Match One
Standard Singles Match
Nathaniel Dixon vs Raion Kido

Slowly, the lighting inside the arena dims until there is only darkness. The steady playing of guitars begins to resonate throughout and draws the attention of the fans. The vocals of Chris Daughtry set the mood with “Heavy is The Crown” by Daughtry.

“Never needed any reason
To find deliverance…”

A red spotlight shines on the entrance stage and reveals Nathaniel Dixon. It reflects off the Hybrid rEvolution Iron Heart and the Splat Network MultiUniversal Championships wrapped around his waist. His fan reception is a mixture of cheers and boos, but there is a newfound respect for him.

“Like a cancer running through my veins, oh.
That's never going to give in…”

Your Lord of Charisma chuckles softly and saunters his way toward the rings. When a few fans reach out, Nathaniel actually tags them and makes his way around the battle arena, the spotlight following him with every step he takes. His earth-colored eyes are focused on the ring itself.

Ring Announcer: Entering first from San Diego, California, standing at 6 foot 1 inch and weighing 175 lbs...He is "Your Lord of Charisma"....NATHANIEL DIXON!!!!!!!!!

“See them march like lambs to the slaughter,
Toy soldiers lined up on the altar!”

Nathaniel ascends the steel steps, enters the ring between the ropes, and he gauges the fans. A smile forms across his face before the spotlight goes out.

“I was never meant to drink that water,
And they'll remember me when I'm underground. . .”

The fans stir in anticipation as red pyros shoot from all four corners of the ring! The normal lighting returns and Nathaniel takes a bow in the center of the ring with a confident smirk. Detaching the belts from around his waist, he raises them up high to showcase his hard work and dedication. Recognition and respect surround him and he is glowing with gold.

“Heavy is the crown!
Never falter, never let them bleed you out!
I'll be still standing when thеy try to bring my castle down!
I'll never bow down, hеavy is the crown!

Heavy is the crown, heavy is the crown. (Oh!)
Heavy is the crown!”

The arena lights turn gold as the intro of “Soldier Dream” by ROOT FIVE hits the PA.

Ring Announcer “And now, standing tall at 6'0" and weighing in at 227 lbs., from Osaka, Japan, “The Lion”... RAIOOOOOOOOOOON… KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”

Raion Kido appears on stage, letting out a lion’s roar.

“Saint Seiyaaa! (Seiyaaa!)
Mezasu kiboo no iro wa
Kedakai hodo utsukushii…”

Raion spreads his arms and breaks into a bird run towards the ring, slapping the fans’ hands along the way. He slides into the ring on his belly and springs into his feet.

“Saint Seiyaaa! (Seiyaaa!)
Tsubasa wa ten wo kakeru
Erabareta moushigo no you niiiiiiiiiiiiiii!”

DING DING DING

Both men came together in a COLLAR AND ELBOW TIE-UP! Kido drops to one knee with Dixon putting most of the force into that. Holding him down for a moment, Kido would struggle but started to fight back. Pushing back against Kido, he started to rise, both men still locked up. It was Dixion turn to drop to a knee as Kido got to a vertical base. Dixion pushed up against once more, rising up as he did. Struggling, both men would thrust their arms down and break the hold. Instantly they snapped to it again and Kido quickly dropped his arm and turned, placing Dixion in a SIDE HEADLOCK Wrenching deeply, nearly causing Dixion to come to a full crouch before rising up. Dixon pushed against Kido and forced him to the ropes. Kido turned and Dixon brought both of his arms up to push against Kido chest pressing him into the ropes. The ref came in to count right beside them.

FOU-

Dixon rose his hands up and slowly he moved back. His hand moved to tap Kido on the chest as he backed up slightly.

SMACK!

Dixon let loose a hard right hand across Kido's chest. Causing Kido to flinch a little but Kido kept his composure and fired back with a chop of his own that sent Dixon staggering back. They both then look at each other with a smirk as they reposition in the middle of the ring. Once again they met with a COLLAR AND ELBOW TIE UP! Dixion being the one to snatch in a SIDE HEADLOCK this time!  Kido didn’t push Dixion to the ropes. Instead, both arms moved around Dixions waist in an attempt to lift him up. Dixion kicked out his legs and thrusted them down to prevent that, coming down with a stomp of both feet on the ground, still, he held onto Kidos head. Instead, Kido took this chance to force himself backward, coming around Dixions back with a turn, grabbing both of his arms, and falling back with a DOUBLE ARM ARM-DRAG. Both men rose up quickly to their feet turning towards one another.

Theo Pryce: Fast-Paced action out the gate but so far Kido and Dixon are evenly matched.

Denzel Porter: They know each other so well.

Mister Big Ticket: Both are going to have to dig deep in their bag if they want to win this one.

Kido was the first to grab Dixion into a SIDE HEADLOCK but not for long! Quickly he snapped around and lowered, his legs trapping Dixion to have him trip forward in a SPINNING DROP TOE HOLD. Getting to a knee he rose and moved to give Dixion a GROUNDED HAMMERLOCK! Spinning around to make sure he was towards Dixions head, he started to raise him to his feet. Yet with one arm behind him, Dixion charged with Kido towards the ropes. Quickly Kido rotated before they got there, driving Dixion into the ropes and thrusting a forearm into his chin. Pushing him back, one arm wrenched the one behind him. The ref coming to count as Dixion would struggle.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Kido let go as he obeys the referee slowly stepping back with his arms letting go of Dixion and removing his forearm.

Theo Pryce: One thing about Kido, he has alaot of pride and honor as he's never tries to over step with the rules.

SMACK!

Mister Big Ticket: Payback!

Kido gives Dixion a taste of his own medicine as he sends a thunderous chip across his chest. Dixion swung with a LEFT ARM CLOTHESLINE but Kido brought both his arms up to block it. Shoving Dixion into the ropes once more, he pulled him out with a STRONG IRISH WHIP across the ring! Following up behind him Kido slid into a DROP DOWN, Dixion stepping over him on the rebound. Kido popped up to his feet and went to the middle of the ring where he went for a LEAPFROG with Dixion returning. Kido ducked back into a backward roll, and Dixion was charging forward TIGER ROLLING through Kidos legs as he back-rolled. Both men got to their feet and charged one another. Kido side-stepping Dixion but, in the process got his left arm caught by the running Dixion. Bounding up, Dixion lept from the canvas to the top rope sitting on it! BACKFLIPPING off of it onto his feet with Kido arm still in his other one, he pulled Kido  towards him into a JAPANESE ARM DRAG!

