It has been reported that Evgeni 'RussianRose' Medved has suffered a very severe injury to his neck and back that may be career altering/ending. A source close to the XWF superstar says he is in serious but stable condition at a St. Petersburg, Russia hospital following an unsanctioned Russian Death Match.

RussianRose is all but officially ruled out of this years installment of WarGames after posting an impressive undefeated singles record in the XWF so far. He has also captured the XWF HeavyMetal Weight Title in his short time with the organization.

Following Team Cataclysm's weekend WarGames promos it appears that manager and brother of RussianRose will compete in place of the injured wrestler. Alexei Medved has not much wrestling experience. He wrestled at the Collegiate level but never professional.

Team Cataclysm is rumored to be holding a press conference later on in the week to address the injury and other topics. A source has said that the press conference will be used to officially unveil Alexei Medved as the replacement for his injured brother. Team Cataclysm will face off against Team at this year's WarGames.
