A blood curling scream filled the clearing and I covered my ears, shacking my head.

"NO NO! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

"MICAH!"

I jumped away from Ally, snapping my fangs at her when she tried to reach out.

"Why don't you just run? Run from me like the others."

My voice came out in a deep, snarling growl and I crouched down, snarling and snapping my fangs at her when she got close.

"Micah...just calm down."

The sound of breaking branches reached my ears and I looked behind Ally at the man who broke through the clearing. I could see their auras...I could feel their confusion and fear. The blacks, reds, blues and silvers floated around Ally and the other man.

"Alexandra..."

He was protective of her...his eyes flashed between me and her, almost at a loss of what to do. I snapped my fangs again and pressed back against the rock.