Theo Pryce: Beautiful transition by Dixon.

Denzel Porter: This has been an excellent opener to Grand Awakening!

Mister Big Ticket: These two definitely bringing the exciting action in the opening night.

Kido hit the canvas and his legs instantly shot up around the head of Dixion. Pulling him down onto the canvas as well but was the one who sat up and pulled those legs into a 4 position. He even added pressure by pulling back on his ankle on the one that was curled around Dixions neck adding pressure. Dixon had no choice but to start to turn his body. Slowly moving into a kneeling position before Kido, Dixion pushed up. Kido leaned back onto his shoulders but he kept that leg vice around Dixion head. The ref went to count.

ONE!

TWO!

Kido thrusted his shoulders up, both arms moving around Dixon's arms now, his legs releasing but moving around Dixon waist. Pulling himself up while using him unmoving moment placing Dixon in a BUTTERFLY LOCK. Dixon had to go into a DEEP crouch to not fall back and be helpless in this submission from Kido. Dixon gritted his teeth and started to rise up. Both arms moving together and pull his hands free. Instead, Kido slid his legs out from around Dixon and stood, one arm moved up and he placed Dixon in a FRONT FACE LOCK!

Theo Pryce: Now Kido showing off right now, these two are putting on a technical classic.

Mister Big Ticket: One of the many reasons the fans were looking forward to this match.

Dixon quickly pulled back towards the ropes to hook a leg. He knew how quickly Kido was able to drop someone with a DDT. He wasn’t looking to fall to it at all this match if he was able to avoid it. Still, Kido didn’t let go of the hold. So while on the ropes Dixion turned and Kido back was to the rope. It was Dixion turn to pull himself free from the lock and send a FOREARM across Kidos jaw! Pushing him back into the ropes with one arm, he shot him off across the ring with an IRISH WHIP. Chasing behind him to go into a DROP DOWN, Kido stepped over him and continued his run. Dixon got to his feet and chased behind Kido meeting him with a LEAP FROG in the middle of the ring. Kido spun–

HIGH DROP

Rising up to his feet he moved around to circle towards . Quickly Dixion thrust a foot up! The curve of his foot hit Kido in the forehead as Dixion went into a backroll. Once he stood one arm went to hook around Kido quickly turning into an ARM DRAG! Quickly moving to him, he rubbed his chest but moved to grab one of Kido's arms. The other came down to crisscross to hoist Kido onto his feet. Dixon let go pushing against Kidos chest and he stepped forward!

OVERHAND CHOP!

Mister Big Ticket: You can hear that one in the nose bleed.

Kido grabbed at his chest and Dixin grabbed his arm. Pulling it loose he unleashed another OVERHAND CHOP, bounding for the ropes right after. Stepping onto the second rope be bounded up onto the ropes. The crowd can see Kido counting, he knew how many bounces Dixion went usually for a Armdrag. Dixon bounced to the second and to the third. Kido thrusted his leg up to the third rope as Dixon suddenly slipped on the second rope and lost his balance.

Denzel Porter: That one mistake could be all Kido needed.

Kido hits a double foot stomp to the chest of Dixon and then quickly picks him up to deliver a spinning back fist and then a thrust kick to the chest of Dixon that sends him into the ropes as Dixon comes back towards him, Kido hits him with the LIGHTNING BOLT": Heart Punch (Mean Mark Callous) and Kido fall right on top of him and hooks both legs as the referee gets position.

Theo Pryce: Great win for the former XWF Universal Champion!

Denzel Porter: Raion Kido continues to be an impressive pro wrestler who is knocking on the door of legendary status, I can't wait to see what's next for this young man.

The referee raises the arm of Kido in victory and then Kido goes to help Dixion up and gives him a hand shake and then they raise their arms together as the fans give them a round of applauds.

Match Two
Standard Singles Match
Mac Bane vs Todrick Ramsey

As the first chords of “The Enemy” by Godsmack begin to play, the big Texan is out on the stage, accompanied by Kat Jones and the crowd erupts. He is attired in all black, leather duster, trunks, cowboy hat and boots. He stares downward as the pyro erupts behind him and on both sides. The lights go out and then a single spotlight shines on him.

Ring Announcer: Making his way to the ring, from Port Arthur, Texas, he weighs in at 280lbs, I give you Mac Bane!!!!!

He raises his head up to a more natural position and then looks to the sky. He raises both arms in the “Hook’em Horns” fashion and then snaps his arms back down by his side as pyro erupts from the ring post. He nods his head along with the music as he continues down the ramp with Kat by his side and finally to the ring steps, he pauses there briefly as he stares out an enthusiastic crowd. He wipes his feet on the ring apron before finally entering the ring.

The Show Stealerz new theme starts and Austin and Todrick step out onto the stage. Austin has on white gear with his signature New York Yankees red baseball cap. He has on white trunks with a red triangle on the front and sides. A black fist is shown breaking through bricks with red flames behind it. He has the same logo on his kick pads and on the black boots before the toe area. He twirls his bat in a circle on his right side. She spins around, and the words Austin’s Wife are in big letters on her back in fairwater script with beautiful rhinestones adorning the outside of the letters. The crowd gets louder at this reveal. She turns around, and her thigh-high black boots have the same logo on them at the knee area and also above the toe area. Her blond hair is laid with finger waves, and her make-up is flawless.

Ring Announcer: Making her way to the ring, from Miami, FL, she weighs in at 187 lbs, I give you The Empress of Tomorrow Todrick Tabor-Ramsey!!!!!!

