In loving memory...
Jordan Caliban aka Craig Moore
07/11/1987 - 02/19/2014

The church was all lit up, flowers, candles, and ribbons everywhere. Rested atop the pedestal at the far end of the church, lay a coffin, lid closed, flowers resting atop it. People came from miles to say their goodbyes to Jordan Caliban. Perched on the front row was Alexandra, long black Victorian style gown, black hat with a black veil. She kept her head bowed, smirking to herself. She sat there in silent contemplation, waiting as the others filled the pew's. She could hear a group of young women in the corner, they whispered words about how Caliban was sexy and how much each one of them wished he would have looked in their direction. Every single one of them wanted a piece of Caliban. What would they do if they knew the person who ended their hero's life, was sitting right here in the very same room? Would they try to avenge him? No. Not a one of them would be able to stand up against her. No one really gives two shits about someone until they are dead. And that is exactly what Jordan Caliban was, dead. Alexandra sat in silence as people stood and talked about Jordan, placing their hands, roses and kisses on his casket, before they filed out of the church, leaving her alone with his dead body. She rose from her seat, walking around the casket a few times, looking at it. She turned to the empty room and a cold smirk crossed her lips. This was going to be one of the coldest things she had ever done, and strangely enough, she felt a force, pushing her towards a greater goal. Her present goal, destroy Jordan Caliban, a feat she could easily do. But all things must start somewhere, she could sense someone's eyes on her, scanning the growing darkness in the church, she didn't see anyone, but she could feel them. She closed her eyes, then opened them, and began to speak, the camera to her left side, still rolling on the scene of everyone's goodbyes to Jordan.

"We come here today, to mourn the passing and rejoice in the life of Jordan Caliban, whose real name was Craig Moore. I hadn't know him before he arrived in XWF, but in the short time he was with us, I had a great many conversations with the man. He was a young man with great potential. A young man who's shining star was snuffed out, by the choice to do drugs, and try to wrestle. However he didn't let his addictions get the best of him. Finally it was just his stupidity that was his down fall. Jordan loved to get under peoples fingernails, he did it whenever he opened his mouth. The biggest mistake he ever made, was addressing my name. He knew all too well what happens when you speak ill of my families name. That was a mistake, but I'm sure he made a great many mistakes in his life. Things he wished he could have done differently. I know one of the first times I met him. He walked into a room of the biggest names in XWF and started acting like he was the most talented man in the room."

Alexandra shook her head, pulling her hair over one shoulder and she continued again. Her head swam with thoughts.

"I remember that we all stood around and tore into him. He just stood there and tried his best not to cry. That's right, Jordan Caliban was a cry baby. Then he attended a party where he proceeded to buy illegal drugs off of one of the other talent, and spent the night getting wasted. So much for his clean lifestyle image.. oops. However, he still got as mouthy as ever with anyone who would listen to him. Then...as suddenly as he had arrived.. he was gone. We all rejoiced, thinking that we no longer had to hear line after line of immature bullshit, but sadly, we were wrong. He returned, as if some plague, and picked right up where he left off. He didn't know when to shut his mouth. He pushed the boundaries, he said things people wouldn't normally say. However, that became his downfall, and he suffered. He suffered greatly. He became persona non-grata, he was the man who tried way to hard to be hated. That's what lead him here, to this pine box..."

She walked over and rested her hand on it. She started at it for a few moments, before leaning back behind the casket and pulling out a gas can. She smirked as a few people watched on in horror from the back of the church. She poured gasoline all over it and continued to speak.

"Our bodies come from the earth, and one day they must return to it. Today however is not my day, but Cali's. Ashes to ashes, and dust to dust."

As Alexandra walked down the steps and away from the casket, making her way down the center isle, she reached into her pocket, flicking a match and tossing it over her shoulder. It landed on top of the casket, quickly igniting it. The casket burst into flames and Alexandra made her way forward, out of the church. Once outside the front doors, she turned back around to see the flames starting to catch other things on fire.

"Rest In Peace, Caliban."

Alexandra made her way out of the church and started crossing the graveyard that rested next to it. The church behind her exploded into flames, leaving the area behind her bright with fire. She continues to walk from the church, looking straight ahead. She passes by a tree, tall, towering, it's branches and leaves extending towards the vastness of the starry night. Once she is passed a voice sounds out in the night.

"It seems to me like you haven't changed one bit Alexandra."

She stops dead in her tracks, turning around to see the man standing there. She looks at the man, shocked for a few moments, before she finally steps closer, looking at him as if she had seen a ghost. His tall, lean figure, his haunting eyes. His constant brooding features, but at the moment, he had a slight smile on his face, enough of one where a bit of his perfectly white teeth were showing. Alexandra was close enough now that he could reach out and grab her, pulling her against his muscular frame. She laughed softly, wrapping her arms around her old friend.

"I had heard you were... I was at your funeral."

"You should know by now, nothing can keep me down. Not for long anyways."

"How'd you know where to find me?"

"Alexandra, come on.. I've always known where you were. You aren't a hard one to track down."

Alexandra playfully swatted him.

"Why haven't you said something before now?"

She hit him repeatedly between each word.

"I'm sorry Alexandra...I'm sorry alright."

He tried to hold her close again, holding her to his chest. He pulled the hat off her head, holding it in his hand, resting them both on her lower back. He looked down at her as she began to speak again.

"Don't ever fucking disappear like that again."

She tried to push him away.

"Alexandra I'm sorry, it wasn't safe for me to be near you. There were reasons."

She looked up at him, kind of confused.

"What do you mean? Not safe? What the hell do you mean? You would never hurt me Vincent."

Vincent tried to stop her shaking her head.

"Alexandra please."

"Don't even start that Alexandra please. You dont know what I've been through. I was married to a vampire god damn it. Yeah.. Zak was.. well is a vampire, demon, god thing. So I wasn't exactly safe..."

He stood there.. blinking at her for a few moments. Their eyes locked on each other.

"What?"

Alexandra nodded her head.

"Yeah.. I was married to a vampire. Is that a shock? But he was an asshole who ripped my life apart."

Vincent's eyes sparked, he immediently started checking her for signs of being a vampire.

"Did he?"

"No Vincent.. he never bit me. I'm still as human as the day you left. I'm still me.. just.. a bit more.. well.."

She looked over his shoulder at the burning church.

"Dark."

He smirked a slight chuckle escaped his lips.

"You still doing that wrestling thing? I mean I know it's in your blood, but I haven't heard anything."

Alexandra smirks.

"What do you think all of that was about?"

She pointed at the church and he turned around to look at it.

"Still going over the top I see, I should have known. Come on, lets go.."

With that the two of them walked off, Vincent slipping his arm around her shoulders and leading her into the darkened woods.
