HOUSTON, TEXAS

FOUR SEASONS, HOUSTON - HOTEL

Mastermind had been weary from his trip from New Zealand to the States to take part in Monday Night Madness, and in particular a match against the X-Treme Champion Bobby Zi, for a chance to take back his title.

He's then due to head back to Australasia, to Perth, Australia where he has to appear in a Fatal Four Way Match on Wednesday Warfare, against Blake Myles, the winner of the Mini Gauntlet in Russia - Robot Wrestler 1, and Jonathan Thomas Cross.

Mastermind has decided to go for a sleep. He starts dreaming. He starts remembering back to when he was 16 years old.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
16 YEARS OLD

MASTERMIND IS KNOWN AS 'M' FOR THESE DREAM STATES

Mastermind is sitting on the beach, overlooking the ocean, thinking about his life. Of how hard it's been at times, and of where he's been. He hadn't noticed that it's gotten cloudy, and other people have left the beach. But he was stuck in his little world of remembrance. Suddenly he was broken out of his state, by drops of rain. He looks up. It had just started to rain.

But he sits there. It's like it didn't bother him to be getting wet. Because he knew why. Two years ago, a few months after he joined the high school wrestling time, and learnt several key lessons, another lesson was about to be learnt.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

14 YEARS OLD

As we first learnt he lost his mother at an early age, and because his father had to work in order to bring money in to the home, he was hardly around, therefore because he was left alone, he became angry, and fought many fights. It all came to a head when enough was enough and at age 14 he was threatened with expulson, and threatened with being sent to boarding school by his own father. He was saved by a Wrestling Coach called Mr. Tommy Clarkeson. Who wanted him to work with him. But his own father sent M to live with Mr. Clarkeson.

We also found out that Mr Clarkeson was now teaching 'M' some vital lessons to do with Wrestling and life as well. His first lesson he learnt was Discipline. For all they tried, Clarkeson and the captain of the Wrestling Club, George kept trying to break 'M' But 'M' just stood his ground.

His second lesson was all about not talking back when it mattered. Not letting your team mates down. He had to learn respect. It was hard when he hadn't been given respect whilst growing up. But none the less he learnt it at that lesson. In bucketfuls.

His third lesson was all about working as part of a team to earn Loyalty. If you can be loyal to a team mate, even though most of the time you oppose them then they should be loyal to you, in order to win a match.

A few weeks after learning the first 3 lessons that had to do with Guidance, Loyalty, and Respect. 'M' was starting to change his attitude towards life. It was slowly eroding from his system. It was okay, as he did have a tough early few years of his life, but he needed to let that go, and he was starting to.

Mr Clarkeson, the Schools Wrestling Coach, had been teaching 'M' some proper wrestling moves, and he was starting to take to it. The team was building up to a one on one night with another school. Which meant that each team member had to compete one on one with a member of the opposite team, and the overall count would be the school that won the most matches.

The team was George, Rodwell, Baxter, Currie, and 'M'. Their opponents were known as The 'Storm'. They were given that nick name because of the way they went through matches, like a storm, and because of that earned wins.

The day of the tournament came. George was the first up, and 'M' watched. as he took control. George was going up against the 'Storms' Vice Captain, and he had George on the ropes early, but George pulled through and pulled out a shock win.

Rodwell was next up, he was no match for the 'Storm' captain. He tore Rodwell apart, and got the win to make it 1 all.

Next up was Baxter, who almost got pinned several times, only to pull out some great kick outs, and he slowly turned the tide his way. To win the match. That made it 2-1 to 'M's team.

Next up was Currie, but he never had a chance as he was brutally taken down early, and couldn't get back up. As the end of the match was approaching, Coach Clarkeson pulled 'M' aside.

CLARKESON: "This is your first big match, I don't want you to stress about what the score line is. I want you to compete to the best of your abilities. They are raw and fresh, I just want you to do your best, and we'll work on everything else next week. Got me. If you lose you lose, but give it your best. Got me?"

"Yes sir."

But 'M' did not intend to lose, once the result was known in the Currie match, 'M' made his way to the ring followed by Clarkeson. He was about to face a life changer. His opponent was about to leave for the big time in New Zealand Wrestling, but he was known as a great wrestler. He had been captain of the 'Storm' early but gave it away in the last year. His name was Dante.

To 'M', Dante looked huge. He was going to have to be at his best. When the bell rung. Dante came at him full steam, try as he might, 'M' couldn't stay away from him, and he was caught, and placed in a head lock holding move.

Whilst there 'M' thought quickly what he needed to do.

"Come on 'M' think what you have to do, you can't afford to lose your first match, otherwise no one will trust you. What were my first lessons again? Guidance, Respect and Loyalty. Okay first things first, I need to respect this dude."

Instead of struggling with the hold, 'M' just stopped struggling. He just laid there. Dante couldn't believe it, or he just had the match turn in his favor. He got up, and sent 'M' into the ropes, 'M' came running back, ducked underneath his clothes line attempt, and stopped. 'M" turned quickly, Dante turned next, got caught with a knee to the gut, and 'M' landed a DDT.

Laying on the mat for a few seconds 'M' quickly thought to himself.

"Next up I need guide him into MY moves."

'M' jumped to his feet, as Dante was getting back to his. Slowly but surely over the course of the next few minutes, Dante was making crucial mistakes and starting to let 'M' take control, by using his movements.

'M' knew he was on top, and the match was about to end. But he needed to focus or else one mistake could go Dante's way.

His next thoughts were:

"Loyalty. I need to stay Loyal to myself. Not bend to him when he gets a second wind. He's going to get a second win. I have to not let him get that wind."

As Dante was starting to fight back, and was about to get that second wind that 'M' knew would be his downfall, 'M' saw an opening, when Dante never went for a third slam. 'M' was lying there on his back, already received 2 slams, was waiting for the third when Dante started playing up for the crowd.

Suddenly 'M' threw all his reserves and last lot of energy into this one particular move. He jumped straight to his feet, caught a shocked looking Dante by surprise, and hit him with a flying clothes line. He quickly followed up with a cover, and pulled off a remarkable victory. One that shouldn't have been him. When the three count hit. The stadium went wild.

All his team mates hit the ring, and the celebrations started.....

PRESENT DAY

Mastermind sits straight up in his bed, looking around, and trying to remember where he was. He suddenly remembered. And then a smile came across his face.

"Fatal Four Way..... I can cause a storm to rip through the fatal four way. That storm will be me."

Mastermind lays back down, and begins plotting...
