My eyes scanned the woman as she caught my undamaged arm. The bag fell from my loose grasp and landed on her foot, one of the cuffs rolling out of the bag.

The sharp part of what remained of the arrow scraped across her cheek as I reached to grab it. She took my arm and forced me against the car, forcing a scream from my throat.

My eyes flashed but I couldn't do anything, the pain from my chest too much to handle as I fell forward against her, my eyes closing.
