I nod, smiling at her. What could I possibly have done to make her believe I was having issues with being around her for some reason or another? I start to retrace my motions prior to her declaration, until Anna pulls me in and kisses me on the cheek.

She's been clingier than normal since I woke from my coma, or whatever it was. We turn to find our seat, and looking back, I nod at the hosts, somehow knowing that this wouldn't be the only time this evening where our paths were to cross.

"You weren't kidding; some of the girls here are hot!"

She whispers to me as we walk through the doors, back into the building. The volume, despite being a whisper was likely enough to be heard by anyone else on the balcony. Hey; not like I could really disagree with her...