Austin grabs her hand and her hips sway back and forth to the beat of the music. Austin walks to the ropes and sits down on the second rope as he gingerly takes his hand, and she reminds the crowd why Candice Page has nicknamed her “The Cutie With The Booty.” Austin takes her hand and leads her to the center of the ring, where he slowly spins her and pulls her in for a kiss. This sets the arena ablaze with deafening noise.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

The bell has rang as Mac Bane charges in on Toddrick Ramsey, Toddrick leapfrogs over the big man and connects with a Spinning Heelkick to Mac Bane after he has turned around. Causing the big man to stagger into the corner as Toddrick follows it up with a series of forearms driven into the midsection of Mac Bane. Toddrick sets up Mac for an Irish Whip, but Mac reverses it and drops Toddrick with a massive short arm clothesline.

Denzel Porter: Good Grief!!! That was a mean clothesline!!!

Theo Pryce: I am sure that Mac has got much more mean things on his mind.

Big Ticket: I suggest you turn off the television if you have a weak heart folks!!!

Mac grabs Todrick by the arm and drives a series of elbows into the shoulder  blade of Ramsey before locking the arm in a standing arm wrench. Toddrick desperately tries to reach for the ropes only to get an elbow driven into the area between his shoulder and neck region. Mac then turns his offense to putting a nerve claw upon the shoulder region and tries to put as much of pressure on the nerve region of Todrick as the official is asking whether he wished to give up as Todrick refuses.

Theo Pryce: That nerve hold is painful enough, but to have a powerful man like Mac Bane sinking those powerful claws of his must be even more painful!!!

We see Todrick slowly get back to one knee, driving a few elbows into the midsection of Mac Bane in an attempt to loosen the painful grip that he has on him. After a few more elbows he manages to get to his feet and break the grip from Mac Bane as he runs to the ropes. Only to be leveled by a big time boot from the big bully

Denzel Porter:  Good Grief!!!!

Mac Bane immediately continues his onslaught, stomping away at the side of Todrick's neck before dropping a mighty elbow across his throat before going for the cover

1!!!

2!!!

Todrick manages to kick out as Mac Bane follows it up by wrapping his powerful arm across the head of Todrick in a reverse chin lock. Putting all of his weight across the back and neck of Todrick while talking trash into the ear of his opponent.

Big Ticket: Great strategy from the more powerful Mac Bane, grounding the more agile and faster Todrick Ramsey

Todrick reaches his arms towards the air, feeding upon the cheers from the fans as he starts to shake his leg before slowly trying to mount a comeback as he slowly manages to get to a knee. He drives a few elbows into the midsection of Mac before dropping backwards all of the sudden as Mac lets go and strikes him with a boot to the face. This causes Mac to shake off the sudden impact as he is temporarily dazed as Toddrick manages to get to his feet. He then runs to the ropes and comes off the ropes with a leg drop across the back of Mac’s neck before executing a standing Moonsault on top of the big powerhouse and hooks both legs

1!!!

2!!!

Mac bench presses the smaller Todrick off of him before slowly trying to sit up, Todrick doesn’t waste any moment as he charges into the ropes and comes off with a running knee. he then grabs both of Mac’s legs and spreads them wide before both legs across his midsection before rolling backwards and connects with another running knee to Mac Bane who slowly sat up due to the pain he was feeling across his midsection and thigh area. This drops Mac backwards before Todrick hooks both legs and goes for another pinfall attempt

1!!!

2!!!

The….

Mac manages to get a shoulder off the canvas, clearly in pain and discomfort as Todrick puts the boots to him in anger for all that he had gone through ever since losing the WGWF tag team titles as well as witnessing Mac’s brutal attack on Austin. Mac pushes Todrick off of him, but cannot prevent Todrick from getting on top of him and once again hits him with stiff punches before Mac suddenly grabs him by the throat with one of his big ham hogs and chokes the life out of him while trying to get back to his feet.

Theo Pryce: Todrick better keep this big fellow down!!!!

Todrick continues to punch away at Mac to no avail as Mac seemingly is absorbing every blow before getting to his feet. He then sets Toddrick up for a double handed Chokeslam and drops Toddrick before going for the cover

1!!!

2!!!

Thre….

Todrick gets a shoulder off the canvas, only to irritate Mac Bane even more as he wraps him in a Bulldog Headlock submission hold. Squeezing the life out of Toddrick, who is desperately trying to get out of the hold. Only to have Mac follow it up by driving consecutive series of elbows to the neck and shoulder region in an attempt to either make Toddrick tap out to the pain or force him to tap out due to the pain he is enduring

Big Ticket: I told you that Mac would do anything to win this match!!!

He then puts Todrick back in the Bulldog Choke submission hold and squeezes the life out of his body as the official is checking on Todrick. Grabbing his arm and watching it fall down immediately.

Theo Pryce: I think this may be over for Todrick!!!

The official raises the arm a second time and it drops again, he grabs the arm for the third time and this time we see Todrick’s arm stay in the air. His index finger is shaking from left to right as if to tell that he hasn’t been beaten yet to the shock of Mac Bane. We see Toddrick slowly getting back into the match as he drives a knee into the face of Mac as that breaks the hold. Mac staggers backwards as Toddrick runs towards him, ducks a clothesline from Mac Bane as he comes off the ropes and hits Mac with a Springboard clothesline that staggers Mac into the corner closest to him. Toddrick immediately grabs Mac by the head and jumps off the middle rope for a big time DDT out of the corner before hooking his right leg for the corner

1!!!

2!!!

Thre….

Mac manages to get his shoulder off the canvas just in time before the official could count to three. Toddrick can’t believe that he couldn’t put the big man down with that explosive DDT. Toddrick shakes it off, gets back to his feet and rubs his feet across the eyes of Mac Bane before running towards the ropes and comes off the ropes with a Moonsault on top of the knees that Mac Bane managed to get up in time before the intended impact. Todrick is rolling around the ring as Mac slowly gets to his feet, waving to the crowd that he has enough and is going to finish Todrick off.

Mac grabs Todrick by the head, lifts it between his legs before going for a Buckle Bomb in the corner before lifting him up once again and drops him in the middle of the ring with an ordinary Powerbomb before hooking both legs and goes for the cover

Ding! Ding! Ding!!

Ring Announcer: The winner of this match by pin fall...MAC BANE!!!

Denzel Porter: Great win by Mac Bane here!

SEGMENT

Denzel Porter: Well would you look at that...

