The media is out in full force following the conclusion of the epic Leap of Faith PPV. The company was still deconstructing it's massive set pieces the next day and just when the last of the post-match interviews and wrap-up commentary was THOUGHT to be complete, word was disseminated that the TV Champion Lux had something to say.

Lux stood in front of the deconstructed shell of the XWF set, phones, cameras and microphones splayed out before her. Her tone is neutral, but confident. She begins to speak.

I made it very clear what my intentions would be if Chris Page won the Universal Championship. As expected, that did not occur. Nonetheless, I stand here before you with 8 successful title defenses under my belt and over three months as champion. I'm also embarking on pursuing the tag team champions with Centurion, a decision that may have been surprising to many.

Lux pauses, taking stock of the media.

Another thing I was very clear about, was that me joining the XWF was not just some simple quest for glory, or some ego stroke. It's a barometer of my own personal readiness to do what I came to this era to do. Some of you may still think I'm full of shit. It doesn't matter to me. But it will matter to YOU. Because to truly prove that I'm ready for this massive undertaking, I still need to face the very best. So, to that end, I have still decided to cash in my Television Championship for a shot at the Universal Championship.

The media explodes into chatter and a flurry of questions. But Lux does not directly respond to any of them.

As of this moment, I am vacating the TV title to pursue this opportunity at a date and time that has yet to be determined. You will know more as soon as I do. That is all.

Lux abuptly departs as the media toss questions at her back, but she doesn't turn to address them or provide any further insight.
