The night is cool, early fall is upon us. We’re not cooped up inside for once, not in a strange darkened room that’s for sure. Marf is enjoying a midnight stroll in whichever decrepit neighborhood this is supposed to be. The wind picks up for a moment and some crumpled paper gently bounces over until colliding with Marf’s left leg.
Marf: A party? I don’t even remember the last time I went to a real life party...
...remember...
He’s long gone for a split second before a quick blink to reality.
Marf: No, sorry but no. I’m far too busy that night. I have my hands full with my date for that evening I’m afraid. Maybe another time...
He might have tossed the paper away or maybe it went into his pocket. Either way it is gone...