The camera pans over to the front row where we see an arena usher escorting IIW Forever Champions The Gangsters of Christ along with their father Michael to their seats in the front row.

Mister Big Ticket: With the IIW closing down the Gangsters of Christ found themselves as the biggest tag team to hit Free Agency in some time. Any idea where they might land Mr. Breaking News?

Denzel Porter: Well my sources tell me that the G.O.C. have met with several promotions both big and small over the last week but they have yet to put pen to paper.

Theo Pryce: Given how many different promotions are being recognized tonight there is sure to be a plethora of top officials here for the G.O.C. to meet with if they want to engage in some one stop shopping.

Mister Big Ticket: Well Theo as one of the owners of the XWF will you or Vinnie Lane be meeting with them?

Theo Pryce: Maybe...maybe we already did. Whose to really say?

The Gangsters of Christ take their seats as the lights start to dim for the co-main event of Night One.

Co-Main Event
Standard Singles Match
ALIAS vs Matt Knox

Theo Pryce: It's time for the Co-Main Event as XWF and all-around pro wrestling  Legend ALIAS takes on the Legendary Icon of pro wrestling Matthew The Raven Knox!!!!

Mister Big Ticket: This is going to be a historic match-up between these two.

Denzel Porter: This match-up has never happened before and I don't know if we will ever get it again, so enjoy this moment people while we can.

ALIAS walks out to no music and just makes his way down the ramp before sliding into the ring and taking his spot in the corner.

Ring Announcer: I give you ALIAS!!!!

Theo Pryce: ALIAS has never been one to care much about theatrics.

The house lights cut out, a single Raven cries out soon joined by another, then another until the cries of an entire unkindness fill the house sound system, soon broken by "Hell Broke Luce" by Tom Waits cutting through, the house lights coming up to a dull blue as a single white strobe light pulses in time to the song's percussion. Standing in the middle of that pulsing light, back to the ring, stands Matthew Knox adorned in his ring gear and a sleeveless hoodie. Arms outstretched like a bird in flight he pivots on a heel and begins making his way to the ring,

Ring Announcer: Making his way to the ring, from Baltimore, MD by way of Monterey, CA, he weighs in at 244 lbs I give you MATTHEW THE RAVEN KNOX!!!!!

Sliding under the bottom rope and picking a corner to charge and leap upon to scream the audience into a frenzy. He takes a lap around the ring, before kneeling in a corner and patiently waiting for the ring bell to sound.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

The atmosphere in the arena is electric as the crowd roars in anticipation for the impending clash between ALIAS and Matt Knox. The two wrestlers stand in the center of the ring, eyeing each other with intensity. The referee signals for the bell to ring, and the match begins.

Denzel Porter: You can cut the tension with a knife in here.

Mister Big Ticket: This is a battle between two Icons.

ALIAS wastes no time, lunging forward with a low blow right off the bat, catching Knox off guard drawing a boo from the crowd as Knox doubles over in pain. Taking advantage of the situation, ALIAS follows up with a deliberate eye rake, further disorienting Knox as the referee admonishes him for the use of underhanded tactics. ALIAS doesn’t even acknowledge it and instead seizes the moment, grabbing Knox's head and delivering a precise DDT that echoes through the arena. ALIAS goes for a quick early cover but doesn’t even get a one-count before Knox kicks out, a look of anger and frustration on his face, as his nostrils flare.

He quickly regains his footing and retaliates with a series of various martial arts kicks that find their marks. He cracks ALIAS with a cross-hook combination before fluidly shifting to a spinning backfist and finishes with a well-placed spinning back kick that finds its target directly into ALIAS’s midriff. The impact leaves ALIAS staggering. Knox charges in but ALIAS manages to counter with a monkey flip, using his agility to throw Knox across the ring. ALIAS then immediately runs and grabs Knox into a flying bulldog, driving his head into the canvas. ALIAS again goes for another pinfall attempt but Knox, defiant, doesn’t even give him a nearfall.

He recovers and charges at ALIAS, grabbing him in a Muay Thai Plum. ALIAS manages to evade the full force of Knox’s subsequent knee strikes, but one connects with his side, causing him to wince in pain. Knox follows up with a double-arm DDT that leaves ALIAS planted face-first on the mat. He brings ALIAS back up and delivers a hard Exploder suplex, sending him hard into the corner before running straight at him and catches him with a high, Harley Race-style knee left, straight into the chest, neck and jaw.

Mister Big Ticket: That will rearrange your jawline.

Theo Pryce: ALIAS has always been deadly with his combinations.

The momentum soon shifts back though as ALIAS claws his way back into the match. He surprises Knox with a sudden choke, applying pressure to Knox's throat, his hand gripped around Knox’s trachea and he squeezes hard. The crowd watches in anticipation as Knox struggles to break free. But he wisely uses his educated feet to his advantage, delivering swift kicks to ALIAS's ribs, forcing him to release the hold before spinning and catching ALIAS on the temple with an outside spinning crescent kick before pulling ALIAS into a second double-arm DDT. Knox goes for a cover, hooking the leg and the referee is down to count:

One…..

Two…no!

Denzel Porter: Knox was ready to join the short list of competitors that were able to take down the Almighty ALIAS.

Theo Pryce: He is going to need a lot more in order to take down the XWF legend.

ALIAS kicks out and quickly recovers, managing to counter Knox’s attempt of a vertical suplex into a deep arm drag that he quickly follows up with a nerve hold as he tries to wear Knox down. ALIAS showcases his versatility with multiple forms of backbreakers, further weakening Knox's spine and exploiting his history of injuries. ALIAS transitions into the clawhold, applying pressure to Knox's skull. Knox, however, uses all of his years of in-ring experience as well as his size and strength ratio to maneuver and power out of the hold, pushing ALIAS off. He seizes the moment to execute another big Harley Race Knee that catches ALIAS off guard, stunning him momentarily. This allows Knox the opportunity to heave ALIAS across his shoulders into a fireman’s carry and rams his knee into his face with “Into the Void”. Knox goes for another cover but again, ALIAS kicks out, forcing the nearfall.

Denzel Porter: Back and forth they go.

