Inside of the XWF trainers office, we find Vita Valenteen who seems to be wrapping up some sort of evaluation of her knee in preparation for her title defense later this week.

"So what's the damage doc?"

"I must say that I'm quite surprised by the fact that you only suffered heavy bruising to your knee." He says as he scribbles something onto his clipboard.

"Yeah" She says with a slight giggle. "I guess Jenny's not as skilled at swinging pipe as she is at..." Catching herself, Vita decides not to finish that joke and set a poor example by picking on the inept.

Looking up from his clipboard, he asks, "At what?"

Vita tries not to laugh as she wonders how he doesn't know where she was going with that one.

"Nothing" She says after deciding to keep her immature thoughts to herself.

"Well that's not very funny. Don't quit your day job." He says with a cold delivery that makes one question whether he's joking or not.

"Um, speaking of?"

"While I think that it would be better for you to take a few weeks off to rest, I also don't see any reason not to medically clear you. Just know that if you aren't careful, you do risk further injuring yourself.

"I understand, but not defending this championship is not an option doc! There's no denying that I won it under questionable circumstances, and then last Anarchy Miss Fury forced me to tap in the middle of the ring." She looks to the doc, her eyes misting up. "I have to prove that I deserve it."

"Deserve what?"

"The championship simple!" She can't help but laugh through the tears. "I've made it my mission for so long to capture this title, only for it to land in my lap through chance, and now I... I just feel like everyone thinks I'm just keeping this belt warm for the inevitable Kenzi Grey match. I need to show them that I'm not just a transitional champion!"

Vita hops off of the examination table, slightly favoring her knee. She then strikes a pose like an anime character and points at the camera!

"I have to show them that I belong!"

"Why is there a camera in here!?"

Quietly in the background, XWF staff escort the doctor out of the room as the lighting dims and the shot focuses on our hero, Vita Valenteen!

"Heroes and villains. Good and bad. Right and wrong. Winners and..."

"No, not this time."

"Last week, BOB pulling their tricks, as they ALWAYS do, and that leads to them claiming yet another UNEARNED victory over the forces of good, but in the end it is exactly that, unearned. You see guys, it really doesn't prove anything when you can only win by blatantly cheating. Like sure, HOORAY! You guys are good at breaking the rules, you should be so proud, right?" She rolls her eyes as she scoffs at the thought. "Jenny Myst, even just saying her name gets my blood to boiling. She attacked me last Anarchy, as you know, and nearly took me out of the match, and I say NEARLY because she didn't frickin KILL ME, and that's about the only way any of you BOBies will ever stand a chance of taking me out!"

She looks at the Anarchy championship that's draped across her shoulder for a moment before looking back to the camera with a confident smirk.

"Jenny knows that to be fact, why do you think I'm defending this belt against Tula Keali'i and not her!? After what she did to me last week, don't you think I'd want to get my hands on that "Pink Pretender" as soon as I possibly could? No offense to Tula, she's worked her butt off over the past six months and totally EARNED this shot! Sure, some could make the argument that her winning percentage hasn't been the best as of late, but to those people, I'd say, so what?"

"Anyone can beat anyone on any given night, just look at Tyson vs Douglas, one of the most famous upsets of all time! Tyson was unstoppable back then, tearing through the heavyweight division and racking up wins, Douglas on the other hand already suffering 4 losses leading into that match, was very much the underdog, and you know what? A well-placed uppercut in the 10th round would lead to Buster Douglas claiming all three Heavyweight Boxing championships and becoming the Undisputed Champion of the world!"

"So yeah, records don't always count for everything. Sometimes you have to consider the heart behind the fighter. Tula has heart, and she has proven it each and every time that she's stepped into this ring! BOB has screwed her over time and time again. The entire time, offering her assistance if she were to join their little gang, a racket similar to the protection money racket, where the people offering you help are the same people causing the havoc in the first place!"

"No, Tula has proven that she belongs in this spot, and all that BOB has proven is that all they're capable of is cheating people out of what's earned!"

"And honestly, with as strongly as I'd like to get my hands on Jenny Myst, I'm kinda glad that I'm facing Tula this week. With the ongoing battle between good and evil each and every other week on Anarchy and all of the craziness that goes along with it, it’s kinda nice to know that I’ll be defending the Anarchy championship against an honorable competitor as opposed to the army of BOBies we usually face every week! I'm sure Tula is just as relieved, but don't mistake fair for easy! I promise you a match void of cheap shots, hidden weapons, and sneak attacks, but I also promise that at the end of the night, whoever walks away with the Anarchy championship will have 100% EARNED it!"

Vita begins to drift off in thought and slightly nods her head.

"That's all that matters."
