The "Dark Warrior" Micheal Graves first broke into the wrestling scene in October of 1999. It all started in the GWFO when CEO Dan Edler forced Micheal Graves in to a (Rock Band) KISS gimmick. Micheal would come out to the ring dressed up as Gene Simmons, and even "borrowed" the name. Since Gene Simmons was also known as "The Demon", Micheal decided to play the character as a vampire.

Tired of playing the forced KISS gimmick, Micheal Graves moved on to the Net World Order. There Micheal was allowed to use his real name, but he was still stuck in the same vampire gimmick, since management thought that was what had gotten him over in his previous role. A few months in to his career with the NWO, Micheal began to change though. Some of the stunts he was pulling as "The Vampire" were no longer stunts. Micheal began drinking blood on national TV, among other twisted and brutal acts, figuring if they wanted a vampire he would play the character for all it was worth.

Finally in the beginning of 2001, Micheal Graves snapped completely. Micheal Graves one of most successful runs to date came from his mental breakdown. As his personal life began to crumble his professional life finally began to take off. During this time he won the NWO United States and World Titles within weeks of one another. Unfortunately for Micheal, upon winning the World Title, the owner of the Net World Order decided that Micheal's brutal style and substance abuse problems meant that Micheal Graves was no longer a good fit for the family friendly NWO. A scheme was set up to take the belt off of Micheal, and once completed, Micheal was promptly terminated from the Net World Order.

Micheal spent the next two years in and out of rehab, taking very limited dates with various independent wrestling organizations such as TWCCW out of Texas. In 2003 at one of his independent bookings, Micheal Graves had a chance meeting with Jonathyn Brown, then owner of the Xtreme Wrestling Federation. Jonathyn was scouting talent to include in a battle royle for one of his upcoming PPVs, and a new clean Micheal Graves was one of the names that got the call.

Although Micheal Graves did not win that particular match, his showing was impressive enough that he was offered a full time XWF contract. While in XWF Micheal would go on to win the XWF World Title, and was a co-holder of the XWF Tag Team Titles. Micheal's XWF run is most remembered by his savage feud with his twin brother Sean Graves. Sean and Micheal Graves had some of the most brutal meetings of that era and often attempted to end the careers and lives of one another.

In 2006, looking for a reduced schedule, and a new pool of talent to work with. Micheal parted was with the XWF and signed a contract with World Pro Wrestling. Micheal would go on to win both the WPW World and Television titles in WPW before deciding to call it a career in early 2007.

Since then there have been a few times where former XWF owner Jonathyn Brown had tried to lure Micheal Graves back to the XWF, but Micheal was happy with retirement and always declined such offers.

It wasn't until Micheal Graves caught wind of a new comer to the XWF who was using a very similar name and look to himself that Micheal started thinking about making a return to the ring. Micheal himself has remained ambiguous about his intentions, but it's likely that whatever his intentions are, it'll be a wild ride.

There are some who lurk in the shadows and some who might not be using their old names. As of late I've mostly been an occasional lurker being that I'm so busy outside of the fed, but when Jonathyn decided to step down as owner it was me who took over to make sure the XWF would continue to evolve and thrive. I think you'll really enjoy the place as we have a lot to offer and have some incredibly talented and fun writers/RPers you've never had the chance to work with yet!
