Alexandra nodded to him. In the moment his eyes connected with hers, she felt a rush come over her, like a soft rainfall. It calmed the storm raging within her core. The constant battle she fought deep inside. As long as she was with him, it calmed to a dull flame, like dying embers of a fire long since past.
