The song "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage begins to resonate throughout the arena, signifying the arrival of The Straight-Edge Superstar, CM Punk. Within ten seconds of his theme music beginning,Punk casually walks out from the back with an arrogant smirk on his face. He looks out at the booing XWF Universe, many of whom are hurling obscenities the way of a man they now despise. Punk slowly begins to take a knee at the top of the ramp, running his hand along the stage before raising a clenched fist and gazing at his wrist as if checking a watch. Punk raises his hands to his mouth

......and screams "It's Clobberin' Time!" as the fans boo him once again. Punk swings around and holds his arms out, taking a couple of steps backwards down the rampwhile displaying the back of his shirt. Punk turns back around and makes his way further down the ramp, not acknowledgingthe crowd whatsoever. He walks up the steel steps and climbs to the top of the nearest turnbuckle, screaming that he's the "Best in the World!" and raising his arms triumphantly. After a few seconds of soaking in the negative atmosphere, Punk jumps down and heads to the opposite side of the ring where he's handed a microphone. Punk heads to the centre of the ring, music now ceased, and he takes a seat. Punk waits patiently for the crowd to become silent before he speaks.


CM Punk: I don't know about all of you but I could get used to opening Warfare. I am the only man on this Damn roster that you should truly pay attention to and it's only right that I kick off proceedings each week.Maybe Soooon when I put a belt in my waist, I'll ensure that that comes to pass, but until then this will have to do. So get used to this, ladies and gentlemen, but also get used to what's gon' happen this week.
Punk looks around with a smirk before moving on with it.

CM Punk: I've been asked to relay my thoughts about MY First ever match here in XWF and my thoughts are pretty simple. Anything that I am involved in is always guaranteed to garner interest. I draw big time because everybody, from all corners of the Earth, watches warfare to see the Best... in... the World. I can hold up my end of the bargain but I question whether Thunderbolt X can hold his. So the question stands here, Really?, This is what the best WARFARE has to offer? ThunderBolt X is the best that Kirk MacClay had to offer me, a representative from the greatest brand in the XWF?
It's no secret that X's career had essentially stalled from the very start. He obviously became aware of this and as a result he's trying to make a living out of quite a dying career, so I'll givecredit where it's due. I can respect that but what I don't respect is the fact that he is a NO-BODY to step in the ring with a former IWA, ROH and WWE legend undeservingly.

Nobody knows how to react to Punk's comments, so they just listen to what else he has to say.

CM Punk : It makes me absolutely sick to my stomach that in every wrestling promotions i've been, I proved time after time that I am the rightful Championionship material while Their 'yes men' endorses a nobody, And Do you know why I came to this miserable brand? It wasn't because I wanted a lucrative contract. It wasn't because I thought that XWF had the best competition. Those two things are meaningless to me. I've had a career full of great matches and I have enough money for 3 lifetimes. No, no I came to XWF for respect. I wanted the respect that I have earned in this biz for over 16 years of hard work and dedication and so far I haven't gotten a damn bit of it! I am sick and tired of being disrespect on MY show(Wrestling Biz) because, make no mistake about it, gentlemen. This is MY show, you just run it. I'm the one who pays your bills. I'm the one who gets you the ratings you need. I owe You. But after all said and done what you have given me, 'Thunderbolt X' ?

The fans start booing punk loud for his disrespectfull comments ...

CM Punk : So here is a short but a clear warning for you buddy, I know that you can't beat me on your own. I made that pretty clear, X, I've actually made a lot of things pretty clear and yet you seem to be missing the point within all of this. I am the Best... in... the World, I have an undisputed identity known worldwide. You're trying to discover who you are and you're doing a miserable job at it. I'm not buying into this new and improved 'Thunderbolt X', but then again nothing you have ever done has caught my interest. This is a Mission Impossible for you, X, and it's going to be just as terrible as that entire series of movies. You think you've risen from the ashes, you think it's about time you fulfilled your potential and you don't think anybody is going to prevent you from doing just that. You're the future, you're the guy who everybody has their eyes on! The underdog, the man who's going to send CM Punk right to the back of the line once again. Just like I don't buy into you, nobody is going to buy into that ever happening! And trust me when i promise you this, this wednesday night i'm gonna make sure that the match look like slaughtering and fans forget it was just a match and I'll prove that I'M THE BEST IN THE WORLD
