Damien lifted her in his arms, holding her close. Once inside of his house, he kicked the door shut, turning around long enough to lock it. Thankfully he had bought a cabin out in the woods. He had to get away from the city. Looking down into Mandii's eyes, the countless cuts covering her body made his blood boil.

"Who did this Mandii?"

He looked down into her eyes as he carried her to his room and managed to place her on the bed. Not caring about the blankets and sheets getting stained with blood. He had her to worry about right now. He ran across the room to his master bath and found the medical kit he kept in there for sewing himself up. He walked over to the bed and began to clean her up with a soft rag and some water, trying to find the cuts, beneath the blood and dirt.

"Stay with me Mandii.. stay with me. I'll have you patched up in no time."

Damien's eyes flashed with an angry look. Whoever had done this to Mandii was going to pay. He didn't care who it was. He continued to work on cleaning up and bandaging all her cuts and scraps. When he finished, he crawled onto the bed next to her and pulled her to him.

"Come on Mandii.. talk to me.. please, open your beautiful eyes.."

He took a deep breath.

"Come back to me beautiful..."

He closed his eyes, holding her close, kissing her forehead softly.