As the match progresses, both wrestlers exchange blows, each countering the other's moves with skill and determination. Knox attempts his trademark Little Drop of Poison (Running Big Boot), but ALIAS ducks under the boot and responds with an electric chair drop that sends Knox crashing to the mat. ALIAS capitalizes and goes for the “Hand of God”, his open-hand slap landing squarely on Knox's face, stunning him and sending him to the mat and rolling out onto the floor. ALIAS then takes to the ropes and executes a Suicide Dive,  crashing into Knox on the outside.

Theo Pryce: Holy shit!

Mister Big: ALIAS took to the skies and dropped a bomb on Knox!

Once back in the ring, ALIAS shows his unpredictability with a running knee that connects with Knox's jaw. He goes for the cover, but Knox kicks out just in time, displaying his own refusal to quit. The match continues with numerous nearfalls, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.

Denzel Porter: Matt Knox showing he will not give up, he will not give in to ALIAS will!

Knox, determined to regain his momentum, rises to his feet.  He charges at ALIAS with a renewed vigor, attempting another series of rapid-fire martial arts kicks that find their mark on ALIAS's chest and abdomen. ALIAS absorbs the impact, his tolerance to pain allowing him to endure the punishing assault. ALIAS retaliates by countering one of Knox's kicks into a dragon screw drag, swiftly transitioning into a spinning toe hold that twists Knox's ankle at an unnatural angle. The pain is etched across Knox's face as ALIAS torques the hold, aiming to weaken Knox's lower body. Knox, however, refuses to stay down. He digs deep into his reservoir of strength and manages to kick ALIAS off, breaking free from the hold. With a roar, Knox charges at ALIAS, attempting a running knee strike. But ALIAS sidesteps at the last moment, causing Knox to crash into the turnbuckle with a resounding thud.

Theo Pryce: Knox going to need a rub down after that one.

Taking advantage, ALIAS unleashes a barrage of hard-hitting moves. He executes a Reverse DDT that drives the back of Knox's head into the canvas, followed by another straight-up chokehold, applying pressure to Knox's neck and throat in an attempt to further diminish his air supply. Knox, however, utilizes all of his 6ft6 frame to power out of the hold. He uses his strength to lift ALIAS off the mat and deliver a powerful overhead belly-to-belly suplex that sends ALIAS crashing onto his back. The impact reverberates throughout the ring, leaving ALIAS momentarily stunned.

Mister Big Ticket: Knox changing the momentum in this match.

Denzel Porter: Snapping ALIAS back into reality, this match is far from over.

With the match hanging in the balance, both wrestlers exchange blows once again. ALIAS surprises Knox with a second well-executed monkey flip, launching Knox through the air before plummeting onto the mat. ALIAS climbs the turnbuckle, positioning himself and launches off the ropes and connects with a beautifully-executed avalanche flying bulldog that leaves Knox dazed. Knox still refuses to be beaten though, and he can feel his temper rising now, often a double-edged sword, this time he doesn’t question it. He charges at ALIAS with a fierce look in his eyes, attempting another Muay Thai Plum. This time, every knee strike connects with precision, and ALIAS grimaces in pain as Knox's strikes find their mark. Knox follows up with a swift Deathrider DDT, driving ALIAS's skull into the mat. Knox makes the cover but ALIAS forces another nearfall. Both wrestlers are now visibly fatigued, their bodies bearing the marks of the intense battle they've been engaged in.

Theo Pryce: These two having given it their all, pushed each other's body to their breaking point.
Denzel Porter: This one is going to come down to who wants it more, who can dig down deep and pull out the win.

The back-and-forth nature of the match continues, with ALIAS and Knox countering each other's moves with calculated precision. Knox attempts Into the Void (Go To Sleep), aiming to put ALIAS down for the count. But ALIAS manages to slip out of Knox's grasp, landing on his feet.

ALIAS capitalizes on the opportunity, launching into a sudden and brutal low blow that catches Knox completely off guard. The crowd's collective boos echo through the arena as Knox crumples to the mat, writhing in agony and the referee again tells him off, warning that another infraction will result in a disqualification. Again, ALIAS ignores him and takes a moment to catch his breath before executing a picture-perfect pendulum backbreaker, slamming Knox's spine against his knee. ALIAS goes for the pinfall, the referee's hand descending for the count. However, Knox manages to kick out just before the three-count.

Mister Big Ticket: ALIAS can't believe it!

Theo Pryce: Neither can I or these fans in attendance.

Denzel Porter: The look on the faces of everyone in here is priceless, Jaws dropped everywhere, and everyone thought it was over.

Knox suddenly attempts to hook in The Murder (Katahajime) but ALIAS’s tolerance for pain allows him to summon enough strength to battle out of it and out of nowhere delivers the Fatality  close-range uppercut that leaves Knox reeling. ALIAS takes advantage, hooking Knox in The Dream (Rear-Naked Choke). He wraps his arms around Knox's neck and tightens the hold, his fingers digging into Knox's windpipe. The crowd watches with bated breath as Knox's face begins to turn red, then blue, as the lack of oxygen takes its toll. Knox's extensive injury history becomes apparent as his body weakens, and he struggles to break free from ALIAS's vice-like grip. The referee's concern is palpable as he watches Knox's condition deteriorate. ALIAS pours every ounce of his strength into the hold as he hooks in a body scissors now as well, preventing Knox from using his size to escape.

Denzel Porter: ALIAS doing whatever it takes now, and Knox looks like his past injuries are catching up on him.

Despite the excruciating pain and the blue hue of his face, Knox refuses to tap out. His eyes are filled with a stubborn resolve as he shakes his head, signaling his determination to fight on. The audience watches in awe and admiration as Knox's sheer willpower keeps him in the match, even as his body starts to falter. The referee is faced with a difficult decision as Knox's condition worsens. Knox’s eyes begin to roll into the back of his head and the referee finally makes the call – he signals for the bell, declaring ALIAS the winner by submission.

DING DING DING

Ring Announcer - The winner of this match by submission...ALIAS!!!

WINNER - ALIAS

Denzel Porter: The referee has called for the bell, Knox never tapped but the referee became concerned for his well being.

