"Not as much as angry competitors. Fans tune in, especially to a show as deranged as Shove-It to see gratuitous amounts of violence, sexuality, and at some points, bestiality. A show full of people who want nothing above murdering their opponents will no doubt increase the level of violence, which in turn would increase the amount of people who would be interested in tuning in. Ergo, angry competitors equal high ratings.
