I hit the punching bag.

I hit it again and then again.

It has been a while since I even had a match, since just before Christmas and since bossman Antony The Jerk, made the decision to take us back to Miami, to get us back in to some more training.

~smack, smack smack~

Now there were only two things wrong with this picture... for me.

The first.... I felt, we, no, sorry make that, myself, didn't need further training, as I was just starting to get the hang of the XWF.

And secondly.... I felt Antony The Jerk was no longer our boss.

Sure he acted like a boss, and he was our mouthpiece. But he also took orders.....

He did tell me when he recruited me that he was acting on behalf of a silent business partner who wanted to see the Misfits succeed. We weren't told that this silent business partner was going to come out of hiding and we be his ''bodyguards'.

And then we found out who this silent business partner, was, of all people who wanted to be a part of a stable.... Bloody Mastermind."

Don't get me wrong, I'm not in any way advocating that I hate being in the Misfits, but I'm angry that when our 'boss' wants to compete, I can't. We need to help back him up.

There, I said it.... Not out loud... But in thoughts.

"What's crawled up your ass?"

I turn to see the pest of all pests, Melanie Childs, who acts like she is crazy. Or in her words, Crayzee! She was standing, watching me, hit the punching bag.

"What?"

"It means what the hell is wrong with you? You are giving that punching bag more workout than usual!"

I turn back around to face the bag

"Fuck off Melanie, I'm not in the mood,"

"Oh don't be like that, Kris. I'm just here to ask you what's wrong. Surely it can't be about your next match?"

I turn back around giving Melanie a murderous look on my face.

"I said fuck off.... leave me alone... NOW!"

I see Melanie take a step back, raise her hands as if to say Woah.

"Okay, okay, I'm going. I'll leave in peace."

She then smiles at me and skips away. I shake my head. She's forever in a dream world. I turn back around and see Antony standing holding the bag. I take a step back.

COMMUNICATIONS ROOM
MISFITS TRAINING BASE
MIAMI, FLORIDA

Kris The Hammer Von Bonn sits down in front of a camera, as it goes live to the XWF Universe.

"I'll keep this short because I'm not in the mood today."

"Finally I am returning to action after months of supporting the leader of the Misfits, Mastermind. And next week I get to compete against a newcomer, Gage Gannon."

"I don't know anything about Gage, and I don't give a fuck about him. But I am going to learn plenty about him over the next week, so that gives me something going into next Warfare."

"Gage, you seem to be competent enough. You seem to be taking the XWF with a little day at a time. Don't get me wrong when I just sit here not looking enthused. I just don't know enough about you to fully appreciate you."

"So come on you come out and say stuff about me, and make yourself feel good. I don't fucking care at this point in time. But I will come next Wednesday. I will give you a run for your money. And it's going to be fun to be able to use weapons legally. Especially this one."

Kris raises his Hammer.

"This is my trusty weapon, it serves me well. Just the knowledge that I'm allowed to use it legally in a match is giving me goosebumps. Yes there will be other weapons scattered around the ring, but no doubt they will be useful, but this Hammer will make sure I will end the match as I will give you your sentence. Because Gage, I will be your judge and jury, and I will throw not only the book at you but also end the match with this Hammer. That is one of the reasons why they call me Kris The Hammer Von Bonn."

Kris gets up and walks off.

The camera fades out.
