Madyson's little lion landed on my shoulder as she stared at her father, her head cocked and looking scared.

"Gahbada!"

Her eyes moved from Michael to Mackenzie, who's multicolored eyes brightened.

"Bakcood...."

Madyson cooed softly at her brother before looking back at me, her eyes back to normal. Michael groaned softly and I sat Madyson across from him. She crawled over and laid her tiny hands on his cheek.

"Badda...badda..."

She pushed against his face, her voice raising a little each time she got closer to crying.

"Badda! Badda!"
