THE LAST MAGICIAN
SALLY TALFOURD

Wrestler's Real Name: Sean-yeong Kwon

Wrestler Age (Date of Birth): 37 (9/6/1985)

Height: 5' 11"

Weight: 140 lbs

Hometown: Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea

Alignment (Face? Heel? Antihero?): Face

Pic Base: Bae Suzy

Backstory/Important Character Details: Sally is the Last Magician - a wonder to behold and a force to grapple with. While at times she might seem demure, when the mood takes hold and the love and positivity of the moment set in, she's a changed women. Bright eyes and broad smiles are the gateway to her self-confidence, her mission and her Magic. She always tries to see the good in people, even when she knows they're not all that good. This can lead to problems every now and then, but she's not given up that optimistic view of the world. She is, after all, the last of her kind. Most importantly though, Sally arrives at XWF for one reason only: Jason Cashe. No aspirations for belts or restarting her career. She is here to get back in the ring with Cashe one last time.

Strengths: Sally knows wrestling in-and-out. If her opponent knows a hold, she probably knows a counter. If the opponent takes a match to the mat, she’s a better chance of winning than losing. Time, experience, and dedication to the art of wrestling have placed her at the peak of the sport even with time away.

Weaknesses: Sally is in the latter years (maybe last years) of her career, and so the youth and vitality that propelled her to her former heights have escaped her. She carries the wear-and-tear that her wrestling style brings naturally – her knees are held together by strings. Compounding the issues is her wilful ignorance of all this wherein pushes herself further than she can or should. When a match goes too long, her body will let her down. And, as is her time-honoured tradition, she will never break the rules. Never. No weapons, no shortcuts, no cutting corners. By the book, all the times.

Entrance Theme Music (Provide YouTube link as well as name and version): ‘Troublemaker’ by Troublemaker (HyunA and Hyunseung)

Ring Entrance:

A the buzz of the crowd falls as the lights fade down and everyone finds themselves in darkness. After a moment of nothing, there's the crackling of an old recording, and then a voice:

"Ladies and Gentlemen!"
"Your act at this time!"

The stage screens begin to flick to life with an old reel of film showing various clips of magicians performing, shots of crowds smiling and laughing, point and wondering. All, of course, in silence.

"Sights of wonder and amazement!"
"A spectacle that will confound and amuse your mind!"

The stage screens continue to flicker with the images of an era bygone. The final clip comes to focus on a figure standing alone on a stage, the back to the screen, obscured by the shadows.

"Ladies and Gentlemen!"
"The Last Magician!"

There's a pause, and then the beginning of ‘Troublemaker’ by Troublemaker comes across the PA, the whistling first cutting through the silence then drowned out by the fans’ cheers. The screens up the stage area still show the silhouette of a lone person standing in the shadows.  Then, mirroring that shot, a sole spotlight fades in at the top of the ramp, and we find 'The Last Magician' Sally Talfourd with her back to the arena. The crowd gets louder and then, as the music kicks in, Sally turns to face the crowd, her arms outstretched and her head bowed to everyone.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way to the ring, 'The Last Magician' .......... Sally Talfourd!

Sally lowers her arms, raises her head, and makes her way down the ramp. Fans rush to the railings. She makes a direct line to the ring, pulling herself up to apron, looks around to the fans before she steps in, coming through the ropes loosening her wrists. Sally laps the ring as the arena returns to normal, then takes up position across the ring, stretching her legs on the ropes and readying herself for the ring.

In-Ring Style (Technician? High Flyer?): Technical Wrestling - Sally is all about wearing the opponent down and making it look fun! She will pick a spot and work it over in the match to create a weak link. Finally, she uses her assets to her advantage, favouring leg-based offence in her action. All the while, she's having fun: Doing it all with a smile.

Favorite Hardcore Attacks/Spots: None - Sally abhors hardcore matches, and like matches where the rules have been thrown out the window.

Additional Notes: Sally’s default setting is the babyface fan favourite; in the business and in the ring for the fans at all time. They're (the fans) the reason she steps into the ring because of the love she has for the business and for those that want to watch her. She fights for what's right, ensuring that she's fighting the good fight all of the time. Sometimes she might take it a little too far - be too caught up in the adoration, be too caught up in the positivity of the moment - but that's to be expected, right? When you love the fans, and they love you, it's like the universe is giving you a big hug.
