Grey and Van Zyl were embroiled in a bitter war of words over social media. The two South African stars had been scheduled to face off in #VixenPro before the contest was abruptly canceled.
XWF took advantage of the feud and wasted no time having the two square off. The match concluded in controversial fashion when Grey hit Van Zyl with a foreign object that was stolen from or passed to her by @LBVinnieLane
Grey denies that any illegal activity took place in the match.
Lane could not be reached for comment.
