"Why the hell am I wasting my time doing this? We should've been on our way to the airport by now!"
Jill managed to say those words despite the fact that she was barely able to even breath. She tugged and dragged the sack behind her, which contained an estimated 210 pounds of weight. She heaved and she sighed, completely exhausted right up at this point. The snowy conditions didn't make things much easier either; there was three inches of snow that covered the ground and the bone-chilling wind was blowing and swirling the falling snow everywhere, nearly hindering her sight. Her body was aching and sore, she was cold and shivering and her hands were beginning to form blisters. Jill was convinced that she would drop dead at any moment.
And this was all at nearly five o'clock in the morning. Not even a cup of Joe she drank before her friends practically dragged her out of the house and off to the fields.
Apparently, a boot camp session was what her squad had planned yesterday. They saw this as a way to help Jill get "motivated" (as Riley put it) and to help her get back on the winning edge. Is it by far the most stupidest thing anyone has heard of: yes. A definite yes. However, Jill's posse thought that this was a brilliant idea for her.
Jill finally managed to drag the sack of weights to the checkpoint on the field and nearly collapsed. She was completely out of breath and her body was in such a ridiculous, unimaginable amount of pain. Luckily, her boot camp session was complete.
"Damn girl, that's beast mode right there! Yo, Jill's 'bout to stomp out all of those wack-ass niggas now!" Riley said, with the other girls nodding in agreement. Jill however was less enthusiastic. She was beginning to contemplate if she should knock everyone the fuck out, but later decided against it. She didn't have the energy at the moment.
"You know...You guys are just messed up...waking me up at twelve and doing this to me...for what?" Jill tried to catch her breath, but the wind was unrelenting and just made it even harder to breathe.
"Bitch, we already told you!" Monica began, "What, you hearing impaired now? I think deafness is becoming associated with diabetes now because of all those damn cookies you are off! Watch how you gonna be so fat that you orbits and all of those damn comets are gonna orbit around you. Shoot, NASA might even have to send a damn rover to land on you and inspect your whole surface area!"
The others began to start laughing... except for Jill. Riley would also chime in on all of the action.
"Heh... she's gonna be so fat that whenever she'll take a step, you'll be able to hear Carole King singing: I feel the earth move under my feet. I feel the sky tumbling dooooown!"
Alexandra added in to the joke, trying to act all scared and dramatic. "The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The world is coming to an end and it's all because of Jill!"
At this point, the girls were in tears. They were all in hysterics.
"Shit, she probably has -- Uhh... yo, where's Jill?"
Unbeknown to the girls, Jill had snuck off with the car keys and drove off, making her way to the airport. She left them all there, stranded out in the field. Of course, it wouldn't take long for them to realize that Jill abandoned them. Furious, the group made their way back home as they huddled like penguins while traversing through the cold.
