"Thaddeus, I do not expect for you to come into Warfare, and for me to keep my title. You beat this vessel in our first match. You are the reason why my Broken Brilliance has come to light! However, I do expect to give you one hell of a fight. I do expect to make sure that this will be a match you will forever remember throughout space and time!

It may be time to shine, but believe me, Progeny of Duke, I am not going to be some simpleton you can so easily dismiss and dispatch with ease. As for the Championship of X-Treme, I don't know if it's silver or it could possibly be white-gold. Or it could be a mix of both white-gold and silver. If it is purely silver, then yes. Silver is the worst look for a Champion.

To your rebuttal of my thoughts on the subject of defenses.

No, I did not read it. Because the last time this vessel went after the belt, the rules were different, where it would be eight weeks and a couple defenses, you would receive your case. However, I plan on making it. I plan on winning this match, Brother Duke. I plan on continuing on. I plan on keeping the Championship of X-Treme and doing my best to win three more times after you. I plan on getting that briefcase. I plan on using that briefcase and attempting to win another championship. After I get my briefcase, you can pin me, get the title. This vessel already owns the longest reigning Championship of Hart record. I do not need a second. Nor do I have a desire to have it longer than need be. Once I win the briefcase I will gladly let myself be pinned. However this is a dream that this vessel has had since the beginning, since he came into the Ex Dubbayew Eff.

You are right though. This vessel has never had a long winning streak. This most it seems is three wins, then someone comes along and pins my vessel and the streak is over. However, I intend to break the streak of not having a longer streak. I plan to go further and beyond. I plan to win against you, and hopefully I get to win three more times after, and I achieve my vessel's dream, which has become mine own.

However, it would seem you are right about being denied your shot. If I had read correctly, you won that shot months ago, and Brother Scully should have been your opponent in the month of January. He must have acquired the ability to dodge challenges if it meant he didn't face you back then.

You speak of my Broken Brilliance being the next evolution and I say nay, good sir. This is not some simple evolution! This is something so very rare that evolution could not accomplish! To have one's Broken Brilliance come out, you require a being that transcended and revealed itself through its trauma! Mmyesss... In order to have your own Broken Brilliance to come to the light, you need my powers, you need my abilities. In the same manner I can tell when your soul was born and can tell you your soul's many vessels; I can unlock the Broken Brilliance within and allow you too to become Broken as I am!

Brother Duke, I intend to show you what this vessel and I can do. I intend to show you the extent of my abilities. I intend on winning, even through the adversity before me, knowing that the skill of Brother Sebastian Duke's genes resides in you, Brother Thaddeus Duke. I know what your father is capable of, and thus, I know what you are capable of. Because in most cases, second generations tend to do the greatest things. Look at Meek Mahan's company, where Or-ton has vastly surpassed his father, the Cowboy Bob Orton. Look at the son of the man known in kayfabe as Irwin R. Schyster, or as he really known, Mike Rotunda. His son, Windham Rotunda or as most know him as Bray Wyatt. He has become the Heavyweight Champion of the Dubbayew Dubbayew Ee World. His father never held such highly lauded a championship belt.

With you, Brother Duke, I can sense great potential within you. However, I must do whatever I must so that I can keep you from winning this title from me.

And, Brother Duke, you showed you wished to befriend me. If it was only my vessel in charge, then he would have said "No. Fuck off." However, I have control. I will for some time. So I accept your friendship!

If I keep the Championship of X-Treme, then I will cash in my tag team Championship opportunity, and we can team together, Brother Duke.

Win or lose, either of us will be the X-Treme Champion. Win or lose, we will get a tag team opportunity.

What do you say?"

May 14th 1993

Broken Oswald watched over the memories of his younger self. He still wore his suit from the meeting the day before. In his pocket was a thousand left from the two thousand his father gifted him the day he died. Oswald's feet hurt him as he walked, since his shoes were not made for travel on any kind of rough terrain. He wasn't sure which way he had traveled, and he rarely slept. However, he soon realized that he had traveled seventeen hours, reaching Kenosha, north of Chicago. There, he'd see The Spot Drive-In. He moved as quick as his aching feet could manage, and he'd order a double cheeseburger with bacon, mozzarella sticks, and a couple drinks. Passersby would look at him oddly, while he consumed the food with the voracity of a wild animal. After eating, he cleaned his face and then walked up to the counter

"Uh... excuse me..."

A man in his late twenties spoke aloud

"Yeah, kiddo?"

"Can you tell me where I can find a place for me to rest?"

"Uh... sure. What you'll wanna do is follow the 75th Street this way-"

He pointed it towards the east

"Then go left onto Sheridan Road, follow it and on the right side you'll see 56th Street. Follow that until 8th Avenue where you'll take a left. There'll be a place there."

Oswald smiled to him and nodded

"Thank you, sir. Can I have a fish sandwich and chicken sandwich, with a large root beer to go?"

"Okay kid."

Oswald then placed a hundred on the counter.

"That's for the food. The rest is for you as thanks for helping me."

The man looked dumbfounded but rung up the order and in ten minutes, the food was prepared, and Oswald would be on his way, following the directions given to him by the man all the way to the visitor bureau where he could rest up for a while before heading onto the road, wandering the world.