Theo Pryce: Despite the decision, ALIAS adds another impressive Icon to his list of names that have fallen at his hands. Raises his hand in victory.

Medical comes down by ringside and rolls Knox out the ring as they give him medical attention while ALIAS stands in the ring with his hand raised in victory as the referee

MAIN EVENT
Standard Singles Match
SEB vs Johnny Bacchus

Theo Pryce: Tonight has been amazing, we've seen some great matchups with even better endings but now it's time for the Night One Main Event and I got to tell you as great as tonight has been already, this match-up between SEB and Bacchus is going to be the cherry on top.

Mister Big Ticket: These two mega stars have been compared to each other for a long time, both reaching the mountain of success wherever they step foot, but when they take the ring only one will be able to be successful tonight.

Denzel Porter: This main event is a Big Fight match, you got two of the very best of this generation about to go head to head and not for Championship gold or to settle a long-time blood feud, but to simply see who is the better competitor of the two, who is the more superior talent? Well in just a few minutes we will have the answer to that question.

The lights in the arena dip to black in time with the sirens and beat to the opening of Sweatpants (BattleTapes Remix) by Childish Gambino, the lights then beginning to flash, alternating left and right onto the ramp. In time, the letters "S", "E", "B", and then "Empire" flash one at a time on the big screen until the lights stop flashing as the lyrics hit.

"She askin' “Why you say that?!”

The beat drops and the lights flash on the rampway again. As they do, the screen illuminates with "SEB'' and then "EMPIRE" flashing on the screen.

"Rich kid asshole, paint me as a villain"

Sebastian Everett-Bryce flings his arms wide, staring up with his head covered by the hood of his jacket. He stands in the middle of the ramp, the lights beating down on him, before looking out at the crowd. He wears a long jacket with the hood pulled up over his head, zipped to the waist. The jacket, which is cut away at the bottom and only runs down the back of his legs, is patterned with an elongated Union Flag, but it’s in black and white and appears to be cracked and broken. His tights are short, with the initials SEB emblazoned upon the front.

The lights lift, and SEB makes his way to the ring, stretching his neck from side to side as he walks, his eyes focused on the ring. He climbs up the steps and steps through the ropes before standing in the middle of the ring.

Ring Announcer: Making his way to the ring at 238 lbs, he is The Sophisticated Suplex Machine and the reigning UGWC Chaos Champion, Sebastian Everett-Bryce III!!!!!

"I'm winning', yeah, yeah, I'm winning' (What?)

Rich kid, asshole, paint me as a villain"

He extends his arms once more before pulling back his hood and removing his jacket to reveal the back of his tights which read “S.E.B”

"Don't be mad cause I'm doing me better than you doing you

Better than you doing you, fuck it, what you gon' do? (What?!)"

He flashes his arms out to a side, a satisfied and somewhat sneery grin upon his face, he holds the position for a moment, to allow the crowd to take pictures, before moving towards his corner.

Theo Pryce: The UGWC Chaos Champion SEB looks impressive and focused as ever for this. I'm a big fan of this guy I have to be honest.

The camera focuses on the stage as the lights cut and “Limits” by Bad Omens begins to play over the P.A.  The guitar and drums play distant and muffled as white lights flash like sparks around the floor, before a tom hit and pause bring the lights flashing up in bright white.  A name appears on the tron: “The Rascal King” Jonathan Bacchus.

The crowd gives an appreciative pop as the out from behind the curtain walks Jonathan Bacchus, dressed in all black with a peacoat over a turtleneck and combat pants bloused into his Louboutin sneakers.  He wears a white Thalia mask over his face, his hair hanging down over the top.  He marches down deliberately, his eyes on the ring.  On the ramp, he removes the Thalia mask and flicks it casually over his shoulder into the crowd.

Ring Announcer: Making his way to the ring, from Oakland, California and weighing in at 205 lbs… he is “The Rascal King” – JONATHAN!  BACCHUS!

At the base of the ring, Bacchus turns to the stairs and climbs them to the turnbuckle.  With a single clean vault, he launches himself over the top rope and turns to land on the middle rope inside the ring, his peacoat seeming not to hamper his movement.  As his theme song explodes into the chorus, he throws his head back and arms out, the lights flashing bright white and the audience roaring appreciatively!  A smile creeps over his face as he looks down at them, and he takes a moment to blow a few kisses to nobody in particular.

He removes his peacoat and drops it to the outside before pulling his turtleneck over his head.  He whips this into the crowd before dropping down to the mat, circling the ring before taking back to his corner and reclining in it.

Mister Big Ticket: Bacchus has his game face on and is ready to go to war as if his life depended on it.

Denzel Porter: You can feel the electricity in the air for this one,

DING DING DING

The two men lock eyes, the tension is palpable, and the bell rings. SEB takes a step forward, his gaze never leaving Johnny who entices him forward, motioning with his hands to come at him. SEB doesn’t need an invitation and lunges forward but Johnny is quicker than a hiccup, seamlessly avoiding SEB’s outstretched arms with finesse. As SEB turns around, Johnny peppers him with leg kicks to the shins and thighs, altering legs and positions, darting around the ring like a circus flea to keep SEB guessing. Johnny mixes it up, adding punches and increasing the height of his kicks to SEB’s midsection, kidneys, back and chest. SEB grunts, more in discomfort and annoyance rather than pain. However the speed and precision of the strikes begins to disorient him, forcing him to cover up, his perception being diluted. Johnny finishes his impressive flurry of strikes with a running step-up Enziguri that catches SEB on the temple which stuns him for a moment. The kick doesn’t quite knock SEB down but he falls to one knee.

Theo Pryce: Fast pace action right out the gate!

Mister Big Ticket: We thought this was going to be a slow-paced start-up, but these two have decided to come out guns blazing.

Denzel Porter: I expected nothing less from these two stars.

Johnny takes immediate advantage, not wasting a second and shoots off the ropes quickly and grabs SEB around the head and neck and oscillates into a swinging neck breaker. Johnny goes for an early cover and the referee is down to count:

One….

Theo Pryce: Not nearly enough damage to keep down a competitor of his caliber.

