Zahra sighed, trying to ignore Mandii's presence, but it was a losing battle. There was an overwhelming heaviness in the woman's occupation of the room. It was simultaneously off-putting and enthralling, though Zahra was ignoring much of the latter effect. Rather, she turned her attention to Zak's wound. Gingerly, she grasped his arm between two fingers and placed her face closer to get a better look.
