He opens the door and climbs in the drivers seat. He says to himself:

I'm glad it's just down the road.

He starts it up.

I smiled and leaned back in the passenger seat, watching him as we backed out.

"Be glad I had it customed ordered to be an automatic."

I laughed softly as we started down the road.

"You're doing good. It's not hard to stay in the lines."

Alright, cool, cool.

He continues along the road for a bit.

Okay, I need to take this right, tell me when to brake...

I yawned softly, "Now is good."

He slowly applied the break and turned right, pulling in front of an apartment complex and he killed the engine.

"Good. Now, get your license and I'll let you keep the car."

I giggled and he stared at me, shocked that I say it like I was offering candy.

Daniel shook his head, disbelieving of her gift.

Nah, I couldn't take this from you.

He opens the door and gets out. She does the same. He slides the keys across the roof of the car toward Minxs.

"It's really no worries. It's not like its my only car."

I throw the keys back at him as he comes around the car and I take his hand as we walk into the apartments.

Evan is then seen coming out of seemingly nowhere

"Hope I'm not interrupting anything."

I look at the man, confused.

"You're the one who was scared of a lolly."

I start laughing and leaning against Daniel.

Daniel looks Captain Extreme up and down.

Oh how fun. I didn't realise you lived in my apartment block too. What do you want, Captain?

"I wasn't afraid of the lolly, I just had one of those short lived "stranger danger monuments" it was only short lived."

"You were still scared."

I look between Daniel and Captain.

"Is there something you needed or are you just the stranger danger cop?"

I smile, flashing some baby fang before laying my head on Daniel's tense shoulder.

Daniel, if you have any trust issues forget them. I would never try to take that here.

He then points at the title

He is talking about Smoke's lack of trust

Daniel's still looking at him, disbelieving. He adjusts the belt on his shoulder a little, mostly to make a point.

Right. In any event, I know you're here now. If I catch you trying to one-up me for the belt, I won't hesitate to throw you out the fucking window. Lord knows how desperate you are for it.

Look dude if I really wanted that belt, I would've already tried something.

He then thinks of something

Besides, you've said it yourself, things are far more satisfying when earned

He then turns to head in

Daniel grabs his shoulder. Captain stops, as Daniel turns him back around.

Look, I wanna make sure things are sound between us. If we're living in the same building then I don't want there to be any bad blood. But just remember that when we're at the arena, that goes until we return.

He extends his arm.

He looks down, not certain how this is going to work. Finally he just decides to get it over with.

He then extends his hand hoping that Daniel will maybe have a little more trust

By the way, names Evan.

Daniel takes Evan's hand and shakes it firmly.

He looks down at Minxs, back up to Evan, and then up toward the stairs.

I best be going then.

He then heads toward the building

I take Daniel's hand and we go inside.

"Good...I didn't want blood..."

I smiled and leaned against him

We walk up the stairs. Daniel resides in apartment 12, so it's two floors up. The walk is long and silent.

As we approach the door, Daniel pulls out his keys.

It's not in the best shape, I'll tell you that much.

I smiled and cocked my head.

"I don't mind."

He smiles, and puts the key in the hole and turns. With a click the door swings open and they walk in. Daniel takes the key out of the door, closes the door, puts the key back it and locks it, leaving the key in the door.

The apartment is a complete wreck. Clothes are strewn around the place, the cupboards are open, nothings organised. The apartment opens up into a room with a TV, a couch, and a desktop computer on the coffee table between, as well as usual ornaments and bookcases.

To the right is an open-doored bedroom, which has a bed with all its quilts and covers on the floor. To the left is a bathroom - which in this case has a door - with a toilet, a sink, and a shower all visible.

Nothing much. I'd like to say that it was like this when I moved in... but that would be lying.

I smiled and turned to face him, kissing his cheek.

"It's okay, Daniel."

I smiled and ran my hand over his chest, smiling

Daniel grabs both of her shoulders with both of his hands, and looks her dead in the face.

So now what?

I flinched and hissed softly, grabbing his arms and shoving him back into the wall.

"Never do that."

I snarled, getting close to his face before stepping back and shaking my head, gripping it slightly before I looked back up at him.

"I have no idea. Was kinda hoping that we could do something....just anything."

Daniel walks around her and sits on the couch. He leans back and relaxes. The TV and the computer are off.

Not much to do here, if I'm honest. Cable's out, I haven't got any internet and playing the computer's pinball is just getting boring as shit now.

Can't complain though. If I have to go through a few set-backs to start up my career, so be it.

I walk up behind the couch and lightly run my hands down his chest, resting my head on his shoulder.

"If you want, I can take care of it for you? You can just pay me back later when you can. It's not really a big deal."

Softly, I kiss his neck and keeps massaging his chest.

*Meanwhile on the alternate side of things

Evan walks over to his apartment #20 and opens his door.

Ahhh, home sweet home.

He walks to his apartment. Surprisingly decent. It has TV, internet, and it actually rarely clean.

You know, I hate to say it, but I take after my mother when it comes to cleaning.

He then turns on the TV, he flips it to NFL Network for preseason football then sits back and somewhat relaxes

Daniel shoves off Minxs's hands and stands up, walking back around the coffee table to face her.

No, no. I don't want to get mixed up in owing debts, especially since I've only just moved. No, if I make it I make it my own way, fairly and properly.

"You really think I care about a debt? I'm not hardpressed for anything. I'm just trying to be nice, Daniel. Believe me."

I rubbed my wrists and fought back a growl.

"Keep the car...I need to go..."

"Where are you going?"

"Well, it's either I lose my cool here or I lose it with my brother. You're the one not seeing what I was offering."

I pulled my jacket on and popped the collar.

"Text me next time you want to hang out and not act like I'm going to rip your throat out. I already told you I wouldn't bite."

I start towards the door before looking back.

"Keep the car."

OOC: xD that is actually how my characters place looks but now I realize what happened

Daniel stares at the door that she had left through. She was right, he'd acted like she was ready to sink a knife in his back when really it was nothing like that. He's obviously got to get his priorities straight.

He runs the keys in his hands. The keys to a Lamborghini. In his hands. He tosses them on the coffee table and paces around to the couch, at which he sits down in the centre, elbows on knees and face in hands.

What am I doing?

He hears a frustrated raise of a voice outside his window. He gets up and looks out, there's Minxs on the sidewalk, leaning against the Lambo. Daniel picks up the keys, unlocks his door, goes out, locks his door, and makes his way down the stairs and outside.

Then we see the scene shifting into Daniel outside of his apartment complex. Then we see him bumping into Viscera in an odd moment..


"Watch it man...Don't make me hurt you...and steal that title from you."


Someone speaks to this big man trying to not get into a physical altercation outdoors.

A snarl escapes my throat and I step away from the car, staring at the large man.

"I know you're not really that stupid?"

He turned, looking down at me.

"What do you think you can do?"

"A lot more than you can think."

I smiled and put my hand on Daniel's chest, my eyes flashing slightly.

"Let's not have blood tonight, men."

Look, man, I ain't looking for a fight. That stuff stays back at the arena.

Daniel's clearly trying to keep his distance, but Viscera's moving in.

I decide to go out and get a cup of coffee when I see this scene
