The stool I was sitting on slid back as I got to my feet. I walked over in Ally's direction, a smirk on my face, and leaned against the wall.

Ally smiled slightly as Damien looked over in my direction. I know he was scared when I had come to his door that night. I guess joking around him wasn't fully thought of as funny right now, with him already wanting to kick Zak in the vampire butt. I smiled at Damien before looking over at Ally.
