneath. Dirtdirt-d-d-dirt is on top. Eli. Eli. E-E-E-Eli say life words. Has hole. A-A-Air comes in. Doesn't want suffocate. He's nice. I'm n-n-n-not. Monster I am. Barn. OBEY! OBEY! OBEY! Over and over. Overoveroverover. Pain with reason. S-S-S-Sebastian Duke mentioned Eric's n-n-name. Brought memories that were gone. Who is evil? Evilevilevilgoodgoodgood. My mind spinning. Eli leads us good. He friends with King and L-L-L-LUCA. Lucalucalucamadison. They d-drink. We can't. Rules Eli gives to help. Strengthen the soulsoulsoul-s-soul. Barn no go back. OBEY!
My thoughts on the matter, or interpretation:
Elisha believes the other side of him, the one Eli James sacrificed a number of weeks ago, is still alive. Possibly Eli, or whomever worked with Elisha at this barn, thought they got rid of all traces of anything that had to do with the man Eric Rex. Apparently, when Sebastian Duke challenged Elisha and Mystica for the Tag Team Belts and mentioned Eric Rex and not Elisha, it brought some of the old Eric Rex back. This could be the reason why Elisha was pinned and defeated that night. Eric cared about money, and seemed fixed on destroying Wallace Witasick and Knightmask. Without either man involved, or money, then the real Eric Rex may not care much about the outcome of a match.
He seems fixed on the words 'barn' and 'obey'. They look to be associated with each other somehow. He seems to be okay with obeying, but not so much returning to the barn.
A sensitive monster is what I am sensing, which opposes the darkness he seemed to witness at the barn. He's having trouble distinguishing between the old Eric Rex, the more compassionate Eric Rex, or the monster Elisha. He's being torn all sorts of ways. His mind is still young where he can be persuaded, but seems to hold a strong bond to Eli.
He's unsure what is good and evil. There's too many questions running circles in his mind and had yet to grasp any strong foundation. He notices John Madison and Luca Arzegotti drinking a lot and partying, while those who are with Eli are absent from some of those things.
In my honest opinion, he is still unstable. He's incapable of really deciding for himself right now and depends on the young child, Lacey Rex, as his guide. He holds a stronger bond to the young girl than Eli or anyone else. I'm going to have to dig deeper into their relationship to find out why the strong bond. There must be some underlining cause as to why.
Back at Elisha's cave, there are cameras setup without his knowing around and inside his home. He's sitting in the darkness at the edge of the entrance to his cave. You can barely make out who it is, but able to see the dark red mask thanks to the moonlight reflection. In one hand, he's holding a squirrel eating it like a chicken drumstick, and the other hand he holds the baby doll named Lacey.
"M-M-Mommy come back. D-D-Darkness is peace. Tony send me t-t-there? Casket. Coffin. I-I-I-I see r-r-r-r-remption. Redemptionredemptionredemption. AH! Sssssacrifice for m-m-mommy. I sorry to M-M-Mystica. S-S-S-Should I tell I ssssorry? Mommy?
Elisha throws the finished squirrel out in the woods and places the doll in front of him. He squeezes the doll with both hands as he looks at it with his dark eyes. He speaks normal as if the doll was speaking to Elisha and starts having a conversation with 'himself'.
"Elisha. Son, you have to behave yourself around certain people. Dr. Baker wants to help you, so please listen to him. Eli wants you to. Remember? Obey? It's a part of who you are now. "B-B-BUT ERIC? HE AROUND! "No, Elisha. Deep down you'd like for Eric Rex to still be around, but he's not. You want to be normal like everyone else, but you're not. You're different. You were created, transformed to be different, honey. You are a unique creature. A monster that can change everything around him. "I-I-I-I-I-I "Hush, sweety. You can help Eli. You are not just a friend of his, you're a brother! "E-E-E-E-Eric had no bbbrother before. Fun? "ERIC DOESN'T EXIST! Stop it! Eric Rex died several weeks ago because he needed to. He was an evil man, Elisha. He wanted to kill us. He wanted to let you stay in the shadow of his ego and never come to the surface. Let go of him, Knightmask, Wallace, The Academi, and everything associated with that evil person. You are here now, son. You are the walking darkness, the prophet of doom, the voice preparing the way. Start by placing Tony Santos in a casket match with nails, honey. You have a chance to show yourself to the world who you are, and NOT ERIC REX!
Elisha drops the doll to the ground and starts rocking back and forh, mumbling nonsense again.
