Alexandra looked up at David smiling a little.

"Only briefly dearest. I'm alright now. For a moment there, I wasn't too sure."

She held onto his hand tightly, feeling safe, her heartbeat still racing as it often did around him. She found herself getting lost in his eyes, trying to form a sentance to describe how she felt in that moment.

"This was supposed to be a memorable night. And I feel as if I have had every promise I made for it to be a magical night, crashed in one moment."

She looked at him still, holding both of his hands in hers.
