Damien pressed against her, it had been so long since he had wanted to be this close to someone. To need someone as much as he needed her, and knowing that she needed him.

He looked down into her eyes, before pressing his lips to hers again, being mindful of the cuts on her body. He broke the kiss and trailed kisses down her neck and shoulders, before kissing the bandage on her side.

"Mandii.. I love you too.."

The words slipped from his lips as easily as they had crept into his mind. Those three little words, had such a powerful meaning to them, didn't they. Everyone who told him they loved him, left him in the end... is that what Mandii would do?
