A video was posted to You Tube, we click play and we see footage from someone's smartphone. It was taken at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, we see the last few fans filing in as the ring announcer welcomes everyone to an XWF Live Event. Before he can start running down the card for the evening "Dreadnaught" starts to play in the arena, since this is a non-televised event his entrance is different but still we see Ashe Dawson walk out from the backstage area. His back is turned to the crowd, he is wearing a medium length black denim jacket with "ASHE" spray painted white on the back of the jacket. He turns around and gets a decent smattering of cheers and some boos as we walks to the ring.
Ashe takes his time as he slowly walks around the ringside area, he high fives a few fans at ringside as he stops in front of the ring steps. He walks up the steps slowly with a purpose, he enters the ring and walks straight to the ring announcer. The announcer is confused watching Ashe enter the ring, Ashe motions for him to hand over the microphone and the announcer does so. The announcer makes his way out of the ring as his music dies down and the crowd slowly starts to get quiet.
I know, I know all of you are wondering why am I here and not in New York getting ready for my triple threat match on Monday night? Well I know you XWF fans, I know how tech savy you all are with the social media and You Tube. I know some of you here tonight are recording the show to post on You Tube, some of your will post being here as your status on Facebook and some of your may tweet pics from here. I felt that you people should be who I talk to tonight about my match coming up on Monday night.
The crowd cheers and you see flashes from cell phone cameras go off as Ashe starts to speak again.
John Austin, wow still have not heard from you....at all since the match was announced. Either you are not feeling too well or you are too scared to come out and talk about how you will get destroyed in an X-Treme rules Triple Threat. Honestly though I do not blame you, it is kinda intimidating being in the ring with two lunatics who do not mind beating each other to oblivion with weapons. I would not blame you if you did not show up to MSG on Monday night for Madness, that would show that self-preservation is the biggest thing on your mind. If you do show up though, I am sorry to say that you will probably leave the ring on a stretcher and you may not be spending your night at your hotel but instead at a hospital room.
Enough about the no-show, Aaron Andrews....
Some of the crowd cheers and some boo just like the reaction Ashe got when he came to the ring. Ashe lowers the microphone and lets the crowd get out everything they got. When they start to calm down again, he raises the mic up to his lips and begins to speak again.
I honestly do not get you, not in the least. You tape your promos from weird places, you act like some kind of slasher movie killer but then you get your wife to do all of your talking for you. Why? You clearly have a mouth made into that mask of yours, can you speak? Was I right are you handicapped and she has to speak for you? I have been wrestling for seven years now, I have been all over the world and in every backwoods, poor man indy promotion in this country. I have seen wrestlers who are big, small, tall, short, old, young, masked, painted face the one thing they all have in common is that they all talked even if they had a manager to do their talking for them they could still talk.
Now I do think it is adorable that you and your little wifey work together in the wrestling business like this. You know travel together, go to the ring together that kind of thing. Keeps the reality of divorce from happening for the forseeable future. Now I worry about that little lady of yours and so should you, at Madison Square Garden in front of New York and the world ther is a good chance she could get in the crossfire of our match and I will not be held responsible if she ends up going to the emergency room because of something that happens in our match.
"Anarchist" let's be real here, let's "shoot" this match is going to pretty much be you, Aaron Andrews versus myself Ashe Dawson. I either do not see Austin coming or if he does he will be injured within the first five minutes. I do not know you and you do not know me and that makes us both scary to be in the ring with. What you may have seen when I wrestled Mastermind in my debut match was not even a quarter of what I can do in the ring. When we step into the ring on Monday night, there are NO rules, there is NO mercy and two of us will not walk out of MSG under our own power.
I have been in brawls with guys like you Aaron, you have this mysterious man gimmick and you want to intimidate your opponents with it. I get it, there are guys who do that every night in a wrestling ring most of them are really tall and big guys but they are there. You want to know a little secret, I am not intimidated. Mastermind did not intimidate me and you sure as hell do not intimidate me. When I step into that ring on Madness, you will get to see why I call myself "The Lunatic Fringe". You will see why I am banned from most North American indy wrestling promotions, you will see how crazy I really am. "Anarchist" I am ready are you?
"Dreadnaught" starts playing again as Ashe drops the microphone to the ring mat, he walks to the ring ropes and exits the ring slowly. The crowd still has mixed reactions toward him but now there are more cheers coming from the crowd and a chant of "FUCK HIM UP ASHE, FUCK HIM UP". Ashe slowly walks back to the curtain as the ring announcer enters the ring and picks back up the microphone to continue his job for the night.
