He looked down at their twin scars. It was a blotch upon his hand, but not ugly in the slightest. It was a beautiful memory. He may have been a fool to many for having done it, but he had no regrets. These strange sentiments he held so dear.

"I can't say it was out of that simple connection. It's...much more complex."
