My eye twitched and I stood, dropping the blanket and reaching out, catching his arm in my hand and spinning him towards the stairs. My hand slid under his head to keep it from cracking on the stairs but my fangs and lips brushed against his rough neck.

"Stop pacing before this becomes a problem for both of us. I know your not the good guy since you scared the shit out of me the last place we were at together but bite the bullet, Damien. We need Griffin to get to Duke...and Griffin is hurt. Train until he comes to us or let's information slip. Then you can go for the attack but I promise you this, cause Alexandra to lose her new family and I will personally see to it that you will pay."

I lifted my head, my eyes flashing darkly as I shifted above him, making sure to keep myself just barely touching him.
