As the scene transitions into a nighttime shot of fhe Vatican city our narrator greets us with the following phrase.
“The thrill of the hunt.”
We cut to a zoomed-in shot to find Miss Fury running across the top of a building. She leaps off and silently takes down a guard below!
“The thrill of the kill.”
Miss Fury needlessly snaps his neck. The sound of the air leaving this man’s lungs for the last time brings a slight smile to her face for just a moment before she retreats to the shadows.
“Broken Oswald has stepped out from the shadows and revealed himself as the one true master behind BOB.”
Fury uses a grappling hook and begins to scale the Vatican.
“A man of limitless money and power. Anything that he wants he can already have at a snap of his fingers.”
Fury, now a few floors up, uses a special BOB laser that’s not available in stores to cut through the window to the Pope’s bedroom. Fury uses the hole that she created to silently unlock the window. She climbs in quiet as a mouse so as to not alarm anyone to her presence.
“So why does he financially back the pro wrestling criminal organization known as BOB?”
Fury creeps up next to the bed where Pope Jorge Mario Bergoglio is currently resting. She places her hand over his mouth, waking him into a muffled scream!
“Because sometimes it’s just fun to watch this woman work.”
With her hand firmly over The Pope’s mouth, Fury leans in close and whispers, “In 1684 the Vatican removed 14 books from the bible. I’m well aware of the church's official stance on this subject, but I warn you not to toy with me, else I promise you that everything you hold dear will burn.”
“They say that her heart is as cold as ice due to how uncaring and sociopathic she can seem at times.”
The Pope seems to spill the beans, not that we have audio to prove it.
“But if they knew the truth, they’d know that it actually…”
Fury smiles as she injects what looks like an EpiPen into the Pope’s neck.
“Burns with Fury.”
We open early morning, Miss Fury is sitting at a table in front of a small outdoor diner. Her cell phone rings, “I love Little Girls” is the ringtone. It’s apparent that this was originally Micheal Graves phone, much like the body was as well.
Thanks to the power of television magic, we the audience can hear the voice on the other side.
”I assume that it’s done?”
”Of course.”
”And the body?”
”Disposed of as you ordered.”
”Good good. And the books?”
”He claimed to know nothing until the bitter end.”
” A man of strong convictions…. Fury, one more question before I let you go. What is this Catholic rule change that I’m seeing in the news. Did I give the order to instill equality into Catholic church?”
” No sir, but I thought it would make a good test of the RoBOB Pope's ability to carry our directives.”
” Just a test then? So why would you have him allow women to serve as lectors and alters of all things? That doesn’t seem very “baddie” to me.”
There was a slight hesitation. Just enough for Oswald to catch that something was off.
” Perhaps not, but it’s an action subtle enough that nobody should question it and potentially blow your real plans.”
”Very well. I’ve booked a train to take you to Naples. It will depart at noon. Make sure that you are on it.”
”Yes sir.”
No goodbyes or formalities. The call just ends.
Miss Fury tucks her phone away before producing a small stack of old yellowed pages that look to have been torn from a book. The words are unclear, but it’s definitely not English. After a moment she tucks them back into her bag. As she gathers her things and leaves, the camera pulls back to reveal the real Jorge Mario Bergoglio alive and well.
“Make sure that you find your way onto that plane. I'll contact you when it's safe.”
She says to the distraught (former?) Pope before walking away.
The scene cuts to an unknown location where we see Miss Fury standing in front of a brick wall.
"January 20th, 2021. That date marks the BOB invasion of Warfare. The Wednesday Night Wrecking Machine Bobby Bourbon will be joined alongside of Miss Fury who now inhabits the female form of Micheal Graves and The Daddy Of Violence himself, Barney Green. Together we were set to team with, and later defeat The Left Hand, but for reasons still unknown to me, management decided to revise the card hours after it initially went live. A truly sad set of circumstances that will only prolong this "war" with the invading hand."
"But all is not lost. While the chance to work alongside of, study, and then defeat The Left Hand was booking decision that seemed too good to be true, there is still much that can be accomplished by facing off against the group of irrelevant nobodies from yesteryear billed only as "The XWF". If this is truly the best Warfare has to offer BOB, then we have nothing to worry about."
"Finn Kuhn? A man who left in disgrace after failing at his goals countless times? What makes him think that anything will be different this time around? You fell at the feet of Micheal Graves and you fell at the feet of Chris Chaos. In both instances, you ran headfirst into challenges that you were not prepared to rise to. Tell me, does that same lack of preparation still hamper your aspirations to this day?"
"Tommy Gunn? A man who hasn't been active in this company for ages, and wasn't much of a wrestler even when he was. Known primarily for his role as Vincent Lane's personal security early in his career as general manager, Tommy Gunn is nothing more than a psycho with a machine gun. On paper he seems like a perfect match for BOB, but in reality, we're already at our quota for BOB branded bullet sponges, hence HGH and Peter Gilmour being outed from the ranks before they even began. Tommy Gunn's potential value to BOB registers lower then either of them as he lacks the prestige that comes with Gilmour's many title reigns, or the excuse of being a wet nosed rookie as reasoning as to why he is essentially an unknown in the modern incarnation of the XWF."
"Finally, we have Griffen McAlister, pulling up the rear. A job that he is quite accustomed in the rare occasion that he grace the XWF with his presence. Out of all the men on this team, Griff is the only one to remain active through the years, albeit sparingly and usually to very little success. His last match? A loss to the spider closed out his 2020, and a loss to BOB is set to kick off his new year. Unlike Kuhn and Gunn though, this man appears to actually possess the ability to stand toe to toe with some of the biggest names in the XWF. Although he seems content in recent times to spend far too much time partnering with worms like Brian Storm that have no business in that ring. Unfortunately, it seems that this Warfare will be more of the same."
"Throughout 2020 I built up the ranks, adding names like Jenny Myst, Thunder Knuckles, and Bobby Bourbon as loyal BOBs all while I dominated over Anarchy, dethroning the brands most dominant champion in the process. Even as "The Banana-Lime Blur" fell, the rest of the XWF chose to ignore. Anarchy is often described as second rate show. The egos of the men and women who occupy the "main rosters" often have little interest in the goings on at Anarchy. This fact was not lost on me, in fact I have always viewed this as an advantage. Where else better to build an army without drawing attention? Other so called "supergroups" should take notes. Perhaps if The Left Hand wasn't so eager to make their mark, they could have assembled a team worthy of facing BOB, but as it stands now, they are all firmly within our crosshairs and when the dust settles on this war, The Left Hand will find themselves as irrelevant as "The XWF" team that's destined for failure next Wednesday night."
And with that we fade to the BOB logo!
