I was kinda grateful that I had fallen into some sort of sleep state when Mandii kissed my hand. I was entirely sure what I would have done if I was awake.

It was silent in my head as I felt Mandii slip out from behind me. The sound of clay scraping against wood told me she went for more water...I hope she didn't kill my next bread basket.
