Backstory/Important Character Details:
John grew up in a small Texas town that had a local wrestling promotion that his mother ran the books for. When John was old enough to carry equipment he was put to work carrying the talent's boots and building the ring before shows. Before long, as is tradition for any good-size young man in Texas, John began playing football and wrestling took a backseat. Fast forward to John's freshman year at Texas Christian University; he blew out his knee and needed reconstructive surgery. John's football days were over and he went home...
Upon arriving home his mother told him to get a job and start a new chapter in life and the most obvious was with the old wrestling promotion in town. As soon as John walked into the door of the main office he was ushered into the training facility to start learning the trade; he had the look but he needed the polish to take bumps and talk to a crowd... This was the beginning of Johnny Blacksnake...
Johnny has moved on from the local scene and is ready for the big time in the XWF...
Strengths: He's big, he's mean, he can talk, he can scheme, he's a snake that you'll never see coming.
Weaknesses: He doesn't do teams. He doesn't have allies. He goes it alone. He also has a reconstructed knee that tends to ache when there is bad weather on the horizon or someone puts him in a leglock of any kind.
Entrance Theme Music (Provide YouTube link as well as name and version):
Metallica - Master of Puppets Intro - original video 1986
Ring Entrance (PLEASE write one out for use in match/show writing):
The lights go dark and then the opening riff of Metallica's Master of Puppets screams from the loudspeakers as the lights flash on and off the X-Tron with each strum of the electric guitar. As the drums come in the Blacksnake appears at the top of the ramp, walking down the middle of the aisle with no reaction to the fans at ringside. As he gets to the ring apron, Johnny takes a brief look around the arena and then slowly slides under the bottom rope and into the ring.
In-Ring Style (Technician? High Flyer?): Powerhouse with cheap heel tricks
10 or More Standard Moves:
Spinebuster, DDT, German Suplex, Leaping Shoulder Block, Chest Slap/Chops, Lariat, Texas Cloverleaf Submission, Flying Clothesline(if downed opponent gets up before finisher), Big Boot, Bear Hug, Piledriver, Sleeper Hold
Trademark Move Name(s): Snakeplex
Description(s): Facebuster Suplex after LOUD backhand chops
Finishing Move Name(s): Medusa's Revenge

Additional Notes (What are some things that they would ALWAYS do? Or would NEVER do?): Johnny Blacksnake will always offer to join a team and he will always betray the team for his own gain. Johnny is always willing to cheat to win and he'll point out how pathetic it was that his opponent didn't see it coming. Johnny will never be redeemed; he's not a good guy and never intends to be because good guys don't get the belt. Johnny always tries to hurt his opponents simply because a hurt opponent is less likely to get any payback further down the line. Johnny likes to leave a lasting impression on his opponents so whenever they think of Johnny they also think of their disfigured nose or the limp they still have years later.
