The last time we left Mastermind, he had told Maria about his past. The first time he told someone all about his past.

The moment they turned up at Maria's parents place for tea, Maria's oldest brother, Jake, met them outside to try and establish dominance, but Mastermind was all cool about. His next question was, was he going to get the same reaction from the rest of her brothers, but that's when Maria's father walked out to introduce himself.


Mr. Rob Swift walked out of the house. He looked at Jake.

ROB: "Inside, now."

Jake looked back at Mastermind, and then walked past his father and into the house. Rob looked at Mastermind.

ROB: "I'm sorry about Jake, I don't want you to think I brought Maria's brothers over here to create tension. I wanted them to all meet you."

"I understand."

Rob held his hand out.

ROB: "My name is Rob."

Mastermind took Rob's hand and shook.

"Please to meet you Mr. Swift. 'M's my name."

ROB: "Good to finally meet you."

Rob looked at Maria, and gave her a hug.

ROB: "Come on in and meet the rest of the family."

Rob walked inside, Mastermind looked at Maria and smiled.

MARIA: "I'm sorry about Jake, but Dad likes you, that's a good sign."

"How do you know he likes me?"

MARIA: "He came outside, he told Jake off, and he shook your hand. The way you spoke to Jake. Normally he would stay inside and let my brothers sort things out, before he comes outside. You're doing well."

"I didn't know I was under a test."

MARIA: "They're very protective of me. I'm the only female apart from Mum."

"I'm very protective of you."

Maria smiled and they had a quick kiss, before Maria lead Mastermind into the house.

The hall way was nice and spacious. Jake was at the door way to the living room, but as Rob walked past, he pushed him into the living room. Mastermind followed Maria all the way to the living room, and went in.

Sitting on chairs were 4 other men plus an older lady. Maria's Mother, Rose.

Maria's mother smiled and stood up. She walked straight over to Maria and gave her a hug.

ROSE: "You look beautiful baby."

MARIA: "Thank you Mum. Mum this is 'M'."

Rose looked up at Mastermind.

ROSE: "Aren't you a tall lad, my name's Rose, it's very good to finally meet you 'M', Maria's told us a lot about you."

Rose gave Mastermind a hug.

"It's good to meet you Mrs. Swift."

ROSE: "Please call me Rose."

"Okay, Rose."

ROSE: "Please have a seat, dinner is about to be ready. Maria will you help me please, oh and you too Jake."

Jake was still eyeing up Mastermind. Maria gave Mastermind a peck on his cheek, and whispered in his ear.

MARIA: "I'll see you shortly, it's time for you to get the know the others."

Maria followed her mother out of the room, and grabbed Jake on the way, and pushed him out of the room.

ROB: "Have a seat 'M'"

Mastermind turned around and sat down next to Rob. The other 4 got up and introduced themselves. Fred, Markus, Wayne and Andy. Andy was the youngest boy, about two years older than Maria, and he was chomping at the bit to meet Mastermind. When he finally got introduced he had a pad and a pen in his hand.

ANDREW: "I watch the XWF like crazy. I love watching that Gator dude what's he like?"

ROB: "Now Andrew I'm sure 'M' doesn't want to talk shop."

"It's okay Rob, it's no problem. Well Andrew, Gator's really cool. He's good to have on your team but is very hard to beat if you oppose him."

ANDREW: "He's a great Television Champion, you lost to him twice hey?"

"Unfortunately yes. But we've had great matches."

ANDREW: "What about that Dwarf man Frodo, he looks crazy."

"He is crazy, but in a good way. If you get on the right side of him he's cool. I'm friends with him. I don't try to get into any matches more than I should, because I know I won't win."

ANDREW: "What about the Doctor. Doc Louis D'Aville, can you beat him in your title defense?"

ROB: "That's enough Andrew."

"I'm going to try. It's the first time I met him. But I'm going to give it my 100 percent best."

ANDREW: "Can I have your autograph?"

Andrew handed Mastermind the pad. Mastermind smiled, and took it, and signed his name, and gave it back. Andrew had a huge smile, and left the room.

ROB: "Sorry about that 'M', he loves his wrestling."

"That's okay sir, I didn't mind."

Mastermind sat back.

ROB: "So then, you're pretty serious about my daughter?"

Mastermind turned and looked at Rob.

"I am sir, I've known her for a few months, we've been 'together' as a couple for a few weeks, but I can absolutely guarandamtee you that she is the most important person to me. I love her to pieces."

Rob smiled.

ROB: "I can see that you do. It's the happiest I've seen her in a long, long time."

MARKUS: "Same goes with me, Maria and I are pretty close, and I can see she's really happy when she's with you."

"I'm not going to do anything to stuff things up, I know that my current situation has me traveling around the world and the states a lot of time, if I had my way, she'd be right with me. But there are people at the XWF who could exploit that, and I'm not willing to risk that."

ROB: "Please to hear it, I like you 'M', so I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt."

"Thank you sir."

Jake came into the room.

JAKE: "Dinner is ready."

Mastermind got up, and followed the lads into the dining room, where he took a seat right next to Maria, who gave him a big smile, and a kiss on the cheek, and then they all began to eat.

The rest of the evening went pretty well, and it seemed that Mastermind was accepted into the family.

On the way back to the Mansion, Maria looked up at Mastermind from the seat of the limo.

MARIA: "Thank you so much for tonight Babe, it really went well. Dad likes you, Mum loves you, she reckons that you are a big softie in person."

"Don't let anyone from the XWF hear you say that, or I'll never hear the end of it. I think everyone but Jake liked me."

MARIA: "Jake will come around don't you worry. He's just being the eldest brother. I know you have to start getting focused for your match with the Doctor, so I appreciate it."

Mastermind smiles and looks at her.

"Maria."

MARIA: "Yes?"

"I love you."

MARIA: "Oh 'M' I so love you too?"

They kissed and the limo continued onwards to the mansion.
