New to XWF or a returning roster member?: Brand spanking new
Wrestler Date of Birth: 7/7/85
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 225
Hometown: Los Angeles, CA
Personality: Pretty mellow, but can be vicious when he wants to be. Not one to mess around, joke around. When in the arena and specially in the ring, he's all business. He is a loyal friend, if he trusts you, you are in, but good luck getting past that wall.
Looks Description: Well built, a few tattoos, shaves his head bald, no facial hair. In the ring: he wears black calf high wrestling boots with green accents and the letters XL on the outside also in green, black wrestling trunks with the word "venom" across the back in green in a bold font. Black knee pads and elbow pads. Outside the ring you'll usually catch him in regular jeans, biker style boots and plain t-shirts with a biker leather jacket on but will wear the nice spiffy suit if the occasion calls for it.
Ethnicity: Mixed
Pic Base, if any: Maven Huffman
Strengths: Great brawler/high flyer. Excellent in fast paced matches and loves hardcore/x-treme matches.
Weaknesses: Not a fan of the slow pace matches, Greco-Roman style of wrestling. Doesn't like to be grounded.
Entrance Theme Music: "The Infection" by Disturbed
Special Entrance (if any):
The lights in the building start to flicker, matching the opening riffs and drums of Disturbed's 'The Infection'. After the intro, a brief pyro explosion goes off in the entrance and as lyrics of the song begin, Xavier Lux steps out from behind the smoke left by the pyro. He stands there sporting his finest black and green gear and a black CCPE T-shirt. He looks around at the crowd who give him a mix reaction, not knowing which "Venom" is going to show up tonight. He focuses on those that do cheer, and even try to fight the boos with a brief “Venom! Venom!” chant. He smirks before making his way down the ramp, keeping his focus on the ring. Once he gets to ringside, he hops on the apron, wiping his boots, showing his respect to the canvas where he is about to practice his craft. He then gets inside and makes his way to the corner, climbs to the second turnbuckle and again just looks around at the crowd who is still giving him a mix reaction. He takes off his CCPE T-shirt, and acknowledges a fan here and there and picks one whom he tosses the t-shirt too. He then hops down from the ring, checks in with the ref and then gets ready for the match as his music dies down.
5 or More Commonly Used, Standard Moves: hard to put it in this format, see below:
Beginning of match:
Standard arms drags, hip tosses to get advantage but does not like doing wear down holds. He is all about throwing the guy around, jumping around him and striking with fists, elbows and, forearms, no kicks.
Body slams
Snap Suplex
Whips to corner followed by running European uppercuts or splashes.
Middle of the match:
Hurricanrana’s, standing in front of opponent or off the ropes/corner.
Head scissors to the outside followed by an over the top rope flipping pescado unto opponent or similar dives.
Middle of the match is when he switches gears with kicks: Enziguri kick, Pele kick and Penalty kicks are his favorite.
Towards the end:
Pulls out the big highflying moves: Shooting Star Press. Frogsplash elbow and/or top rope hurricanrana.
Trademark Move(s): The Toxin
Description(s): - Whip to corner followed by picture perfect drop kick to jaw that leaves opponent very dazed, this is the set-up to his finisher.
Finishing Move(s): The Cure
Description(s): DVD off the top turnbuckle. If opponent is too large for him, then a standard DVD as opponent stumbles out of the corner after the drop kick. Please make sure is the classic DVD where he really cradles and drives opponent's head to the mat with all his body weight and not the BS shoulder toss that most wrestlers do now-a-days.
Favorite Hardcore Attacks/Spots: For the high-flying moves above, he uses them with a chair, not leaving it on the opponent but taking the chair with him and using it this way to make a bigger impact.
Additional notes: Need a backstory/current story:
Before his recent stints in OCW and GCWA, the last time Xavier was in a wrestling match that mattered was 11 years ago in a place called: “New Legends of Wrestling”. If you weren’t around at that time or never heard of NLW, then you probably have never heard of him.
In the 3-year span of his NLW career, he dealt with a lot inside and outside of the ring. Inside he won the World Heavyweight Championship in 3 separate occasions, was the Anarchy X champion briefly and won that federation’s prestigious “Path of Destiny” tournament in back to back years. Later in his career he joined a group called “FTF” lead by the owner of that federation, FTF stood for F**k The Fans. So, you can kind of guess what side he’s going to be leaning towards when he makes his debut here in TPW.
Outside of the ring though, it was a whole ‘nother story: he lived a life more violent than inside of a wrestling arena. He was raised by his single Mom, never having met his father until a few days before his wrestling debut: former OCW and ICWF great: Scorpion. Now if you think this was a regular ‘oh daddy finally came around’ type a story, it is; if the daddy that finally came around was trying to murder his one and only son. To be fair, until that time they met for the first time, neither knew of the other. With two guns pointed at him in front of his manager/Godfather and his mother, it was her that got in between the two and broke the news right there and then to both, hoping to save her son’s life. His father was a hired assassin you see, hired to kill him for putting in a comma the son of a big-time drug lord and cartel leader. Right after graduating wrestling school, he wrestled briefly underground and severely injured his one and only opponent. Right after the match he got the news he had been accepted to NLW and so he moved on; “The Don” didn’t however and thus sent the best assassin in his army after him. His father let him live that night, but for the months that followed he struggled between fatherhood and his mission. After a few failed murder attempts, either because of situation or because of mixed feelings, the father disappeared. The following year, the assassin re-appeared, sporting a mask this time and the murder attempts continued. This time the attempts were legit failing, and after one last failed murder attempt, the son had enough and chased after his father. In an epic showdown, he confronted, fought and ended up murdering him (in self-defense). However, when he went to remove the mask, the assassin was revealed to be not his father but the man he had put in a comma. With the news getting back to the Don of his son’s failure, Scorpion came back into the picture as he had been put on hold to give the Don’s son the ‘pleasure’ of terminating the contract. Throughout the rest of his career in NLW, he had to deal with numerous murder attempts from Scorpion, who had to fulfill that contract in order for him to finally be allowed to retire and live his life crime free. However, after being in denial for so long of having a son, he got a paternity test done from his own doctor that revealed he was the legitimate father. Because of this, he finally decided to end his pursuit of his son and instead declared war on The Don. Father and son parted ways, bitterly, for Scorpion, the story continued from there, we assume... We really don't know what happened after that, but for Xavier, the story ended; NLW closed and he didn’t really go anywhere else. After taking care of his mother, and his manager/Godfather retiring to spend time with his wife and daughter, he simply disappeared....
Until a year ago where he made his surprising return to the ring, tagging with the son of another former legend (in GCWA, The Punisher): Marcus Ka'Derrion. Together they formed the team called "Sins of the Fathers" and captured the tag team titles in two separate occasions. Sadly that federation closed it's doors earlier this year so Marcus and Xavier decided to go their separate ways. Xavier would join OCW where he would find success early, winning the OCW World title as well as two other minor titles. He was working his way back to earning a rematch for his World Title when that federation had one of, if not the weirdest meltdowns you will ever see and Xavier decided to walk away from them even while holding one of their championships.
Now after taking weeks to decide if he went back to retirement or not, he has decided to join XWF and test his might against what many consider the best fed in the world with the best talent.