Tw-No, SEB powers out with authority, tilting his neck from side-to-side. Johnny goes back on the offensive, looking to build on his early advantage. But SEB quickly regains his composure and catches Johnny coming in, delivering a hard roundhouse kick that rocks him. SEB immediately pulls him into a front-face lock and spikes him with a Flatliner DDT. SEB athletically kips up to his feet and pulls Johnny back up and proceeds to nail him with a trifecta of suplexes one after the other - he takes Johnny’s back, nailing him with a high-angle German suplex, keeping a grip of Johnny’s waist and shifting into a teardrop back suplex. SEB finishes off the suplex chain with a sleeper suplex that sends Johnny flying overhead and landing awkwardly on his head and neck. SEB floats into a cover:

One……

Two….

but Johnny still has the presence of mind to force his own near fall. His eyes widen momentarily before he shuts them tightly, his face contorted in a painful grimace as he tries to shake off the cobwebs from SEB’s trilogy of hard suplexes. SEB pulls Johnny aggressively back to a vertical base and takes a step to the side, measuring him for a superkick but Johnny has the wherewithal to spot it out of his peripheral vision and manages to sidestep the kick and runs the ropes behind SEB, coming back with a well-timed chop block that brings SEB down to one knee, forcing grunt of pain to escape his lips. Johnny comes back again, grabbing SEB from behind the head and plants him face-first with a running Bulldog. Johnny then transitions smoothly into a triangle choke, applying pressure to SEB's neck, torquing back on it, pulling his arm in tight whilst securing the leg scissors around SEB’s head and shoulders. SEB struggles against the submission hold for a moment, his face reddening with effort but with a sudden burst of strength, he manages to power out of the triangle choke, pulling himself to his feet, Johnny still wrapped around him tenaciously, hanging on for dear life. SEB powerbombs Johnny down but he still doesn’t relinquish the hold.

Denzel Porter: S.E.B. is clearly a man on a mission here tonight!

SEB manages to adjust the arm that Johnny is gripped onto for the triangle choke and wraps it around Johnny’s neck in a modified front-face lock. He hooks his free hand around the inside of one of Johnny's legs and hits an audacious variant of a PerfectPlex. He doesn’t bother with the bridge as he quickly gets back to his feet. His eyes narrow and steps towards Johnny, nailing him up underneath the chin with a hard superkick that staggers Johnny, forcing him into the ropes, dazed. As he comes back off the ropes, still a bit disoriented from the superkick, SEB nails him with a pinpoint roundhouse one-two roundhouse combo, nailing him in the midsection before re-chambering his leg perfectly and slamming the top of his foot straight into Johnny’s face that topples him. SEB then forcefully pulls Johnny back to his feet by gripping the back of his pants and plants him with a perfect half-nelson suplex before floating into a pinning combination and the referee’s hand hits the mat:

One…

Two….

Mister Big Ticket: This time it's SEB looking to put things away.

Denzel Porter: SEB thought he had used enough damage to put Johnny down, but now he realizes it's gonna take alot more if he plans on walking out with the win.

But again, Johnny throws his shoulder off the mat resiliently, Undeterred, Johnny fights to his feet, determination etched across his face. He lunges at SEB, attempting to catch him off-balance with a springboard spear. But SEB anticipates the move and sidesteps at the last moment, causing Johnny to crash into the turnbuckle. SEB takes advantage of Johnny's vulnerability, grabbing him and launching into a series of suplexes that leave the crowd in awe. First of all, he snatches him around the waist and delivers a hard belly-to-belly but keeps a grip around Johnny’s torso. He spins around into a rear waist lock and adjusts his arms into a full-nelson and delivers a snap dragon suplex, slamming the back of Johnny’s head on the mat. Finally, he maintains the rear waist lock position and delivers a half-nelson suplex. SEB can’t make a cover though as the momentum sends Johnny careening into the ropes.

As Johnny struggles to regain his footing, SEB seizes the opportunity and lifts him into a seated position on one of the turnbuckles. He then climbs up behind him, perching on the top rope and delivers a spine-jarring “Markham Missile”. As Johnny groggily staggers to his feet, SEB doesn’t waste a second, transitioning immediately into a moonsault diving headbutt.

But Johnny isn't one to back down easily. With sheer determination, he fights through the pain and launches into a relentless series of counterattacks. He lands a tornado DDT that sends SEB crashing to the mat as he clutches the top of his head in pain. Johnny follows up with “Fetch The Guillotine” as he hits his variation of a Slingblade. Feeling like he’s getting a second wind, Johnny's technical prowess continues to shine as he executes a well-placed shotgun dropkick into SEB’s chest just as he’s getting to his feet. Johnny’s in-ring IQ is definitely coming to the forefront as he looks to keep SEB second-guessing and on the defensive after suffering a barrage of moves from his bigger opponent earlier in the match. Johnny continues to take the initiative, closing the distance with a swift dodge and duck combination that catches SEB off-guard. He follows up with a rapid succession of leg kicks, targeting SEB's midsection.

Theo Pryce: Johnny unloading with vicious kick.

Mister Big Ticket: If Johnny keeps this up he can really do some damage to the ribs and cause SEB to keep his guard down, leaving him open for more upper-body attacks.

Denzel Porter: Great analysis by Ticket, I strongly agree.

SEB winces with each strike, feeling the impact of Johnny's kicks against his abdomen. But he's not one to stay on the defensive for long. With a determined expression, SEB counters Johnny's onslaught with a sudden superkick that catches Johnny by surprise, and he stumbles, temporarily losing his footing. Seizing the opportunity, SEB takes control of the match once again. He grabs Johnny's arm and executes a perfectly executed ripcord DDT, immediately transitioning into a kip-up to maintain his momentum. SEB transitions seamlessly into a sequence of suplexes, showcasing his love for the move that has become his trademark, hitting Dos Amigos but Johnny fights to escape the chain of suplexes, using his technical prowess to twist his body and counter each attempt. He manages to break free after enduring two suplexes  and creates some distance between himself and SEB with another shotgun dropkick to the solar plexus. Breathing heavily, Johnny assesses the situation, his mind racing with potential strategies. He knows he can't outmuscle SEB, but he can outwit him.

