Defeat, bitter and grotesque, is still defeat. Whether you lose fair and square or by some fluke doesn't matter at the end of the day. The fact remains that you've still been defeated. The stats don't care about the details of your loss - it only matters that you lost. So, the 'yeah but' is just a pointless way to comfort yourself in the doldrums of defeat.
