Scene opens we see a dusty old locker room, we towels , used hand wraps and even old boots thrown around , Pictures lie on the wall , some completely covered in dust, the angle changes to see a man walk into the room he slams the door and turns on the light , The light flickers for a second before staying on , the Light highlights the dust in the room even more, A man walks around the room for a moment taking in the view , His hair is tied is long , scraggly and greasy and his face is covered in stubble , His facial hair looks unkempt and messy, He’s wearing a t-shirt and a pair of nike shorts he picks up a picture off the ground , the frame is slightly damaged , He blows the dust off it to see a man standing in a ring with his arm raised , He looks on the back of the frame and it reads Bryan James Debut 2007, the man shakes his head and leaves the picture down again.

Bryan James: Can I really be doing this again ……….I mean after all these years

James pulls an envelope out of his shorts pocket , Its addressed to him , he looks around and shakes his head slightly and begins to smirk , He now opens up the envelope and pulls out a pristine sheet of paper folded up with a watermark on it , the watermark reads XWF, He pulls it out to reveal a contract to wrestle with the Xtreme Wrestling Federation.

Bryan James: So the Xtreme Wrestling Federation , Do I really want this ? Its been a long damn time since I set foot in a ring, Do I want to put myself through all that crap again ? I don’t know, I mean its not as if I need the money, I’ve got a job , Granted I don’t like it. Is my body ready for this again to put myself through all this torture and pain , I look at this picture though and I get that feeling back again , that feeling that light me up back in 2007, Complete Wrestling Federation ….what a mecca of a place it was , I was one of the best there and it was one of the best places out there……Until the bloody owners fucked up and gave up paying the bills

James throws the picture on to the ground in anger smashing it to pieces, He sits back and thinks back for a minute , (all he can hear is the CW crowd chanting his name) He gets up suddenly.

Bryan James: FUCK IT ! I miss the roar of the crowd , Even though back then I didn’t know it, Back then I was a renegade the crowd loved me for it. I didn’t care though I was too busy trying to prove myself , I fought a lot of matchs down there, Won most except for that bloody world title tournament, My inexperience won’t get the better of me this time, But again I’m not use to this again I need to ease myself back in
,
James stops and thinks for a minute, He pulls a pen out of the envelope and signs his name to it, He puts it back into the envelope and seals it

Bryan James: Fuck that I’m either all in or nothing at all , I need this back in my life I’ve sat on my skinny fat ass for too long…..
James walks out of the room slamming the door sending dust everywhere again
SCENE END

We open up in a bathroom the sound of a running tap can be heard , the camera zooms right in on a man standing at the sink in front of the mirror, Its Bryan James he’s mid shave , his hair is much tidier now too , Its tied up in a pony tail, He’s shaving off the remnants of his beard, Just then a ding is head he takes out his phone from his pocket, It’s a text message, He looks down at it , it’s a text from XWF management it reads
You are booked for Wednesday Night Warfare you’re debut match

James looks down at it and smiles smugly , He washes off his face and quickly pulls on a T-shirt, He puts the phone back into his pocket

Bryan James: So its official my comeback is actually happening , After all this time , I remember two months ago when I signed that contract I was so confused and I hadn’t a fucking clue what to do whether to stick or twist and now here I am 5 days away from the 2nd biggest day of my career my comeback match , and even better an X-Treme Rules match my favourite kind I remember back in CW I won nearly every won I took part in , But I’m rusty my only fault.

James walks out out to the sittingroom now and sets up a camera in his living room, He now turns it on and looks straight into it as he sits down on his couch

Bryan James: Hello XWF fans , You don’t know me , you soon will but for now my name is Bryan James and I love Wrestling, A lot of people have probably come before you and promised the sun moon and the stars only to fail to deliver, Build you up to let you down so to speak, That I can promise you will not happen , Everytime I lost in CW which was very rare I had to be beaten within an inch of my life before I would stay down or quit, Its not in my DNA not to give 100%

James: That was to the XWF crowd now , To my opponents , I was worried the second I saw the names on the text Doc Shaw, Real Soviet Damage and Dwight Schrute……Now lets be clear here it’s not the guys that worried me, it’s the names you see my name is Bryan James, it’s the name that comes on my letters, bills etc , Its me, I don’t hide behind a persona or a pseudonym I am who I am and that’s that, You 3 it reads like 3 guys who picked there names out of a lucky bag, I mean who comes up with this crap , The one thing I hate about the sport I love is the bastardization of it, This isn’t the 80’s any more Doc Shaw is like something out of some cheesy crappy spaghetti western, whats you’re finisher the saloon drop or something like that, I know nothing about you , Nor do I want or need to , and you’ll understand that soon as you step in to the ring with me , Soviet guy….Ya that ended years ago , Vladamir Koslov want to be ? I don’t know and Dwight Schrute , Its screams out jobber to me,

James points back at his empty wall behind him

Bryan James: All my opponenets are going to be worried about me, but look at this wall theres noting on it yet. You see I threw out all my honours from the past its time to make some new ones and starting Wednesday , and I know exactly what you 3 clowns are going to say , you’re going to say I’’m a nobody and I’ve no right to talk shit about them , and you’d be right, I don’t I’m nothing a bit of dirt on the floor a nobody and that’s it , But after Wednesday you’ll know how to treat me..with respect and I’m going to earn it this Wednesday night

The Scene ends as the XWF logo appears on the screen
