It's time for the War Games draft to begin! Due to the sheer numbers that have entered this match, we have gone with a THREE MATCH program! Each of the three matches will be a 5-vs-5 tag match with one fall to a finish. (ooc: writing them up as elimination would take forever)

That means SIX captains are named, and each captain can draft FOUR people to their team, one at a time. Captains must follow the exact order I list them in here. This will mean one name will be left undrafted, unfortunately. Whoever that person is who does NOT get drafted will still be able to RP for the show and will be added to any team that needs a substitute due to a no-show or for any other reason. Or, you might get used as a guest referee or as a "manager" for a team that looks like they might need a slight boost as the week goes on. Even if you're not drafted, if you RP we WILL find a role for you in this show!

So for example, Mastermind gets to reply here and draft ONE name first, then Mr. WGWF gets to come and draft ONE name, and so on... and so on... until each captain has drafted four names to his team for a total of five names PER team.

If you're NOT a captain, DO NOT reply in this thread. ONLY captains should reply in this thread, and only in the exact order I listed them above to choose their picks one at a time. I will set up a separate thread for "Draft Reactions" which the rest of you guys are welcome to talk in as much as you want regarding who has picked who, talk shit at each other, etc...

The only exception is IF you have an OOC question, captains or draft names, you ARE welcome to post it here as long as it's a legitimate OOC question that has to do with this draft.

NOTE: Since this MAY take a while to play out depending on what times of day/night people are online to pick names, I'm going to just wait and see how long this takes before choosing the date of this War Games. Since there's no upcoming Monday Madness show, this works out perfectly and allows us to go on a sliding schedule to give us a full week of RPing starting from the day this list is concluded! The idea of doing this in a "snake" draft style was brought up to me, where basically the order of captains goes top to bottom, then bottom to up, and keeps going back and forth like a snake chasing a shit filled condom rolling around or something. I can see how that kind of idea would help keep things fair, especially for those captains toward the bottom of the list, but by the time I got online round two had already begun.

SO... what I'm going to do is REVERSE the orders of the captains for round THREE and FOUR!

Azrael, when you come and make your pick, you actually get to make TWO picks in a row because you'll be ending the original order AND immediately starting the reversed order.

One this is an IC thread, two, everyone is aware that the faster the picks are made the sooner we get to start the roleplaying process but people have lives and other things that prevent them from being online all day. The picks will come in when they come in. Have a drink and calm down.
