- A Promo For Thursday Night Anarchy -

For chaos, there is order. Darkness there is light, Night has its day and there is man for woman. While not always in direct contention of one another, the duality that exist between all things keeps us within the confines of physics and gives our moral compass it's magnetic north. No two things can occupy the same space and so dualism has us in constant competition for our turn in the spotlight. Good versus evil. A perpetual war of survival between the two sides of our little microcosm called XWF.

For months now the duality that feed the competitive spirit of the XWF had pumped high octane gas into the vehicles driving this product and for even longer had the ne'er do wells been the ones to make most profit. It goes without saying, 'the spooky kids' had run rough shot over this place. While not great for ratings or sponsors, the conflict these scoundrels bevied up had served its purpose and kept everyone in fighting shape. Kept everyone competitive. Kept them hungry.

it was absolutely glorious to behold. Perhaps a little crass and even distasteful at times, definitely sophomoric, but never dull. From the outside looking in she had watched, especially once Atara had joined. For months a keen and attentive eye was kept on this place. Osira had been very keen to join, but there was no need of her then. The Engineer had the monopoly on all the strife the XWF needed. They could say what they would, creation or not, it was his show and those who they supposed controlled the monster were blind to truth.

He had been god made flesh. A Superman made real and an utter disappointment at March Madness. The attack on her sister, deplorable. The weak sitcom trope, tie them together so they can't interfere. Let's Bond villian monologue while we are at it? Not the engineer she had watched from up on high. Suppose a plus was seeing Atara kick the shit out him...but whatevs.

The Engineer was gone and with him that illiberal and doctrinaire piece of work he called manager. The monolopy board had been cleared a player or two and Osira was ecstatic to take a seat at the table. Two matches in, two victories in, but the XWF had still yet to see what Osira was about. She had been quiet, hidden, from the undergrowth Osira had slithered and stalked prey. Getting a feel for the lay of the land, waiting to strike fully. Anarchy was the opportunity she had been waiting for and what better way for her to sow the seeds of discord than in the mayhem of a battle royal....

And so, it was that time of day when the XWF faithful entered the world wide web and rode the net to their favorite of sites. There for the most up to date news on all of the fights, and to their surprise, a video upload by another Themis hit their eyes.

Shifting from blackness to light the XWF logo appeared. A different aesthetic, but of little consequence as it would soon fade out and return their screens dark as night.

From the void a feminine voice would glissade into their ears. Coated thick in a Mediterranean accent, it was not as sultry and inviting as it's siblings but held an allure all the same. Youth was prevalent and so to was warning.

"Kallisti."

A single word in Greek. Not as remarkable as Hello Dove or ominous as The Afterthought or Final Fantasy, but a wrestler with no catch phrase is no wrestler at all. To the prettiest or for the fairest, the XWF would nterpret how they saw fit, but no desirable gift was intended.

Screens would illuminate once more and the most obscure and miniscule of objects would appear. An apple gold as Helios' sun engraved with the very word just spoken

Small and insignificant as it seemed, those who were literate beyond Penthouse Letters, far and few between here, would know the foreboding nature of such a symbol. Only bloodshed and woe came from a gift such as this.
Fade to black once more.

From the void of blank screens came Osira's portent and matronly tone, "ο βασιλιάς είναι νεκρός χαιρετίζει τον βασιλιά." Spoken in Greek, but she would repeat it once more and in the same manner in English. The King is Dead, Long Live the King.

"Tis often the lone king who's gilded head is soon found bare for destiny is unkind to hubris. Where a meretricious trophy is to be had fortune's favored lurk, avidity boiling the blood pumped by hearts desire. Unbound greed leads these hunters of crowns down the path of strife and where there is strife you will find discord," grandiloquent with her manner of speech, the English was rough but better that Hanari.

Flourescent pink now lit the void, a coiled and twisted body providing imagery for the viewers eyes and hissing for their ears.

"And where discord flourishes, you will find me. Me and all the children of Eris, all the woes of man, fangs bare and ready to strike. Ready to sink the poison of despair into those veins... Slender fingers came into the shot and with a mother's tenderness pet the pink behemoth on screens.

"Anarchy will soon be a fitting title my friends, I'm the things Pandora released and Aiwass, you're Engineer are now gone. The clock as started, win or lose some of you will be broken. Your King's can't not stop me, your god is dead."
