He was a solider, there is a good chance his duty was to kill the enemy or aid in killing the enemy, depending on his specific job.

So would you then lump your father in with me and Gilmour, into that same paradigm, that is of course if he actually had killed someone.

If he was fortunate, he didn't have to.
