The castle was most strange to her -- something foreign and almost ghastly. The halls wound about in strange patterns and the floors followed the motions of the walls, as though being dragged along by the hand in necessity for a dwelling. This place. It was haunted. Not necessarily by real spirits, but by the memory of things that had melted and been absorbed by the wandering walls. Though they were often blank and undecorated, those walls spoke a volume.

Zahra had placed him in an upstairs room until she could be sure what her associate's plan's were. Not Zak, but Mystica. He was the one fully in control here. And yet, she could hardly believe what she'd gotten herself into. He'd told her to head to London. Not just for Zak's sake, but to retrieve something important. She would never, under even the threat of death, reveal these plans, but she knew, above all else, Mystica knew what to do. An Ancient Old One. Ha.
