Woe is sitting on his front porch of his house smoking a cigar with his mask pulled up to his nose. Bishop, granted probably a different Bishop from the last one seen, walks out of the house and sits in the chair opposite of him. Woe looks at Bishop and is about to say something, but shakes his head and continues smoking the cigar. Bishop yawns and slightly shakes as he knows he's on shaky ground just being out of the laboratory. Bishop closes his hands behind his head and leans back.

BISHOP: So... uh... Mr. Woe?

Woe looks at him as if he's an absolute moron. Woe chews the end of the cigar softly and clenches his fists. He breathes deeply and lays back in the chair. He takes the cigar out of his mouth and twirls it around in between his fingers.

WOE: What is it Bishop?

BISHOP: I was wondering... did any of the former Bishops ever ask you about your past? Ask about your childhood?

Woe stops twirling the cigar and looks back at Bishop. The question had caught Woe off guard. Was this Bishop really asking him about his past? Why was he so curious? Woe puts out the cigar and pulls down the mask.

WOE: I can't say that they have... are you requesting some background on your current employer?

BISHOP: I... guess I am.

Woe sits back and thinks for a moment. He holds his small legs and his beefy arms.

WOE: I will tell you one story.... and then you GET YOUR ASS BACK INSIDE TO MAKE PRODUCT! Understand?

Bishop shakes heavily and can only nod his head. Woe leans back and begins to tell the story...

Boat Named Benevolent
11:20 AM

The waves rock against the sides of the mighty Benevolent. Three young boys are running around on board a small party barge. Two of the boys are much smaller than the other. They have a small baseball that they are throwing around. The adults are on the other side of the barge and are drinking heavily, ignoring the boys.

FERNANDO: Hey Woe! Throw me the ball!

Woe obliges and Fernando catches it and rolls forward throwing the ball to the larger kid. The larger kid, named Aaron, just held the ball and smiled at the other two boys. Woe motioned that he wanted the ball, but Aaron just laughed at pointed at him.

AARON: If you want it, Woe, come and get it!

Woe, seeing the challenge, ran over to the boy and jumped to grab the ball. However, Aaron just held it over his head and laughed at him. Woe became frustrated and kicked the boy in the shin. The boy yelled out and dropped the ball. Woe gleefully grabbed the ball and lobbed it at Fernando who caught it. They began playing their own game of catch when Aaron comes charging into the game. He shouldertackles Woe and begins pounding his face in. Woe had never been in a fight in his life at this young age. The boy kept wailing down punches to the masked face of Woe. The boy then stood up and removed Woe's mask, blew his nose in it, and then threw it back to Woe. Woe's face, obscured by the flashback, seemed to shake as he became incredibly angry and frustrated at the beating he had just taken.

WOE: One day, I'll be the biggest person around, and I will punish you for making me feel so... so... pathetic.

Woe finishes his story and lights his cigar back up. He takes a long draw before letting out a perfect smoke ring. Bishop looks at him with increasing interest. He's not so nervous now.

BISHOP: Wow that was... an amazing story. That was what inspired you to create Toxin-7?

WOE: Well... it certainly fueled my rage as a child to make myself want to get enormous to punish those that tortured me as a kid. But it wasn't my sole reasoning behind doing what I did.

Woe blows a few more rings of smoke. Bishop looks at him expecting some sort of elaboration.

BISHOP: Well what was?!

Woe turns around and looks at Bishop.

WOE: DIDN'T I TELL YOU ONE STORY AND THEN YOU GO BACK TO WORK!?!?! Don't make me kill you.

Bishop jumps up and reaches for the handle. Woe places a hand over his and looks him in the mask.

WOE: What is your name, Bishop?

Bishop looks at him hesistantly before finally answering.

BISHOP: My name is Andre, Andre Hernandez.

WOE: Good. Because you will be my permanent Bishop, Andre. Now get to work before I change my mind.

Bishop ran into the house and down into the lab. Woe shakes his head and blows a smoke ring.

WOE:
Mastermind. I shared with you a story from my childhood to show you that I wasn't always the behemoth you see before you. To show you a bit of what made me who I am today. Bring your best, Mastermind. Bring it all because Woe wouldn't have it any other way. You can attempt to put me in the Mind Controller, but I will break out of your pathetic finisher and knock you out of contention. You can mock and you play, but the realism in this situation is that I will demolish your body until you have to retire. Hmm. Maybe you can become my new manager when I force you to retire. As for being the hunted, my entire childhood consisted of being the victim. I know what it's like being hunted. So bring it Mastermind or Dick Master. I'm not afraid and I will destroy you just the same way I destroyed you last week. That's not a threat. That's a fucking promise.