With a cunning smile, Johnny darts forward, attempting to catch SEB off-guard with a headlock takedown. But SEB anticipates the move and blocks Johnny's attempt, shifting his weight to maintain his balance. The two wrestlers engage in a brief grappling exchange, their bodies moving fluidly as they vie for control.  Knowing he can’t outpower SEB, Johnny spots an opening and transitions smoothly into a second triangle choke of the night, his legs locking around SEB's neck and wrapping around one another for extra grip. The crowd holds its breath as SEB struggles against the submission hold, his face contorting with effort. Johnny applies pressure with precision, using his intelligence to strategically weaken SEB's defenses. Summoning his reserves of strength, SEB manages to power out of the triangle choke for the second successive time, breaking Johnny's grip and creating enough distance to roll away. As both competitors rise to their feet, the energy in the arena reaches a fever pitch.

Theo Pryce: The energy in this arena is unreal.

Mister Big Ticket: These competitors have pushed each other to their limits.

Denzel Porter: That they have but in order to walk away as the winner they'll have to reach a lot more deeper.

Johnny's eyes glint with determination as he sizes up SEB and as he comes at him, Johnny springs forward, launching into a spectacular springboard spear that sends SEB crashing back down, SEB groans in pain as he slumps to the mat, clutching at his ribs and midriff. Johnny capitalizes on SEB's temporary vulnerability. He ascends the turnbuckle, positioning himself for a high-risk maneuver. With a leap of faith, Johnny soars through the air, executing "The Great Leap Forward"—a Coast 2 Coast move that leaves the crowd in awe. But just as Johnny is about to make contact, SEB displays his incredible agility and delivers a devastating Empire Kick that catches Johnny square in the face.

The impact is thunderous, and Johnny's body crumples in midair. The crowd gasps in shock as Johnny collapses to the mat, his body twitching from the force of the Empire Kick, a “Holy Shit” chant ringing out. SEB goes for a cover, leaning back and hooking Johnny’s leg deeply and the referee is down, his handing striking the mat:

One….

Thre-NO!

Johnny’s ring awareness allows him to place the toe of one of his boots on the bottom rope which the referee spots right as his hand is striking the mat for the three-count. SEB stands up, chest heaving and a look of frustration on his face. He hauls Johnny up and lifts him, positioning him on his shoulder before shuffling him into a downward-facing position and he spikes him emphatically with the “Excuse Me” Sit-out Tombstone Piledriver, the top of Johnny’s head cannoning off the mat with a sickening thud! SEB sits on Johnny’s chest, reaching back and pulling one of his legs in and the referee counts again:

One…

Thr-

Denzel Porter: What?! Incredulously, Johnny kicks out at 2.999 and SEB can’t quite believe it!

Theo Pryce: I thought it was all over!

Denzel Porter: Johnny giving the whole arena a panic attack with that last second kick out!

His hands are on his head and looks at the ref in utter disbelief. He holds up three fingers to the referee and slaps his hand three times but the referee insistently holds up to and motions with his own shoulder that Johnny kicked out. SEB sighs in frustration, shaking his head before climbing to his feet. He snatches Johnny up and wraps his arms around his neck with “The People’s G.S.H.O.A.T). However Johnny's resilience shines through as he summons his remaining strength to back up towards the corner, athletically running up the individual turnbuckles and maneuvers his way out of the sleeper hold, landing on his feet directly behind SEB. He lands a shotgun dropkick that sends SEB face-first into the turnbuckle and he slumps down. Johnny senses an opening and takes a step-back, measuring SEB and goes for “The Bottom of Everything” Running V-Trigger but incredibly, SEB commando rolls out of the way at the last second, sending Johnny crashing into the corner. SEB runs the ropes, keeping the momentum up  and he leaps into the air, foot outstretched and it smashes straight into Johnny’s face, sending him into the corner. As he staggers back, SEB nails a second devastating Empire Kick. The momentum of the second kick sends Johnny bouncing up into a half-seated position and, relentlessly, SEB comes charging in again, obliterating him with a third explosive Empire Kick, completely flattening Johnny. The impact is bone-jarring, and Johnny's body goes limp as he collapses to the mat. SEB goes for the pin, The referee's hand slaps the mat:

DING DING DING!!

The bell rings as Sweatpants (BattleTapes Remix) by Childish Gambino plays throughout the arena.

Ring Announcer: The winner of this bout, Sebastian Everett-Bryce!

WINNER - SEBASTIAN EVERETT BRYCE!!!

Theo Pryce: HOLY SHIT WHAT A FINISH!!!!

Mister Big Ticket: A PHOEMINAL ENDING!!!

Denzel Porter: SEBASTIAN EVERETT-BRYCE WITH A GRAND FINALE PERFORMANCE.

SEB stands up, arm raised aloft in victory. As the adrenaline of the battle begins to fade, SEB stares down at Johnny coming to, looking dazed and out of it. SEB approaches him, standing over his defeated opponent.

Theo Pryce: SEB got the win but even in defeat I don't look at Johnny as a loser, he came into this match to show the world that he is that guy and he proved it.

Mister Big Ticket: He was already a big name with rare talent but for those who doubted if he could hang with the best of them I believe he shut that narrative up tonight.

Denzel Porter: Johnny put on a breathtaking performance that is inspirational.

Johnny looks up at him and SEB holds out his hand. After a moment of contemplation, Johnny extends his own and SEB pulls Johnny up to his feet and the two shake hands. No words are spoken as the two competitors stare at each other, their silence speaking volumes as they acknowledge each other.

Denzel Porter: You love to see two highly competitive talents able to show each other a sign of respect after a grueling battle like this one.

SEB nods his head to Johnny who reciprocates before SEB points at Johnny and takes his leave of the ring, holding his arm up in victory again.

Theo Pryce: Tonight was incredible and I'm happy to have been part of it.

Mister Big Ticket: A lot of moments I will never forget and lucky for us we have another night to take us on a roller coaster of emotions.

Denzel Porter: Night One has given us a great jumpstart to a two-day event, and if you enjoyed Night One as much as we did I promise you tomorrow Night is going to give you that same thrill, so tune in tomorrow for Night Two of Grand Awakening.
