The crowd greeting Officer Tiborovski-Law and former Commissioner Bartholomew Lichter was larger than many expected, but smaller than either of them had hoped. After all, T-Law's performance in the Thanksgiving Battle Royal should have raised the eyebrows of everyone watching, and “Boots” Lichter is set to make his wrestling debut this week after being “cancelled”. The two of them expected to receive a heroes welcome, but instead, it was a smattering of support.

“Hello people of New Hampshire!”

Lichter greets the small crowd that has gathered outside the Whittemore Center, which is set to host this week’s edition of X-Treme Wrestling Federation’s show, Thursday Night Anarchy. Despite only competing in a grand total of one wrestling match, members of the crowd are already showing off the new merch made by the team. Some folks are wearing a dark blue shirt with the words “Let’s Go Bartholomew” written in white lettering, surrounded by stars, while others are wearing white shirts with an American flag on them. A line of blue replaces a line of white in the flag, and the words “We Support T-Law" in black letters overtop of it. Lichter stands in front of the crowd, flashing a smile with his overly large, incredibly white teeth, while O. Bay T-Law stands with his arms crossed behind him, acting like a bodyguard.

“It is so wonderful to see you all here on this chilly afternoon. You know, I spoke with the owners of the venue, and they say this is the first time any professional wrestlers have ever been greeted by a crowd outside the building! We are making history today people!”

Lichter smiles to the crowd who cheers, unaware if that fact is even remotely true or not.

“Tomorrow night, in this very building, the XWF will be experiencing the first match in what is sure to be a historic career of our tag team. We are here because we have been called to serve you, the people, and deliver for you something you have not seen before. Too long as this industry been corrupted by the elitists who run these corporations – all of whom allow debauchery and derogations to be shown, uncensored, to an audience that includes impressionable children. We are here, not just to fight the evil folks within these organizations, but the Godless communists at the very top!”

The crowd cheers again, before chanting “Boots! Boots!”, much to the delight of Lichter. T-Law, meanwhile, continues to stand with no emotion and no movement.

“Our opponents this week, Mr. Oswald and Mr. Watts, are just the first in a line of immoral professional wrestlers who will be punished for their crimes against decency. These two men are emblematic of the current attack on our First Amendment rights. They are strong and powerful, and they will attempt to bully us in the ring, much like so many others attempt to bully decent human beings into thinking and acting a certain way, but we will not let them! There comes a time when you must stand up and fight against people who may be stronger and more powerful than you, and that time is now!”

The crowd cheers as Lichter smiles again. He steps to the side as O. Bay T-Law walks up beside him.

“They say money is the root of all evil. Never before has that been more true than what we see in our opponents this week. Oswald Autem Sephtis, otherwise known as “Money” Oswald, is very rich, and with that money, he is able to do whatever he likes. Oswald thinks that rules and laws no longer apply to him, but the arm of the law comes down on everyone sooner or later. This week, we send the message to all the children, and all the hardworking men and women of America, that money cannot buy happiness. It cannot buy your way out of society. You still must be held accountable for your actions, and if the elite won’t police themselves, then it is on us to do it for them.”

The crowd cheers and begins chanting “T-Law! T-Law!” Lichter raises his arm and waves to the crowd and the two walk into the building, with the crowd still chanting behind them. As soon as they step through the glass doors into the building, Lichter sternly turns to T-Law.

"Make sure every single one of those people either return their merch or pay for it before they leave. We’re not handing out welfare checks here.”

“I have it already taken care of. Jeff collected the money before we ever handed out the t-shirts. He also brought in a large box of stuff to sell tomorrow night, but I’m still getting push back from Vinnie Lane, saying we can’t sell them at the store until we hand over the merchandise rights.”

“Fuck him. We’ll sell it in the parking lot. Put Jeff out there in a truck. Surrounded it with American flags and Trump signs, and these morons will start throwing their money at us. They’ll throw even more when we win. Did you make sure you packed the stun gun?”

“Absolutely. It will be in the turnbuckle pads before we step out of the back. We’re in the first match, so I’ll just make sure to tuck it in there first thing in the morning, and we will be good to go.”

“Let’s go make ourselves some fucking money.”
