Garrett has been so caught up in the signing process and the excitement of joining the XWF that he hasn't had much time to get used to the new work environment. Needless to say, he was actually fairly humbled that Caliban and Alex Shawn had acknowledged him while he stopped in to move his things into his new workplace. Garrett first acknowledges Alex by chuckling a bit to himself and grinning.

"Thanks for the well wish, man. You know what they say in the Independents, 'You live and die in the independents and you hope to have a good run inbetween."

He then looks over to Caliban. Unsure if Caliban was getting at something, or just making small talk, Myers walks over and glimpses at the article. To his surprise, it was one of his articles.

"I did write that, actually. I was doing a short pro-wrestling beat-writing gig until I found something more stable. That was my last article. Think of that as my resignation letter from that line of work."

Garrett turns to go back to his locker, but pauses before he walks away. He looks over his shoulder to Caliban.

"And all of that is 100% accurate, by the way."
