It's early morning on the day of War Games. There's been excitement in the air ever since this match had been announced. Both teams have a different mixture to them, but are ready to go to war to fight for their team. A win for the team would mean a win for the individual.

Over the course of this match being announced, a lot has been said regarding Eli James and his message. He's Jim Jones making his followers drink the kool-aid that leads to death and it's just one big joke, yet he's yet to be similar to that man. He's been called everything in the book and set on repeat, such as, southern preacher, a Christian, a leader of a cult, Jim Jones wannabe, he has a place of whores, he's come from an incest home since he's from the south, and any other stereotype you may come up with. He's chosen to ignore most of it because it's all his opponents have on him. It's the same old thing, and he's heard it before ever entering the XWF.. and much worse.

A handful of people have said Eli's message is nothing new and it's becoming old. Some of those people couldn't beat Eli or stop his message.

Some in Eli's shoes would explode, get distracted, or react in a different manner than who he is.. but that's why Eli is different. Eli laughs it off every time someone comes out saying something about his world, who he is, and what he's about. His focus remains on his message spreading. He's never changed his message nor has backed down to anyone who opposes it. Still, people call him a coward. Eli laughs because of how ignorant people sound.

Eli decides to leave alone from The Village and head out to California for the event later on. He's met by some officials in the XWF who want a word with him. As his helicopter lands, they walk towards him and wait for Eli to get out. As soon as he does, they walk up to him but he immediately starts talking to them as they all walk towards his limo waiting in the distance.

Eli James IV "There's a time to mourn.. a time for laughs.. a time to hate.. a time to love.. a time for peace.. and.. a time.. for war. What can you do a man who really believes what he says? I've said it all along. I've lived here.. I've lived out in your world.. I've seen what both places offer. You boys keep goin' back to the same ole stuff because deep down you're afraid. You know what happens to a kid who finally tries to stand up to a person that's picked on him for years? His words stumble.. and everything he wanted to say.. disappears.. vanishes.. and all he's left with is "you big bully". A phrase he's heard before. And why is "you big bully" all that came out from the mouth? It's real simple. Fear.

Tony Santos called me scared. Yet he failed to stop my message. He talks about me bein' phony.. yet he was unable to defeat my Prophet, Elisha. What happens after that? He leaves to go to another show. That's a coward runnin' away in fear.

I don't let my words do all my talkin'. I let my actions do some too, and I've proven that over and over again since I've arrived. People can say all that want to 'bout I chose to run with The Black Circle and it's their help I'm where I am. Some people claim to be the best, so is everyone who says it right? You let the action show the truth. You let the man's character and integrity be the backup. Just because all those people say those things doesn't mean a whole lot to me. Why doesn't it bother me? Why let lies and hot air bother me?

I've even heard one of the men I chose to join me in the match, LJ Havok, talk trash about me. He hasn't been here long enough to know a thing about me. I chose him, so he thinks he knows me? I haven't convinced myself of anything, LJ. You can convince yourself that you're worth this or that.. you're good at this or that.. and it don't make it true. Someone can be convinced they had a coffee with a cartoon character.. now that could be due to drugs and all.. but nonetheless they could convince themselves it happened. I don't need convincing. It's about knowing the truth. A liar could convince a group of people he's telling the truth and get away free from their crime. Eventually, the truth always is found. Truth is the measuring stick. It divides the 'convincing' and the 'knowing'.

The truth, man.. is that I am.

Take a sharp needle and stick yourself with it. You can convince yourself all you want you're not bleeding. That's where I come in. I reveal the truth everyone wants to deny. You can convince yourselves that I'm crazy.. it seems to make you all feel more comfortable about your sinful ways. You can convince yourselves that I'm another guy who talks about God and religion, and just uses it as a means to get wealthy. Go on if that makes ya feel easy for now.

Truth is I don't need to 'use', as ya'll put it, religion or God for selfish reasons. You think it's to get money? I'm already a wealthy man. I'm the one proving for these people. They work for it, but I haven't asked for any treasure from them. It's not money.

Do I use it to get people to follow me? I give people a chance to follow or not. If they don't, then I walk away. I let the comin' judgment settle their decision. I could be followed in the Marines because of my rank. In my biker days, I was followed by people and followed leaders myself. Over authority and under authority. It doesn't seem that's a reason why I do what I do.

Ah, power? Right? I do it for a good ole power trip. Tell me, does a man who lives to be in charge and hold power sound like a man who places himself underneath the King of the XWF? Does that man sound like a man that would hand over his half of a Team Team Title over to a friend? It sounds like I've done more than anyone else around here. I may not agree with all the ways of King John Madison and Luca Arzegotti, but we do have a commonality. Respect the King. Give honor where honor is due. I do what I can to help the King. If I were a Marine, I don't make a decision whether or not to go to war if the Commander and Chief says 'go to war'. I respect his authority and do it. I complete that task because it's my job.

So why do I do what I do? If it's not for power, money, and people to follow me.. then why? I know it's hard to hear when you are constantly changing the station, but I'll say it again.. I do it because it's the truth. I follow the truth. I lead the truth. I am the truth.

Keep on lookin'. Examine everything I say. Watch how I live. What you'll find is truth. No convincing needed.

Aside from everyone's hot air they keep blowin' my way.. ya'll wanna ask me somethin'?

Steve Sayors "Sorry to bother you, Eli. Just a few questions as you get ready for your match tonight on Warfare. It's a big match. Once you were named captain, most would have thought they would be your entire Congregation, but you went outside and got a few guys who don't fit with you. Why did you go outside your camp?

Eli James IV "Everyone needs to see the truth.

Steve Sayors "Short answer. Ok. It appears most people have attacked you personally and not a whole lot has been said about your teammates. How do you feel about that?

Eli James IV "You always go after the threat first. They wanna try and chop me down like a tree. They want to take the United States title off my shoulder and be the one to 'teach ole Eli a lesson'. I've been taught several lessons in my life. It's said nothin' new is underneath the sun. I agree with that statement. We think the phone was somethin' new and exciting, but building community among people is the core of it. Keepin' in touch with people is at the core. It's really nothin' new. Just a different way.

Steve Sayors "Is the Congregation divided right now?

Eli James IV "A house divided against itself cannot stand. Ya here that before? Do I look divided?

Steve Sayors "Well, not really. There's been some harsh words towards you and your beliefs. How..

Eli James IV "I've been here for a while, man. It's been said a thousand times. Ya think those words have hurt me? Heh. Have they shook me at all? Have I began to doubt the ways I follow? All I hear is those voices of fear. Worries about the comin' judgment. Don't look to me to show you mercy. Don't look to the Almighty to forgive you and your evil ways. DIE IN YOUR SINS! That doesn't hurt my feelings. It may even bring a little tinkle in my eye. You chose that path so why would I be sad?

War Games. They've tried to play war with words and have failed. They're tryin' to play war with the mind and they're failing at that too. What's left? War with the body on the line is here. Two rings.. one big cage.. and some blood thirsty people.

They are in this match for themselves. They are lookin' out for themselves. Me? I watch over my followers. They watch over me. We are a union under the Almighty lookin' down upon us. It's gonna be a time when people start seein' me as a man of my word. If they choose to deny, then let them be the fools who deny the plain truth.

The truth has been here all along. Those who oppose us tonight will reap a destructive path.

Griffin calls his group.. his team.. when Angelus is the captain. Their group is already divided. They aren't ready for war with us.. they are ready for war among themselves. He thinks I base my world by a movie? A beautiful label. A label given by a fool. Right, Mad Max? Oh, you're a mechanic. You can fix cars but can you fix a broken soul like I can? You can repair an engine but can you repair an eternity?

You can look at my fiance', Sincere Lee Wild, and call her whatever you can think in that nutshell brain of yours. I bet it's hard comin' up with somethin clever. You're a man that looks at the past. You did this.. you've done that.. I've been here.. I come from this..

I live in the present. I look to the future. The past is only a memory. Sure, it teaches us things and helps define who we're becoming.. but it doesn't define who we are right now. So if that's all ya got, bringing up movies and talkin' about Sincere Lee Wild.. then maybe you should be a time traveler that lives in the past.

Tonight's the night War takes place and men will fall. The truth will shine forth and hearts will be broken. People's lives will be changed. They'll look back and know I mean what I say. The time is approaching. The end.. hehehe.. oh, the end. It's time to walk the animals to the slaughter. The end.. is here. Hehehehe.

If I were them.. I'd just leave. But then again.. they'll be found and led to the darkness. I guess they just need to meet the maker. See ya soon.

Eli turns to the camera and gives a big smile.. he walks off leaving the XWF guys standing several feet away from his limo. It drives off to the arena for tonight's event.
